Prices went up for a quart of pre packed ice cream it’s now $ 9.59 that’s a $ 2.00 increase from a few months ago; also prices for the signature creations went up as well. The staff is slow and forgetful but just remember your dealing with teenagers, other than that it’s an good place to get ice cream.

Local teen hangout spot. Service is slow inside and depending on who you get, rude. I’ve been to better locations, especially the spot in Sheepshead. Forget this spot in Bay Ridge.

Went 4 days ahead of time to order a cake for my birthday, which is tomorrow. When my wife went to pick it up, guess what… no cake! Somehow, the order — a receipt for which we were given — was lost. Then, they tried to whip one up from memory as she was waiting. Needless to say, she told them to keep the cake and asked for a refund, which they were reluctant to give her but finally did.
Not a way to do business.

I have always liked Cold Stone and I come in and get the same thing every time which is chocolate devotion. The same guy is in there every time I come in and he is very friendly which is why I go back whenever I go around the Bay Ridge area. I can’t say much else about this place besides if you like ice cream and know what you want stop by!

I came here after a wedding to grab some dessert.
I like that this place is open late, but service is really slow. Only one person serving and one person doing the register. It took a while to get my ice cream.
I got myself an oreo cream filling ice cream. It was good. Definitely tastes like oreos.
There were a lot of customers there as all the tables were filled. Hurry up and order. Get lucky with a table.
Suggest you don’t take your car since its some what difficult to find street parking close to this Cold Stone.

The ice cream was good, although I can see they did skimp on the toppings compared to other cold stones I’ve been to. Service isn’t too bad depending on who serves you I suppose, some welcome you warmly others look miserable being working there.

Pretty standard Cold Stone location. I typically have been here during the afternoon, where its basically empty. Very easy to make a selection, place your order, and be gone. The last two times were at night, and the place was jam packed. Not enough staff to move the line fast enough or to help clean the tables. By the time you reach the register, your ice cream is half-​melted.

Great service here! My husband and I walked in and were immediately greeted and asked if we were here for a father’s day cake (we weren’t).
We got instead the cheesecake ice cream in a waffle cone with strawberries as our free topping. The guy behind the counter then goes to work with two flat scoopers, mixing and shaping the ice cream. He was patient when I couldnt decide what topping I wanted, and very appreciative of the tip I gave.
Nice atmosphere, clean place, good work ethos here. Highly reccomend Cold Stone for your next cold treat!

I love cold stone and from time to time I like to indulge. I always get the mud pie mojo, it has coffee ice cream, peanut butter, & oreos! Such a great combination giving it a delicious flavor. No complaints about the service either, the staff are always nice.
You can order cakes online now too!

Got a oreo ice cream cake from here a couple of days ago and it wasn’t as good as the one I bought in September. The oreos were kind of stale and the cake itself wasn’t as good. I’m disappointed :(

Dunno why this place has such low rating. It is an ice-​cream shop and the ice-​cream is pretty damn good. They always fill up my cup all the way, never had an attitude from anyone working there. Yea it is pricier then junky ice cream like Baskin Robbins. But it is tastier, doesn’t have the artificial flavoring /​preservative flavor that you get from Baskin Robbin. No, there does not have to be ample seating– it is an ICE-​CREAM SHOP. Take your ice-​cream and walk, that is what you do with ice-​cream anyway. Yes, it is going to be full of annoying kids and teenagers. Again, it is a ICE-​CREAM SHOP.
You haters can stay away. More ice-​cream for me.

Clean, fast and friendly. The ice cream looks like baby vomit, but I love it! Lol

We have been to this Cold Stone Creamery twice and both times we very much enjoyed the ice cream and the service. For those new to Cold Stone, it is like Steve’s in Cambridge, MA in the 1970’s where I believe the mix-​ins concept originated.
Tonight when we first arrived, we asked to use the bathroom. The girl working behind the counter said they did not have a bathroom I said, c’mon, you have to have one for the employees it’s a law, she smiled and said yes they do. I appreciated her honesty. She then laughed when we asked if you could work there for 10 minutes. But this was not her policy, so we did not hold it against her. Instead we went to the very nice coffee café (I forgot the name) next door, which is very friendly and more generous with their bathroom.
We then returned to the creamery to split a cup completely filled with two huge scoops of excellent coffee and banana ice cream that the same girl with whom we had originally spoken allowed us to have with separate mix-​ins.
I am sorry that some of the other reviewers have had different experiences but we have had two great experiences and two great desserts at this Cold Stone Creamery.

Wow… I didn’t expect coldstone to get such low ratings. It’s an average place but it’s not that bad. Not really overpriced if you compare to other ice cream shops. I love their red velvet ice cream cake. They now have that 8 layer or 10 layer cake which is pretty good as well. Sign up for their birthday club and you get a free medium size one… it use to be a larger size. Hm… that’s about it for this place. I love how you can pick which toppings you want.

Yay! Ice cream on a cold plate mushed with chocolate chips (never again, it’s a bad combo). Strawberry and cheesecake. Waffle cup. I saw the guy making the waffle and putting it into the cups to harden, haha.
A bit pricey. Very stuffing. It made me feel so fat.

The ice cream are pretty pricey and they don’t fill it up fully. The ice cream cake has nothing particularly special to it. There are a few tables and chairs there. Overall, it is only worth it if you try their specials.
