Brew-Bacher’s Grill

Not a fan. Tad overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. A couple of times I’ve been here it’s been so so. Then the last time I went I got a cali club; the girl that took my order was a bit rude, and they forgot the bacon and used what looked like days old avocado on my sammich.
Haven’t been back since. Nostalgia keeps this place afloat, it seems.

I was once told by a very wise man while ordering a steak at a seafood restaurant… «when at a seafood restaurant order seafood, when at a steakhouse order steak, when at an Italian restaurant order Italian «. This is a grill and the Best grill in town!!! Awesome grill food and Awesome service! Great Grill atmosphere!

This place is terrible!!! Went in on my lunch break and while I was waiting for my food to come out, a ROACH flew out of nowhere and landed on my shirt. I let the manager know and she came out killed the roach and then went to grab a broom to sweep it up! After sweeping it up, she went back into the kitchen without washing her hands and started making drinks for other customers. She then brought our food out to the counter and I let her know that I wasn’t going to be eating the food because clearly what took place was absolutely disgusting! She refunded our money but at that point our lunch break so we didn’t have time to eat anything else. This place grossed me out. Terrible customer service. Unsanitary!!!

Brewbachers has a very nice setting. The food is very good. I especially like the taco salad but I get it with no olives. One thing they also have been very very good is there soup they have a crab soup that is amazing. Now the wait staff is to what you expect nice but not overly nice. But considering they are not going to come to your table often that I are for refills there just a lot to be desired. I guess that’s why I go there for the food.

The food here is good, but recently the service has dropped off as of late. I usually come here once a month and until today my experiences have all been positive. I wouldn’t say today was bad, but the employees don’t seem to want to deal with customers. My checker seemed annoyed to deal with me, throwing a pen across the counter when I was signing my receipt. Not that big of a deal, but at least pretend you don’t hate waiting on me, Claire (not sure that’s her name, it’s what was in the receipt). Then as I sat for my order to be called, I noticed an employee sweeping the floor. She used the same broom to sweep the floor and seats with, there was something so unsettling about watching her sweep the nasty floor and them out the broom all over the booth seats. She did this a few feet from me. Kinda gross. I have to say the service provided by Kasey was outstanding on a previous visit.

First time to stop in here on a Thursday night during happy hour.
Kinda like a neighborhood Cheers type place in the bar and an adequate but a bit mundane looking dining area. You order and pick up the food at the service counter.
Sandwiches are the mainstay here and during our stay here there were tons of to go orders.
Happy Hour is pretty good with $ 4 well and $ 3 beer. Even my local fave Canebreak was $ 3.
We also ordered the wings and have to say, they were very good. Big pieces but not too big and just the right crunch with a bit of zing to them without being scorching hot. I had the wing king with me and he concurred.
Good friendly service too.
We will return to try some of the sandwich fare in the future. Rating could rise but for now stays at 3. The inside space could use a refresh for sure.

Huge disappointment! Had some friends tell they used to eat here all the time and loved it… Obviously it’s been a while since they were there. Atmosphere was dark and felt dirty/​worn out. Service was slow. Prices were on the high side especially considering the poor quality and burgers being way undercooked. We see no need to go back considering the other choices in the area.

Food was decent. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were barely warm. There were more dirty tables that clean tables when we walked in. Maybe another location would’ve acres higher. This one; not so great.

Well the seafood platter was ok except for the shrimp

We frequent this location so in the past I have had mixed emotions about writing a bad review based on service considering there are no servers in this restaurant. However, I placed a take out order this evening and when I went to pick it up i waited in line for about 10 minutes behind a few other people — not a problem. Then I made it up to the counter. Before I could even say anything, Bridgette immediately cut me off and told me she would get to me later because she had to split a check. Then she proceeded to do so for the next 5 minutes at the register in front of me while never even looking at me. Then she walked away from the register, I guess she was done splitting her checks. She disappeared for another 10 minutes. Finally an employee who had just walked in the door greeted me and I was able to leave. I understand restaurants get busy, but there is no excuse for this kind of behavior. She was straight up rude and I’m pissed.

Food is mediocre. Went in the middle of the afternoon — there were many tables which had not been cleared although the diners were long gone. Lots if trash under tables and along the aisles — had to step on and over all of this to be seated. Obviously no sense of pride or concern for appearance. There are many many other great choices for a much better experience.

This place gets no stars, no body here is serve safe certified, their cooks touch plate with hands covered in raw chicken juice

This is my favorite location of Brew-​Bachers! The menu is slightly larger and I was told they are the last to serve potato skins. On my latest trip, I tried the Reuben for a change and was not disappointed! The amount of beef to kraut was perfect, which is my main judgement factor. I also shared some potato skins with a friend and while I know they are not a gourmet item, I just can’t get enough of them. This place doesn’t disappoint when you’re looking for a casual, local spot to meet up with some friends. They’ve been here for a long time and I hope they stay even longer!

I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries with a sweet tea. Free refills on drinks. Is about $ 10
Food was really good. Reminds me of diner food. Good diner food very comfortable atmosphere.

Good grub hole. Especially for kids, teams after a tough game. TVs for current sports.

Decent food and a conscientious location. I visit all the different locations from time to time, but this one more than the others.
Hamburger or catfish are my usual orders. Order from the kids menu to get ²⁄₃ of the food for ½ the price.

Pretty sure I’ve eaten here long, long ago, and went again recently for lunch.
Got a chicken Caesar salad which was a mistake. It was average. This is a burger place and I should have gotten a burger.
Fried okra was good.

Ok food, crappy service

I went here a couple times to watch some LSU games and while that’s not too bad for that purpose the food is very average. The hamburgers are nothing special and the po boys I’ve had are just ok… not bad, just not very good.

Stopped here during a business trip… Nice casual atmosphere, friendly staff. I can see that this would be a great place to come have a beer with friends. They also have plenty of TVs littered around the joint, so I’m sure it’s jumpin’ on game nights as well.
I had the grilled shrimp po-​boy. I don’t know what they did, bit it was the best po-​boy I’ve had while here in Baton Rouge. The bread wasn’t too thick or overwhelming, and it was seasoned just right. I like the way they press-​grilled it to give the bread a nice crunchy texture. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some of their other menu items before my trip is over.
