Three Bones Food Truck

I visited their truck at food truck wroundup a couple of weeks ago and was sure to hit up their brisket burger, because I knew last time they ran out — I didn’t miss out and I wasn’t disappointed. Whoa is this burger awesome! It’s a lot happening because its a combo brisket/​beef patty but the juiciness of this burger is unparalled. You’ll be licking the drippings from your fingers and arms when you’re done — and no one who knows better will judge you for it. Oh, and there’s homemade pickles on the burger which makes it EVEN better, as homemade pickles make EVERYTHING better.
Even though the brisket burger is the star, don’t skip the onion rings. Crispy, delicious, and the sauce served with them is perfection. After eating all this deliciousness, you’ll need to forget about eating for the next 24 hours, but its so beyond worth it! GO FIND THEM!

I must say, the loaded brisket fries was pretty darn good. Big chunks of brisket over fries, yum.
However, the BLT was lacking. the bacon was awesome, but the french bread that was housing these beauties were not up to par.
Can’t wait to see what else they have to offer.

The fact that I am writing this review as I am eating the food I just got from here can only mean 2 things — it was either awesome or it was pathetic. lol!
I had been seeing them almost daily in downtown baton rouge and for some reason never tried them before. Today was the day — it was a bit of a wait, but the truck is manned just by Jennie and one more person.
$ 10.00 for a HUGE grilled Shrimp Po-​boy, an enormous side of fries and a can of coke. MONEY! I went for the Drina’s Feelgood poboy — grilled shrimp, white remoulade (low fat), wheat bun and the usual dressings. Let me just say — every bite is worth it! :) Everything is fresh, made the same day and delish! The fries are good too. Could use a bit more cajun seasoning, but good nonetheless.
My only gripe — Most of their menu items have red meat in them — I would love to see a veggie option or even some more chicken stuff.
They don’t accept AmEx and have free refills on the sweet tea! Whats not to love here my friends? :)
