We just happened to be in the area and looked on Unilocal for a restaurant. Thai Orchids was listed and we tried it out. The waitress was very friendly and the food was excellent. I would go there again.

If you want the best Thai food I’ve found within a 75 mile radius, this is the place. I have several Asian friends who agree with me. It is in a strip mall in Banning. I’ve tried many others in nearby cities and they just can’t compare. You will find a clean restaurant with friendly help and they will explain everything about the menu so you will understand. If you like Thai food, you won’t be disappointed. If you are, you don’t know what Thai food is.

I love this Thai restaurant ! I’m from LA and every time I visit Palm Springs I stop by on the way there and back. Everything on the menu is amazing. My top favs are the spicy Thai seafood soup and the shrimp fried rice. Meow and her staff provide excellent customer service. Simply the best!

This little place is hidden away in a strip mall right off the freeway behind a Jack in the Box. It’s a small restaurant with plates that pack a big punch. The place is very clean and the decoration appear very authentic. The staff was polite and attentive. They even made an origami rose with the top half of the paper straw cover. I mean who thinks of something so small but so impactful. It shows the detail this location places on everything they do. The food was amazing. The coconut curry and shrimp dish was delicious and the Spicy Noodles were plentiful but they lacked a little heat. All in all, great meal at the most random location.

Won ton soup — enjoyed the refreshing taste of the broth. Thai Orchid Fried Rice was nothing to write home about. The Orchid sampler appetizer is a fun sharing platter for two. Chicken Satay was on the dry, overcooked side. Service was friendly and so was the atmosphere.

Crab Rangoon: so delicious! My favorite in the area so far. Spicy Noodle: not the best, wish it had more veggies and basil but it was still good. Like a 7 out of 10. Teriyaki Chicken: So yummy!!! I love how its not a thick sauce, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Spicy Basil Chicken: I added eggplant to this dish, it was so good! My favorite that i had tried. — — — — - The inside is really cute for a small place & though I ordered to-go, the ladies were really patient and sweet! Will be trying this place again sometime soon :).

This place is the best Thai I have ever had! I’ve been coming here for years and have yet to find another thai restaurant even close to this one. Their orange chicken is one of my favorite dishes. It’s so sweet, tangy, and is very fresh. Their chicken steamed dumplings are another of my favorite. The sauce that comes with them to dip the dumplings in is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I can never get enough of this place ! I highly recommend! Oh and get the vegetable egg rolls for a special appetizer. The orange sauce those come with is also amazing !

First time at Thai Orchids a small and intimate restaurant in Banning. I tried the«go to» Yellow Curry which turned out to be excellent. Had the coconut ice cream for dessert accompanied by a thai tea which was also excellent. Very friendly staff and great service! I would certainly recommend this place

My wife and I have a 4 month old and Thai Orchid is a great place to get our meals to go. We’ll place an order and within 20 minutes it’s ready. The portions are pretty good. The Pad See Eew with beef is my favorite along with their Panang Beef. Their Orange Chicken is also excellent because it’s super sweet and savory with a crispy texture. There’s a minimum of $ 7 if you want to use a credit card or they charge .50 cents which is fair. Their dishes are between $ 7-$ 11 which are pretty affordable. My wife actually prefers Thai Air on Beaumont st.(which I also like) but I think the portions are larger here and it’s closer to our house. I can go either way.

Literally got my order like 30mins ago and ate the shit out of it. I don’t know, I couldn’t help it, my pregnancy craving were taking over big time. And although I have been really good with my intake and not gaining a whole lot I couldn’t help myself when I dug into my beef pad Thai. I think it’s been a year or two since I last tried this place out and since I was dying for some Thai food I decided to give this place another shot. And my belly and baby are happy that I did! Normally, I go to Redlands’ Thai House for my pad Thai but I wasn’t about to drive my uncomfortable butt over there so I called in an order here. My food was hot and fresh and tasted better than my normal place. The egg rolls were really good too, not overly greasy. The only thing I have a problem with is there tiny containers of chili and plum sauce. Like, seriously if I was worried about getting heart burn then I would have asked for like two handfuls. And one plum sauce container barely covered one egg roll. You’ll need like 4 because those containers are teeny tiny. Other than that this place gets a million stars from me.

If I could give +5 this deserves it just for the food. Small but clean with friendly people. We had Coconut Milk Chicken Soup &OMG, I mixed mine with their steamed Jasmine Rice and it was a full lunch, although I also had a Boba Mango/strawberry drink. My husband had Mint Beef spicy hot & he said it was the best he ever had… we will go back & take our friends… no not fancy, but who cares… Food 2 Fie 4… the cost was very reasonable!
