I can’t find any useful information on this truck. Their website has been a work in progress for over a year now. Does this truck even exist? Can anyone enlighten me?

Love the burgers, love the concept, but the people in charge are always rude.

The KGB burger is awesome! I get it without the egg because I hate eggs. But the bacon is the best bacon I’ve ever had and they put a lot on the burger. Because they use grass-fed beef, the burger itself is so flavorful. I crave these burgers almost daily. The only downside is that they are hard to find! They aren’t always at the Roundup. We’ve gone to the roundup 3 separate times seeking a burger and they weren’t there so we left really disappointed. I wish they would update their Facebook page with their location so that we can get these burgers more. If you can find them, OMG are they amazing!

One decent burger! I walked past the curbside food truck downtown maybe a dozen times before deciding that I needed to take the plunge. I certainly did not regret my decision. The burger had some good seasoning and actually tasted like high quality meat. I am a major fan of the fact the meat is more naturally raised then fast food alternatives. O… and they take AMEX which is always a boon! The only real reason this place does not get a higher score is that they cannot cook to order. Medium/Medium-well is how they prepare them(with the option for well-done). I don’t hold this against the place, but I simply need my burger cooked a bit more red and juicy in the middle! Check this place out when you are looking for a far better(and healthier) alternative to fast-food burger and fries.

After living in Baton Rouge for six years, I think I’ve finally had a chance to try all of the places around town that are typically called the«best» places for a burger. Friends, I am here to tell you that you will find no better burger in this town than the one that is served out of the side of this truck. You have a choice of several«usual suspects» that are always on the menu, plus a series of rotating specials. I’ve yet to try one that hasn’t been exceptional. All of the ingredients are sourced locally, and as a result are tremendously fresh and tasty. The buns are phenomenal. The beef seems(to me) to have a perfect balance of fat content — giving you just enough grease to leave utterly satisfied, but not crossing the line. And if you like bacon on your burger, you simply cannot afford to pass on a burger with the Pork Belly Preserves. The name may sound unappealing, but it’s the most delicious smoky, porky, bacon-y condiment you’ll ever try. If you’re afraid of the whole food truck experience, don’t be. The folks that work inside are always super-friendly and willing to help you understand the menu. Want to make a change or a substitution(I recommend, «add Pork Belly Preserves»)? No problem, they will oblige with a smile. I really hope these folks thrive, because it’s one of the true culinary gems of Baton Rouge.

Have you had your KGB today? Best fries ever. Fresh, local, and cooked right. Rotating specials. Can’t go wrong with a Brian Burger or a KGB

I have been wanting to try their burger. They happened to be in downtown yesterday so of course I ordered a burger there for lunch. I had the KGB(the one with fried egg). I am not a big fan of burgers but omg it is one of the best burgers I have ever had.(PS: I like burgers at Fleming’s and Five Guys also.) The egg york was not fully cooked so when I bit, egg york came out and spread all over. It made the burger sooo juicy! Price is not bad. Only $ 8 for this superior quality. Nowhere can beat that. Plus, the wait was not bad. I had like 4 – 5 people ahead of me waiting. My burger came out in 5 – 6 mins. I’m so looking forward to trying their other burger next time.

Without a doubt, these are the best burgers I have ever had. Get a KGB(fried egg on top!) and you will be in heaven! Go ahead and get the fries and an Arnold Palmer while you’re there and you will love every minute of your lunch!

I don’t think I could have visited Baton Rouge on a better day: Wednesday. I didn’t really want to ruin my Cajun food virginity in a college town, but rather wanted to hold it off until I got to experience the real Cajun grub in the Big Easy. Instead, I saw a few eateries that I wanted to check out, and none of them boasted Louisiana fare. I mean… a burger served out of a mobile eatery? It pretty much just sums up all things NOT simple and country. I mean, they tweet where and what they are going to be serving, for crying out loud. You pretty much won’t be able to eat at Curbside without a mobile device! Having seen this on TV, I was really excited to indulge in their«bacon preserves.» As I walked up to the trailer, I saw a «sold out» marked across one of their burgers. I freaked out, but then I saw that it was actually their truffle burger. I actually may have considered ordering the $ 18 behemoth, but unfortunately, it was indeed sold out. Luckily, my actual first choice was good to be eaten. The«Brian’s Burger» boasts cheddar, tomato, lettuce, and housemade pickles! So, what is special? BACONPRESERVES. I watched them make this on TV, and it blew my mind. They basically cook down bacon and other assorted ingredients into this sloppy, gross looking mess. But, goodness gracious, this salty, savory, meaty, complex mush(which sort of reminds me of «sloppy joe mix») meshes perfectly with the beef, which I ordered medium rare. Not much more explanation needed. If you live in BR, come get you some. Bacon preserves are even on sale for $ 13, but I would recommend you just get it slapped onto yo’ burga’. ASAP. Follow them, hunt them down, and go to town.

So delicious! The K.G.B. is so yummy there is no need for condiments. And the fries are so skinny and crunchy. Wonderful!

On my last review, I recommended trying the specialty fries. Well, I finally tried them. The Weimer fries are the best flavored fries I have ever had. They had garlic, a heap of parmesan cheese, and a hit of truffle oil that gave it an outstanding aroma. Once again, I ordered the Brian burger. It was good. Normally gourmet fries and burgers don’t come from food trucks. This is as good as you could ask for in downtown Baton Rouge.

A STELLAR performance by Curbside Burgers! Curbside is a mobile food truck that specializes in Gourmet Burgers and Fries! Concept is simple but they go at it 180% and it shows! The buns are baked fresh, homemade pickles, sausage and PORKBELLY preserve. This truck is REAL through and through. I enjoyed the Brian Burger for my first experience. The burger was a single hand formed patty with American Cheese, L.T.P(lettuce, tomato, pickle), and PORKBELLY preserve on top. When I tell you that i heard ANGELS singing… I did! It was an amazing burger experience and I cannot wait to meet up with them again and try their next creation! Find them on Face book, follow and see where they will post up for that day and then get to them as fast as you can… it is worth it!

Great food truck! I grabbed a burger after the LSU Bama game and it was the perfect thing to put me in an over the top great mood — an incredible win AND great burger… I don’t think it gets better than that! I had heard about the burgers from my brother, who raved about them, and had been wanting to get over there to try one. It totally lived up to the hype. Some of the toppings may be unfamiliar to you, but Nick(the owner/cook) is awesome and will explain them happily. I had the burger with pork belly preserves and a fried egg — I’m a sucker for pretty much anything topped with a fried egg — plus some homemade pickles, all on what I believe was a homemade bun. The brother swears by the praline bacon and I’ll be trying that out next time! I heard a rumor there might be an expansion into Nola soon so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
