Jesse Ko, MD

Dr. Ko has been my family doctor for a long time and I’ve once been a patient of his, until I got old… but that’s a story for another time… He’s a pediatric doctor and is very kind-​hearted and genuinely good at what he does! He’s very compassionate and understanding and patient. His office (old and new) both give off a very warm and welcoming environment. They’re very friendly to kids and is always playing some sort of Disney movie. His staff too, is also very professional and friendly. They are very helpful and like Dr. Ko, will go out of their way to help you get what you need done. He’s a one of a kind doctor and I would definitely recommended him to whoever is looking for a wonderful pediatrician in the Bayside neighborhood!

Such a wonderful pediatrician! He listens to all of your concerns and answers with great patience and kindness he has a wonderful bedside manner and I couldn’t be happier with his care. I’ve called several times during non-​office hours and Dr. Ko and Dr. Trani have always called back within a few minutes to answer any concerns. Their office staff are great too. Super easy to make appointments. Highly recommend!

Love Dr Ko. Very warm and funny! Great with the kids and he gives you good advice and treatments. Dr Troni (Spelling?) is great too! His office staff is are very efficient and plesant. Rarely have to wait for me appointment more than 5 – 10 minutes, if at all and never have trouble getting an appointment when we need it. Highly recommend!

I had a different pediatrician for my daughter from birth to about 1 y/​o. In between she had a severe bout of ear infections which had been shrugged off by the good old doc as he patronized me about paranoia as a first time mom that ended up in numerous ER trips, and ultimately steroids.
I naturally went in search of a different pediatrician and came to Dr. Ko. He is knowledgable and very good with children. He’s thorough and extremely responsive. I’ve never waited past a half hour for a return call even on his off days and when you’re told he will follow up with you, you actually hear back from him when he says he will call. I would recommend to any parent (s). His affiliation with LIJ is a big plus (for me).

Jesse Ko is an excellent pediatrician. He was the Dr that visited my son in the hospital and that we had to see twice in the weeks after birth. But we felt so comfortable with him we decided to keep him as our son’s doctor. He’s board certified, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.
