Nice quiet bookstore on the Main Street. Nice selection of local and interesting subjects. Some titles I have not seen in Barnes and Nobles. Nice books for reading on those dreary days or quiet afternoons.

I remember seeing reviews for this bookstore before we went up to Bayfield. I thought «Really? A Bookstore with five stars?» I laughed.
Then while we were up there — we were walking up the street and checking out shops and saw the book store and decided to stop in.
To my surprise, it was a really nice little book store with a really good selection of books. I found a book in fact in the window as I walked in and we considered buying several others.
The guy at the register was super nice too and very friendly. Great atmosphere and a great little place. NOW I see why it got both reviews and 5 stars.

Milwaukee, WI
Lovely little shop run by a couple whose roots to this area, and love for the area, go back several generations. The books and displays are thoughtful, mindful. The whole store has a very calming effect, in keeping with the islands, getting away from it all.
