Myself and a friend stayed here for just one night but we loved simply loved our stay. It was the rainiest of days, but Pam is a great host and showed us around inside and even spent some time talking with us even though she was getting ready for her first inspection. Simply put, the home and grounds are outstanding!!! The breakfast was amazing-we had apple filled french toast with eggs on the side and the freshest of fruit. I haven’t done the B and B thing too many times but this experience would definitely encourage me to do it again. Oh, and the beds were SOOOO comfy-like a cloud!!! Highlights: –SUPER comfy beds. –Property-we didn’t venture to explore cause the rain but this place will immediately relax you. I really wish I lived closer… –Food-Pam can cook. Seriously, my girlfriend is an amazing cook. I think Pam may actually be a better cook… this host has found her calling!!! –Living room is very comfy, they have a gas fireplace that looks like the real deal… on a cold/damp day this is where you want to be reading a nice book. –The Town. Baraboo, WI has a lot going for it. We strongly recommend going on a tour of Al Ringling’s private mansion-we called a week or two in advance and arranged a private tour for $ 10 per person. Make a small donation if you can-this place is great but they are working on restoring it. Also enjoyed the Circus Museum even though it was limited the time of year we went just learning about the history of the circuses in Wisconsin, The Ringling Brothers and seeing all the restored circus wagons is great. There is a lot of other options close or within an hours drive. WIFI(if that is your thing) is the best I had on 8-day trip… I know it’s sad but we are addicted and it was rainy. Can’t endorse this place enough. If I lived closer I don’t know if I would want to spread this word because I would have trouble getting a room. Pam loves what she does and it shows!

This place is delightful! The owners are absolutely wonderful and welcoming, and really pay attention to details. For example, there is a woodstove/fireplace unit in the cottage, and they set up a perfect little starter for the fire so all we had to do was throw in a lit match! They also had great tips on places to go in the area. This is a great place to stay near Devil’s Head Ski Resort. We had a great trip, and will definitely return if we ever make it up to Wisconsin again.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Devil’s Lake State Park. The hosts are wonderful and the breakfast is some of the best I’ve ever had, especially the stuffed french toast. Look no further, stay here.

We were looking for a quiet peaceful bed and breakfast near Baraboo to check out DEVILSLAKE. We made the right decision. Lyle and Marge were hospitable along with their daughter in law, Pam. The breakfasts were wonderful, the scenery was delightful and the home was welcoming. The price was unbeatable. Go take a walk around the land, and you’ll enjoy the scenery of the outdoors.
