Dr Van Dusen and his staff are awesome! Dr Van Dusen is an extraordinary dr he thoroughly explains every step to his exam. He is the only Dr that did not write a prescription right then and there and send me on my way! From not wearing prescription glasses or contacts for sooo long has caused alot of strain and stress on my eyes and in order to get them to calm down to see my true vision he needs me to start with one prescription and give it a week to let my eyes calm down and try to see if it corrects my vision a little and then going to do another exam to adjust the prescription. Where as any other Dr just examines your eyes and writes you a prescription and says come back in a year. Highly recommended office! So extremely satisfied!

I really like Dr. Van Dusen and Pam but the receptionist is horrible. She is very unprofessional and has made me take my business else where. I had a problem in the past with her but I Recently called and was put on «hold» for 5 minutes. I could hear her whole conversation with whoever she was helping. I also don’t believe flip flops are office attire. Would give the doctor a 4.5 stars but the receptionist a zero.

The customer service is horrible. I took my foster child for an eye appointment. I received a reminder call earlier that day. I mentioned to the lady who called that the child now has IEHP as his insurance. She said that’s fine. The receptionist would not accept the child’s IEHP card without the Medi-​Cal card. I went down the street to the Social Services office to get a temporary Medi-​Cal card. While I was gone she told my daughter that if I didn’t return in 15 minutes she would cancel my appointment. It would be nice to get into see the doctor so I could give him a good review.

Nice office. secretary could be a lil friendlier… glasses take awhile to come in. doctor was nice enough. but overall.ok experience. Nothing too fantastic.

This office was able to see me for an eye exam on short notice and get my new glasses before my vacation. The eye drops during the exam did not burn my eyes the way they did at another place. And my glasses fit perfectly with no adjustment. They were very nice and I enjoyed meeting them. I am very pleased.

Have been going here for years and the services is great. Problem i have is that now if you have more then 1 kid you have to make separate appointments for each kid on different days. I have 4 kids so i had to keep going back 4 times just so each kid could be seen… Sorry but this is just crazy and don’t have the time for it…
