Waiting in a line that goes across the store. Only 3 lines open… this is stupid!!! Three cashiers on a Sunday night. Walmart is supposed to be closing stores… this could be a clue about why they aren’t doing so well. All self checkout lines are shut down. Perhaps if people didn’t wait for over 30 min in line people wouldn’t despise coming here.

The worst customer service experience ever. The deli representatives love to ignore you. The store manager seems to have given up and is just coasting instead of resolving issues.

The Wal-Mart pharmacy here has good customer service. Usually I go through the drive thru and the lines on most days move at a constant pace. I have not had an issue with any of my medications being incorrect. A+

The concrete walls and floors, bad florescent lighting, grumpy cashiers, and fruit and veggies trucked in from all over the world(not much in the way of locally grown for sale here at all) here depress me. I understand the appeal. It’s CHEAP. I might shop here for basic items like organic yogurt, organic milk, organic juice, local beer, etc. But will I do the majority of my grocery shopping here? No. You know why? Because this place gives me the creeps. Just walk around the fruit and veggie section. Have a look at the labels on items. See those pineapples there? Product of Costa Rica. See the clementines? Product of South Africa. Bananas? Philippines. The strawberries? Yup, you guessed it: Mexico. While Americans may get their groceries for cheap at Walmart, they are doing nearly NOTHING for their community shopping there. Your money is going into the hands of Costa Ricans, South Africans, Mexicans, etc etc etc. So even though Walmart may be giving you the lowest price possible, none of that money is going back into your community. I’d much rather shop at Whole Foods where they support local farms and businesses so that the money can benefit my community and the local economy.
