The absolute best pizza I’ve ever had. The meals are great too. Can’t resist getting 2 pies with some garlic bread and birch beer. Great prices and food.

A classic neighborhood spot that I’ve been coming to since I was a little girl! Delicious homemade Italian food. Great portions I always leave stuffed! Go on a Thursday and get a meal with salad, drink, bread, and pasta all for $ 8. WHAT A DEAL!!!

This place was awful. Of all the Italian spots in Bayonne this was, so far, the worst. I ordered fried calamari which is pretty simple. It was burnt to the point where it did not even taste like there was any calamari left… just burnt breading. I ordered mussels in wine butter and garlic… it was the tiniest mussels I had ever seen in oil with minced garlic from a jar thrown on top. The garlic bread with mozzarella was six slices of bread with oil garlic and moz instead of a loaf. Now I did order chicken francese and the garlic bread which was at best ok. The mussels and calamari were inedible. This is the first review I have ever written on a restaurant period… good, bad, or whatever but I felt the need to warn others. I got sucked in because of some of their menu options seeming different but they were truly terrible, I actually just joined Unilocal to warn people about this horrible place. The reviews on here are one of the reasons I decided to try it and I felt like they are doing you a disservice.

A classic in Bayonne, really a local’s spot. With so many good pizza places in the neighborhood, let alone the city, this place goes often overlooked. But at the end of the day, they serve a decently priced, classic thin crust pizza that would be the best in town for many major cities throughout the USA.

Small order of mussells marinara just right. Thin crust pie was perfect. We sat at a table and actually prefer the dim lighting and privacy of the booths with full-size backboards. Not too many places like this around anymore, go and enjoy.

See, you gotta either like thin-crust pizza or not, because Naples doesn’t fool around with crusts that can support the weight of toppings. The cheese is actually used to create the weight of the pie, and the crust is merely a guide or outline. Which is to say, if you like thin-crust pizza, then put Naples at the top of your speed-dial. If you don’t, try San Vito’s or Joe’s. Oh, if you do eat-in, you’ll get your pick of tables because walk-up traffic is light, and don’t bother dressing up or bringing someone to impress, unless you want to impress them with how you can eat in such dingy surroundings. Then you’d be impressive. –C
