This place isn’t easy to see despite the red sign, amongst all the other nail salons, restaurants and other stores on Bell Blvd. I decided to give this place a try since I didn’t like the other place a few minutes down. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the workers and instantly asked what service I needed. I didn’t have to wait long which was great since I have no patience when it comes to waiting for my turn. They had a good selection of colors for color gel, many with matching regular polish so that my feet could match my fingers. I like to get the color gel on my fingers and regular polish on my toe nails since it tends to stay on longer. I was pretty much satisfied with the selection. Pedicure was done first so that it can dry while they do my fingernails. One lady sat me down at her table and began to do the work. Throughout the session, she had such a caring attitude. She told me that if anything goes wrong with my color gel within a few days, just come back and she’ll fix it for me. It took a little longer compared to when I get it done at other nail salons, but I noticed that she did it very carefully. Other places that I had been to scraped off my nail so much that it hurt and sometimes even left tiny cuts around the nail bed. Overall, my fingers looked great and no cuts was a definite plus! I’ll see how long it lasts, but the way she took care of my nails, I’m sure I’ll be returning!

Horrible service. Do not honor their own gift certificates. Lazy people. Poor attitudes. Do not go here.

New management has ruined this little salon. I will not be returning. Rude and pushy staff. Will do what they want not what you ask.

I discovered this nail salon one Sunday when I needed my nails done for an event and no other place in Bayside was open. The décor is a bit dated and the walls and moldings could use a paint job but the staff is very friendly and the pedicure chairs work very well(a lot of massage options). I’ve lived in Bayside for nearly 10 years and this is the first salon that I’ve found that doesn’t seem to dilute the polish. My polish from 5 days ago is still going strong. I gave it 4 stars because of the décor — a simple paint job would go a long way in this place — but otherwise would highly recommend and likely won’t go elsewhere at this point. Parking is a little rough but where on or near Bell Blvd is it not.

Pros: Service is promising, a little bit more than your typical nalon. Their management changed a year ago and they’ve really upped the place. They finally got rid of the carpet floors which I love and Choi’s daughter even painted the store with lovely floral decorations. If you want a spa go their because you’ll get massages from an actually certified employee and both new workers Choi and Ahn have worked in the salon industry for more than 20+ years. Their store is in the middle of many Italian/Irish restaurants, from steak, pizza, burgers to all kinds of desserts; I really recommend Donavan’s steak house across from them, their food is very appetizing. Cons: There is obviously a language barrier but I found everyone quite humorous, not in an offensive way, and it was overall a cozy experience. The cigar lounge is may be the only problem because they keep their doors open during the spring and fall and the smell reaches the place at times.
