Came here on a cold winter night. Place was brightly lit and clean. There were no other patrons as the weather was so cold. My friend wanted ice cream so we trekked our way down here after reading good feedbacks on Unilocal.Menu was pretty clear and easy to read. The staff was friendly and smiled at us each time we can’t decide on what flavor to choose. Really liked how they curl the ice cream in front of us, similar to what Cold Stone does. Taste was decent, but very cold. Will come back as there are coupon deals when we «like» them on their webpage

Thai ice cream roll is the new trend of ice cream recently and it has arrived to Bay Ridge. The place is spacious and cute with adequate seating to just linger around and have ice cream. I got the green tea ice cream with red bean topping and condensed milk drizzled over($ 6 plus tax). The green tea ice cream had a strong green tea flavor and a creamy texture but it taste like I was eating those diet version of ice cream. The addition of sweet red bean and sweet condensed milk made the bland green tea ice cream taste much better.

My daughter has been coming home with good grades so I took her out for a small treat. I intended to take her to Little Cupcake, but instead, the pink logo right next door caught her eye. So why not? We were in for a surprise! Thai rolled icecream… in Bay Ridge? Yes, yes, YES! No need to travel all the way to the city for this. Kay was super excited. Not only can she choose what combination she wanted, but she watched how her ice cream was made. Fascinated by the fresh blueberries being smashed up on the cold metal plate, neatly smeared into a thin layer, and then slowly rolled up into perfect rolls of fresh ice cream made right in front of her eyes. Despite the X amount of times her little head hit that glass counter, the patience paid off(5 minutes). Fresh, nothing beats that. Smooth texture, the ripe fruit was a plus. It also looked amazing. For the first time she actually wanted to take a picture before digging in. There’s a ton of new, yet fun, things popping up in Bay Ridge, 91Fried Ice Yogurt is definitely a place you guys should stop by when in the area.

We’re hooked on the taro with red bean and condensed milk. It’s cool to watch them make the ice cream from scratch too

Fun place for kids. Not sure why they call it «fried» when is not… They take cream /yogurt and mash it with fresh fruit on a frozen plate and when it freezes they turn it into ice cream rolls — quite yummy. There’s a similar place in Manhattan –10below but this place offers yogurt.

The fruit in their ice cream are real fruit that they mash up and mix in right in front of you. The taste is bursting with flavor. You can mix and match so many different toppings. Love my first experience and will go to again. Its also really fun watching them make it. They use some sort of freezing plate go from a liquid to its finished product. An example of their style is shown here:
