My wife and I really like this place. She’s a vegetarian, which usually means either no tacos or gross tacos. This place does some nice work with beans and rice… still have those weird frozen veggies in there, but it tastes pretty darn good. I get the chicken tacos every single time, and I love them. Salsa is nice a spicy, guac and chips are great. They’re nice folks in there too. Definitely worth a visit.

First taco place in baltimore that I’ve been impressed by. I miss my authentic Mexican street tacos and this fills that void, complete with pineapple on the tacos al pastor! One of the few places that can actually deliver a well-spiced salsa, too! :)

I’ve been going here since around 2010 or so. The tacos are pretty good, among the best on Eastern Avenue. It’s not tex-mex — these are authentic street tacos, the type you’d find in Mexico. No cheese and sour cream just seasoned meat, onions, cilantro and several types of salsa. There is a large selection of meats for the adventurous types but I just stick to the basics. My personal favorite is Carne Asada but the Carnitas, Lamb and Chicken are decent as well. Nothing fancy here it’s one of those hole-in-the-wall kinda places but if you’re a fan of authentic tacos you’d probably enjoy eating here. It can be a little inconsistent at times, I’ve seen employees come and go but never noticed a «manager» type person.

Have a crazy variety of meats. The pastor was not good. Meat was too big and it was way too sweet. Chorizo was solid. Salsas were very good and very spicy. Would return because of the prices at $ 2.50/taco.

I thought I’d try somewhere other than the awesome Tortilleria Sinaloa since it had been the only place I’d been to for tacos in Baltimore. Lesson learned. Nothing was bad at El Sabor, but nothing was very good, either. They have a much larger selection of meats compared to TS, but that advantage goes out the window when most of them aren’t up to snuff. All three(lengua, cabeza, barbacoa lamb) I tried were greasy, which made the OK tortillas soggy and diluted the flavor of the meat. Also, the merits of a fresh tortilla cannot be overstated when it comes to your authentic taco experience. Back down the road for me.

Best tacos I’ve found so far in Baltimore. Casual, cheap, and tasty. If I lived closer to the Patterson Park area you’d absolutely find me here more often. I just have to remind myself that this places exists whenever I have Chipotle cravings! Taqueria el Sabor Del Parque is way more worth the calories.

Still in search of the best tacos in Baltimore and I’m afraid I didn’t find them here. The meat was all a bit fatty and the tortillas were beyond greasy. I was also disappointed in the salsa. They were all just too spicy to even use. And my flan… came with a bite out of it.

Great quality, authentic, and cheap. I got the steak burrito which is only 5 bucks, and the chicken torta which is only 7. Both were outstanding and a good amount of food. Highly recommend trying this if you’re in the area, and I am definitely coming back. Only down side was that they did not give free water

Update: I’ve been a few more times since my original review, and have to drop my rating by a star. The food can be a bit inconsistent, and I realize that the tortillas aren’t as good as some other local places.

Hands down the best tacos you’ll find in Baltimore. They have a huge selection of fillings to choose from, all very authentic and tasty. These aren’t Tex-Mex tacos, though, so don’t go in expecting loaded tacos. These are meat, chopped onions and cilantro with lime slices and some radishes on the side. Simple and delicious. Beware: when the waitress warns you that all the salsas are spicy, believe her. They range from moderately spicy(the pico de gallo) to very spicy(the salsa verde) to mouth blisteringly spicy(everything else). They’re all tasty though. Just expect to sweat and burn for a while after.

This place easily has the best authentic Latino food in canton. It’s right off eastern ave and Patterson park. You have the choice of something like 35 different tacos and the cook makes everything order. The cook and the register person work all day every day so they know what’s up. All the food is made to order and you can also call ahead. I think the thing the quality which which separates them from everyone else is the 4 different types of salsa you get with each meal. They appear to be all homemade, trust me when I tell you they are off the chain. I don’t live in canton any more, but every time I am in the neighborhood I find an excuse to stop by

got four tacos(pork, spicy pork, chicken, and beef). two corn tortillas per taco. the meat is very good and tender, esp the spicy pork. the beef was a little on the chewy side. comes with cucumber and radish to add to the texture and assuage the spiciness of the sauce. which, btw, is very spicy! there’s a green sauce and a red sauce. the green sauce is hot but the red sauce is REALLYHOT. like, my tongue is on fire quick bring me some milk to chug spicy. all in all, good quality authentic tacos that are cheap too!

This is a great taco place to stop by after a visit to patterson park. There are lots of different taco options available. I got 3 carne asada tacos and a mango soda for about 11 bucks. The meat was a little on the dry side and they weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they were decent. I’ll try another type of taco the next time I’m in the patterson park area. Oh and if you go, make sure you check out the interesting spanish programs/commercials on the TV… you won’t see that stuff in any other restaurant…

I’ve driven by Taqueria el Sabor del Parque many times and finally got a chance to enjoy some of their tacos! I’ve finally found a taco paradise, where for $ 2 – 3.50/each you get a good size, very filling traditional taco! Actually, everything is reasonably priced! The décor is super colorful and there is a lot of traditional Mexican artwork covering the walls. I ended up trying the chicken and steak tacos, but they have at least 15 different meats/fillings that you can get. I’m so used to getting rice and beans as sides any time I get Mexican food, but I was very full even after the first taco! They do have combos though, if you’re looking for a «whole» plate. Next time I think I’m going to try a burrito or maybe fajitas. Taqueria also carries a variety of Mexican sodas, candies, chips, and other treats!

Nice décor for a small restaurant. Lots of taco options. I got the lengua(tongue). I’d definitely recommend it. The carnitas I didn’t think was as tender. They have a few other options besides tacos, but tacos seems like what they specialize in. Eat in or take out and picnic in Patterson park. this place is a win.

Taqueria el Sabor del Parque is the embodiment of hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I love those kinds of places, and I’m definitely now a fan of this one. The majority of its menu is authentic Mexican tacos. Most are $ 2, some are $ 3-$ 4. Either way, this makes for good and inexpensive eats. I enjoyed the spare rib taco, the pork belly taco, the chorizo taco, and especially the inner guts taco. I was adventurous with the last one, but it paid off. Service is friendly and quick. I saw other patrons ordering some interesting drinks, so maybe I’ll ask about it next time. Overall, I’m glad I ventured into Taqueria el Sabor del Parque.

I’ve been hesitant to write this review because at this point, del parque is still one of the hidden foodie gems in Baltimore, and so the massive lines have not sprung up like one other taco joint further down eastern ave… But since I thought I’d put a good word out to the always pleasant and friendly staff and owners who run this place. The TACOs never disappoint and at $ 2 a taco, always a great deal. There is a large menu with about 20 different authentic taco varities from steak and chicken to more exotic pork cheef and beef tongue. You can be as safe as you want or try the exotic stuff which. I’ve tried probably 90% of the different tacos and will give my recommendations for my favs. Must get TACOs: — el pastor — steak — chorizo — chicken — pork cheek(may not be for everyone, its got a jelly like texture which i Love) — lots of others to try as well Also be sure to try HORCHATA. It is excellent. They also have other drinks as well including Jarritos sodas. The accompanying hot sauces(green, red, raw hot pepper mix with onions) are also great with the tacos and dont overpower the natural flavors. They also have entrée options as well as lots of different processed Mexican potato chips, plantain chips, etc that you might find in a 7⁄11 but in Mexico. I would just stick with the tacos and not bother with other stuff. COMEHEREIFYOURINTHEMOODFORTACOS cheap quick friendly

Steak is good! Chicken a little dry and no flavor. All sauces/salsas are very spicy. All in all a good experience. Can’t complain much about $ 2 tacos.

Maybe more of a 4 considering the utter lack of any place like this in Baltimore. As another ex-Texan, I’m happy to find a taco place with an amazing selection of offal meat tacos here in Baltimore. It’s pretty darn authentic, yes, but I wasn’t totally thrilled with the lengua and«pork belly» taco I had there. The«pork belly» was not actually pork belly as in the same place where bacon comes from, nor is it pork stomach as in tripe. I’m not really sure what part it is but it was kind of like the ear but a little meatier. It wasn’t bad, it’s just not what I expected. The salsas, tortillas and other parts were spot on, for sure, but the way the lengua was cooked seemed slightly tough and under-seasoned. On the up side, it was cheap as heck(4 tacos, a horchata and Mexican Coke was around $ 12 and it filled up two very hungry people!) and it’s good to know that my taco options in Baltimore is getting a little better. I’m definitely curious about the cactus on the menu! Beyond that, definitely a great set-up inside – you can tell there was a lot of love and pride behind this restaurant. Overall it really wasn’t bad. Just slightly underwhelmed with the meat toppings I had the first time around but there are still many other parts of the pig and cow to explore for next time! I will definitely give it another shot. Just low-balling the grade for now until I get a better idea of the place.

Affordable burritos, bilingual staff. About the food, the burritos are good, and the salsa, besides that, the rest of the food is ok, expensive to be just ok.
