How does a shrimp scampi with only 5 shrimps cost $ 17 +tax? How does the chef forget to put prosciutto on cuatro formaggi. The calamaris were okay, pizza was really moist. Salmon entrée was good. The free dessert(that they chose for us) was a tiramisu and it was the best part. Probably won’t be coming back.

This was my second time coming here… The ambiance is nice, but the food is okay… I went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty empty. we were getting way too much attention which went from great customer service to just a tad bit much… We ordered two martinis, zuchinni fries and I got fettuccine… We didn’t finish any of our orders… It was too heavy, the shrimp weren’t so fresh in my pasta. For dessert I ordered cannolis which again, was okay… It was way too hard, my ice cream had melted, and the cream filling was wayyyy too sweet… I’m not sure if I’ll go back but if I do its not for the food…

Came in on a weeknight and got a great welcome. We were seated promptly — the waiter was very attentive. Table bread was placed on the table. They were little chewy squares with an oil dip on the side — BIGPASS! Cocktails were great as were the appetizers. My entrée was the Chicken Fiamma with a side of penne — OK, but I wouldn’t order it again. Being their«special,» I thought it’d be better… It was fine — nothing more. Another person in my party ordered the Salmon with chopped shrimp and calamari(another house special). He liked it(and the vegetables) very much. Very tasty. Another person in my party ordered the shrimp scampi over risotto. The problem was the risotto absorbed all the sauce — she wasn’t crazy about it and personally, it didn’t look very desirable. For dessert, the chocolate lava cake was awesome — hot and gouey — decadence . I’m a big fan of good service so overall, this place was great. I’d be interested in trying other entrees however. Maybe a brick oven pizza and pasta. I’ll be back!

We went here for a late dinner because we waited at Bourbon Street, just up the road for 35 minutes. The place has a modern feel to it. It was not crowded. We sat at the bar. Camille and Louis were both taking care of us. They were both great. We were in a rush as we waited too long at Bourbon Street and had to be out by 9pm because of time on the meter and we wanted to get home. The took our orders: fried calamari and linguine with clam sauce. Both were very good, just wish that we had a little bit larger serving as the fried calamari was $ 12 and the linguine was $ 17. I asked about checking in with Unilocal and getting free dessert. They gave us the tiramisu. It was really good. Frank the general manager came by to check on us. He was very nice. Overall a very good dining experience. And we got out just in time as the meter expired.

Thanks for making my egg and pizza dreams come true ‚) . Also love the pasta. Very fresh, and even though they don’t drown it in sauce(which i wish they would) it still packs flavor. I do wish they would have other meat options for their pasta besides pork.(When delivering online)

I’m pretty stingy with 5 stars. However, this was close. I bet it gets 5 stars after next time. We had rice balls and calamari to share(group of 4) good enough portion to share. We also shared sangria. Good as well. My wife had a shrimp Caesar salad, one friend had a salad as well. 2 of us had the prosutto and spinach rollatini. Everything I tried was good. Service was good as well. Want to go back and try their pizza then I will update this.

Dont miss out on Fiamma!!! I have a cardinal rule to never go out to eat on bell because you over pay for basic mediocre food. However I have two exceptions. press & fiamma. I love italian food. Fiamma does everything right. Its visually pleasing, very trendy, and there food is awesome. They have a large selection. Everything is so tasty. You are satisfied from the minute you sit down till the second you leave. You’ll find you cant stop yourself from finishing the bread basket maybe even 2. Good drinks(I usually order sangria). You can order tradiational dishes or apps/pizzas.Whatever you get you wont be dissapointed. When ordering desert do yourself the favor, you can oder nutella pizza anywhere, save that for somewhere else and order the smores zeppole. Its amazing!!! Its fairly priced & spacious. Good service. Its the perfect resturant to feel casual and laid back but still get the sense that your going out for a nice dinner.

Great experience visiting this place on date night! You can find parking at the municipal lot next to the building and the staff is very welcoming and pleasant to deal with. The Brava pizza is to die for!

This place is serious… very…very…serious. I just went there for the first time and can’t wait to go back and try the 10 things i saw on the menu that I felt like i had to have. For me what sets this place apart from the rest? Not the amazingly delicate(but still with substance) fresh mozz brick oven pizza, but HOMEMADEPASTA. I can’t say enough about the difference between homemade and pre made pasta… and its rare that restaurants(even really good italian restaurants) have real homemade pasta… welll this place does, and they do it right. Like i said before i can’t wait to go back but from my first and only trip there I can verify that the good things you may have heard about this place are all true. HOWEVER to say one thing that may sound negative but i don’t mean it to be is next time i go there i will order my pizza crispy or well done. In my opinion(and i could be wrong) another 5 minutes in the oven would have been better. SALUD!!!

Love this place, great food and good delivery. The seafood pastas are excellent. The appetizers that I have ordered in the past were also delicious. My only negative comment is that when ever my partner and I order something that requires bread I. e baked clams covered in lemony olive oil goodness. I never get bread with my deliveries. Please try and do that it is absolutely our only complaint. 42 – 20 Bell Blvd

We had dinner here the weekend of our wedding and I left very satisfied and looking forward to our next visit! It was a very stormy night, so most of us were late to our reservation but the staff was so accomodating which I really appreciated. They continued to bring over fresh bread and checked on us constantly. After about 45 minutes our entire party arrived and we were ready to eat! We split a couple of orders of the rice balls and the spinach ones were so delicious. I loved them so much and couldn’t help but eat my share and most of my husband’s as well. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Though, it didn’t all arrive at the table at once and that is my biggest pet peeve ever at a restaurant. My husband’s pizza arrived almost 20 minutes after my pasta. It was all over the place. My husband loved his pizza and the portion was huge. 2 people can certainly split a pie. I had the orchiette alla vodka and it was excellent. I love the pasta choice because it held the sauce so well! And I was very happy to have the fresh foccacia to use as a shovel to pour more sauce into my pie hole. It was excellent. The cappuccinos were superb and the Nutella smores stuffed zeppole was just insane. It was more like a fried calzone and it was crazy good. Service was good, portions were large, and prices were very reasonable. I think I see a date night in my future…

Beautiful restaurant, great service, BUT the food was honestly not great. We went for the lunch special. I got the sausage, peppers, and onions panini. It had no flavor, and it tasted like legit plain tomato sauce. My friends got the Fettuccine Della Domenica, the chicken parm panini, and Rigatoni Alla Vodka. The Fettuccine Della Domenica was legit spaghetti and meatballs. the pasta sauce had no flavor, tasted like straight up tomato sauce from a can. The chicken parm panini was actually the best out of all the dishes; the chicken was crispy, and the tomato sauce complimented the chicken. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was toooo salty. The pasta was also undercooked, so it was a bit hard. I would’ve given this place 1 star, but the service was great. The waiters were very attentive and were all smiles. Maybe I’ll come back to try other things…

*Delicious Food *Great Service *Great atmosphere *Good prices The food and desserts are uniquely delicious. The dough and bread that they use in the pizza is fresh and perfectly baked. This is so far our favorite pizza. When we visit from our hometown in Texas this is a must stop restaurant for us.

If Italian pasta sauce has become sweet since I was a kid growing up in NYC in the 80’s, then this sauce is old school. Very garlicky, almost zesty. Not even a faint overtone of sweetness. Thick and robust. Dynamic flavor. This place has great sauce. Ever since the closing of Monte’s Venetian Room in Brooklyn, I’ve been looking for good sauce places. I don’t think I’ll ever find a true replacement for Monte’s, but Fiamma 41 definitely has a strong real old-school Italian pasta tomato sauce which definitely scratches that particular itch. Lasagna B+ A nice lasagna. I think I would’ve liked a little more meat filling and a little more cheese on top. However, I’m giving it a B+(slightly above average) due to the savory tomato sauce. Fried Raviolli: B– A bit bland. I think this dish would work better as a non-cheese raviolli dish. Thankfully they have that wonderful sauce to dip in. The dish sounded intriguing, but I’m not 100% sure that I wouldn’t have preferred non-fried ravioli and sauce. Chicken Parmesan: A– Breaded chicken breasts with grated mozzarella, served over a bed of spaghetti. Same sauce I previously mentioned. I would’ve liked to have seen a little more mozzarella on top, and perhaps a little burnt mozzarella crust. One of our chicken breasts had no cheese on it. Despite these shortcomings, the dish was still jaw droppingly delicious and could’ve easily have been an A had there been more cheese and burnt mozzarella crust.

The service is incredible. The food can be improved, but overall a great italian spot! I came here with my 7 month old nephew and our waiter was extremely accommodating to the baby. Even when he was crying, our waiter came over to ask if everything was okay and whether he could do something to help. He also offered a kid’s menu, a highchair and a baby sipping cup. STARWAITER The pita bread and oil that comes complimentary to your meal was already a good start. We ordered mussels in white wine sauce. Delicious. Used the leftover pita bread to soak up the yummy sauce. Got a beet salad which was basic and not impressive. My fault for ordering salad though. My sister got penne with zucchini and shrimp. It was also very basic and bland. Could have used more seasoning. It didn’t have any wow factor. Next time I come here, I will definitely try the pizza. We saw the wood fired pizza oven in the back so that’s something we need to come back for. They have an extensive menu, but I wouldn’t recommend anything around the salad area.

Was here last week with the family during brunch. I love the wood fire oven and spaciousness of Fiamma. The servers are all friendly and serviceable. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts for 4 people. Rice balls Fried Calamari Italia Pizza Chicken Parmesan Nutella Crêpe Peanut Butter Tartufo It was just the right amount of food and all was good, exactly what you would expect, hence the A-OK rating. The only thing is to check the menus because I find that pricing varies depending on the time of day. We ordered the Italia Pizza off of the Brunch Menu($ 12) but the same item is listed on the dinner menu at $ 16. We were billed for the dinner price even though we were there for brunch and the discrepancy was adjusted when made aware to our server. Look over the menus carefully and make sure that what you want to order isn’t listed on a separate menu at a lower price. The pizza was good for $ 12 but not good enough at $ 16 given the size and taste. The nutella crêpe comes with fresh sliced strawberries which is a nice touch only the berries weren’t ripe and the tartness had us eating the crêpe on its own with vanilla ice cream & whip cream. Would definitely recommend. The peanut butter tartufo is the only thing I wouldn’t recommend. It was extremely sugary sweet, almost like they had taken a good peanut butter ice cream and injected it with extra sugar because I felt like I could literally taste the crystals. If it’s cooler out, sit closer to the inside of the restaurant or your food may get cold. We did ask our server to reheat our pizza which he was kind enough to do. Nice to have a family friendly spot in the neighborhood for casual dining.

I always pass this place when I’m around bell and decided to give it a try. I must say I have been missing out. Once entered we were greeted with such a friendly staff who were very helpful on picking a selection on the menu. I had the calamari and fresh mozzarella & tomato, both were simple but scrumptious. I also had a long island and it wasn’t watered down as the other places around the neighbourhood. What really caught my attention is how spacious, clean, and open the area is. Really great place to stop by with some friends. For the price and quality this place definitely does deliver! I’m definitely coming back to try out some of there«famous» pizza!

Stopped here for a few birthday happy hour drinks with a friend, and I will definitely be back! We sat at the bar, I believe our bartenders name was Mike. He was nice and made good cosmos,($ 5 for happy hour!) and gave my friend one on the house for her birthday. We ordered calamari and rice balls only because I kept seeing people write about them on Unilocal. They were OKAY. The calamari was decent, but the real star of the show was the bread. We must have had like four orders, it was ridiculous. And if the bread was that good I can only imagine how good the pizza is. It’s a cute restaurant, it was a nice day so the front doors were open. We met one of the managers who was super friendly also. I think his name was Frank, and I feel bad because I promised I’d remember his name lol Anyway, I’d def recommend, and I’ll be back to try the pizza!

New Neighborhood Gem I had to try this place because it was featured on NY1 to have a champion pizza maker manning the oven. The modern décor suggests a swanky sports bar/lounge. I tried the Quatro Gusti, the Fiamma Rice Balls, and the Chicken Parmesan. The Fiamma Rice Balls were good and somehow reminded me of pizza flavor combo snacks. They might have been slightly under-cooked because I didn’t really get the ooey gooey cheesy factor I was expecting. The Chicken Parmesan was among the best I’ve ever had. The marinara was on point, the temperature of the cheese was so hot and so right. The chicken maintained its crispiness, and was fresh and juicy. The pasta was probably the highlight because the yellow noodles were authenticly al dente. First, I thought they were undercooked but the warm chicken on top cooked the noodles to a perfect consistency. I suggest waiting a few minutes before digging in so the noodles can cook and the chicken can cool enough so it won’t burn your mouth. The Quatro Gusti was a good sampler that allows you to taste the different pizzas they offer. I liked every flavor but the traditional Margherita was the standout character among the rest of the cast. The crust was like no other crust I’ve ever had. It was extremely chewy and had layers almost like that of a good Indian Naan bread but it was yeasty like a bangin’ bagel. I loved the crust and I didn’t want to leave any pieces of crust behind. I just wish it was slightly more crispy. The only complaint I have is that the service was spotty. Our young waiter was friendly but not attentive. It took forever to get the check after we requested it. Finally, we didn’t receive the complimentary bread that every other diner had on their tables. I’d definitely come back for the Margherita pizza and the chicken parm.

I first visited Fiamma for a Unilocal event that was super great… so needed to go back! Great spot, cool dim lighting, full bar, wood fire oven, seating at the bar and plenty of tables, music pump’in through the restaurant. We’re greeted by frank who makes some recommendation and informs us… they now have an international pizza making champ fire’in up the pizza! That can only mean one thing… YUMMMMM! Great menu… lots of apps, like bruschetta, mussels, caprese, and our choices calamari, fried ravioli and mini rice balls filled with fresh mozzarella and Bolognese sauce… all with a side of marinara… so delicious… all have a great homemade taste! Pizza menu includes the white pizza, sausage with fresh mozzarella, and caesar salad pie, but its made fresh so create your own and go crazy with the toppings like meatballs, caramelized onions, and buffalo mozzarella. We had as recommended by Frank… the cuatro guste four types of pizza on one pie… pesto and sun dried tomato(DELISH), margarita(DELISH), fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and mushrooms(DELISH), and broccoli rabe, fresh mozzarella and sausage(good, but I’m not a broccoli rabe kinda gal). They also serve entrees like chicken parm, steak, salmon, chicken franchese, and pasta like linguini, spaghetti, and ala vodka. They have lunch specials, Tuesday is pasta night, and sat and sun brunch… brunch has bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, and screw drivers… so I’m going to a trip back for that!!! Dessert is insane at this place… amaretto cheesecake, cannoli’s, and the grand supreme… S’MORESNUTELLAPIZZA!!! Because its a wood fire oven, marshmallows on the nutella pizza taste like fresh roasted over an open fire!(is that a song?) Anywho… this pizza might make you wanna sing!!! Our waiter, young dude, was very friendly and welcoming! Gave us recommendations and knew his stuff! I think it was John. The waitress for the table next to us seemed angry… I got the angry vibes and she wasn’t even serving us… maybe because it was before closing and she needed us to hurry up!!! Either way… chill out girl!!! We had long island ice teas from the bar… more yumminess… cheers!!! Not sure if this review is long enough… but you get it… rite? I love this spot… if your looking for some real Italian stuff… try this spot. Shout out to Frank… friendly dude!
