Absolutely wonderful! There were so many books I could have spent forever looking at all of them. They had a wonderful assortment of old books in very good condition stacked full on shelves that almost reached the ceiling. It was wonderful and definitely worth checking out!

I wish I could have spent all day here. Everything I saw was in good condition, well organized, and I loved browsing through the shelves. The books I purchased were a little on the pricy side, but good quality and worth the cost(a bibliography of Tudor-Stuart English history — with annotations from the original owner in French? Yes, please!). Things I’m sure I couldn’t get anywhere else!

A very nice little bookshop in this town on Lake Superior that is a gateway to the Apostle Islands. This is the way used bookstores should be, clean, well-lit, a decent selection nicely arranged despite limited space, classical music playing in the background. The kind of place that defines browsing. Used books seem to be in generally nice condition, and reasonably priced. There are also several new titles of regional interest. Good section on the Great Lakes area. Some first editions and classic old volumes — I saw an 1867 edition of Gray’s Manual of Botany in good condition. Friendly staff and a public bathroom! This is an asset to the charming town of Bayfield and well worth a browse if you are in the area.
