Fun and Great atmosphere, friendly staff food is out of this world! We had the crab dip, seafood quesadilla and a hubcap margarita! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Went their on 9÷24÷15. It was my first time dining. I don’t get what the hype is about. The frozen mango Margarita I got tasted like frozen juice. The fries were cold. Just wasn’t my cup of tea. I won’t be back.

We got there before 5pm so it was not too crowded, but it got really crowded when we left. They have different types of margaritas and I don’t know what to get. The staff was helpful to choose one. I got the Memphis Mafia. As I requested it was not sweet but it could be little stronger, I think. Foods were decent. They also have different types of quesadillas, and they are huge! I had philly steak quesadilla, and it was very filling. I also had guacamole. I like little more strong taste of guacamole. Mon & Tue Fajita nights look great deal. Maybe I should give another shot for that.

Just okay. Stopped here for drinks with the hubby and got the crab dip. It was light on the taste and flavor. The margaritas were good. I should’ve stopped with the drinks…

Very surprised I have not written a review prior to this because I have been here a few times. I once upon a time got their chicken Chesapeake sandwich which was once my favorite and is delicious. Once I got their quesadillas, there was no going back. My first one involved shrimp and artichoke which was great. I then got into the chicken Chesapeake quesadilla which combined my love for their chicken Chesapeake and getting their quesadilla. A friend got their salmon tacos and loved it. Their margaritas are good and strong. I like their complimentary chips and salsa. I have always had pleasant service from them and feel great giving them my business.

I love Nacho Mama’s! I especially love the shrimp and chorizo quesadilla. I’ve also gotten the corn and chorizo, it’s super good. The hub cab with margarita is a fun concept. I can only eat a ¼ of a quesadilla because they are so big! You’ll have enough for a couple of meals. There’s usually a wait, but it’s worth it. The service is also good, even when it’s busy.

Nacho Mama’s is a great place for good drinks and casual fare. The food portions are generous and the drinks, especially the various margaritas are great as well. The service can vary but the food is generally worth it. It has a tendency to get busy so you might want to get here earlier than later or be prepared to wait a bit for a table.

Jeez this little place gets busy. Stopped in 2 weeks ago for dinner. We ended up eating at the bar. The bartender was courteous and quick. The margaritas were really tasty. We ordered a Blue Seude Shoes Hubcap. Wow. Drinking out of a big metal bowl is an experience. I would recommend a longer straw instead of the cocktail straws. Food. The wings were dynamite. Sticky and tasty. We got the Crab quesadilla, which was bomb. The black bean burrito lacked something. It was ok, big but it could of used some spice. As a vegetarian I would of liked an add on option for tofu or some other veggie protein. Otherwise. I have no complaints.

I have heard from so many people that I need to come here to get their hubcap margaritas, that I finally had to do it! There were 3 of us and we ordered one of the originals and it was a lot of margarita! Took us a while to finish it! I was a little skeptical at first because a lot of time giant drinks tend to be not as good(i.e. watered down etc.), but the margarita was amazing! One of the best margaritas I’ve had in Baltimore. I also ordered the tilapia tacos, which was surprisingly very very good. It did come as a single giant taco which was a little unexpected and a little difficult to eat, but overall the flavors were amazing and it was all very delicious. I will definitely be coming back here!

Love this little place! Best place for fajitas and margaritas in Baltimore. The portions are humongous and delicious. It’s an especially good deal if you come for fajita night(Monday and Tuesday) because you get a pitcher of margarita or sangria with every two orders of fajitas. The margs were on point and I’m looking forward to trying their hubcap margaritas next time I come. Ps. They’re opening up a new location in Towson!

In the heart of Canton rests a tribute to the King(not a religious reference) that should be enjoyed by everyone who likes to drink out of a hub cap. Of course, I am talking about Nacho Mama’s Mexican eatery, one of three restaurant/bars within the same block, owned by the same family. Business in front, party in rear, could be the motto, as the front half of Nacho Mama’s is the bustling bar/dining area, packed with vintage B’more history from autographed team pics of the 50s Baltimore Colts to the heyday of Natty Boh print ads. But it’s the back room that holds sway for this establishment. Imagine a black velvet explosion in an Elvis knick knack factory and you’d be close to what this room has to offer. A hand full of group sized tables dominate the floor area, but the walls are dedicated to the King. There’s even an archway entrance to His wedding chapel(read: bathrooms). It may not be the Jungle Room, but I get the feeling that even Elvis would be proud to drink here. Side Note: Even tho the owner of this, and the other two restaurants on the block, died in a tragic biking accident a few years ago, his family has continued in the wonderfully kitschy tradition that he started. Maybe he’s actually met Elvis now?

Is it authentic Mexican food? No. BUT the portions are huge as are the drinks. Everything tastes fine and the servers are friendly. The prices are also reasonable. This place gets packed!

Two words: hubcap margarita. We went on a Saturday night, so the wait was quite a while(though we did order drinks at the bar to ease the pain), but it was 100% worth it. It took us 4 people and a good hour and a half to finish a hubcap and a plate of crab nachos. I’m counting down the days until we do it again.

Do you like quesadillas the size of you head? Do you like drinking margaritas out of hubcaps? Then Nacho Mama’s is the place for you! I freakin’ love it here. I have waited almost three hours to eat here and I wasn’t even mad about it. My two favorite things are the chicken chesapeake dilla and the buffalo mac and cheese burrito. Lemme tell you about this burrito, it’s a buffalo chicken burrito(chicken simmered in homemade hot sauce and Gouda cheese) over HOMEMADEJALAPENOMACANDCHEESE with chili con queso on top. That’s right, a burrito OVER jalapeño mac and cheese. It’s a gift from the heavens. I get heartburn fairly easily but will eat a bottle of Tums and suffer through it because this burrito is that good. Drinks are always good and strong. Love the margs(pretty much any of them) and the red sangria. The staff is great, always funny and friendly. Be advised, you’re gonna wait but I promise it’s worth it!

Nacho Mama’s is exactly what it needs to be: an excellent bar with excellent bar food. Nacho Mama’s is an Elvis and Baltimore themed bar with a large array of Mexican food items, making it a sort of perfect mixture of alcohol and grease. This place gets CROWDED, so plan to wait — there aren’t many tables — but the service is speedy when you get it. Prices are on part with a lot of restaurants in the area. Nacho Mamas’ food ranges from the solid to the excellent. Their fajitas are excellent across the board, and I’d recommend them any day of the week. Some of their other dishes, particularly their specials, tend to get a bit riskier — some of them that I’ve tried were good, others were bland. And to be honest, don’t expect much from accompanying rice or beans — like any other Mexican place, it’s not going to blow your mind. The hubcap margaritas are also excellent and highly recommended, should you want to drink strong alcohol from a hubcap(you do). I’d definitely recommend this place for those looking for a sports bar — this is definitely the kinda place you want to be during a game.

Nacho Mama’s in Canton gets a lot of hype for their hubcap margaritas, and they’re definitely something worth experiencing. But on the weekends around dinnertime, wait times can be incredibly long. On a weeknight, my friends and I were craving Mexican food and found ourselves eyeing the popular spot. Fortunately it was 6pm on a Wednesday and there was no wait. When we sat down, we received a complimentary order of chips in a hubcap with salsa. The chips were nothing special, but the salsa was delicious, it had a nice spiciness to it. The chips were the perfect way to start a meal. My friend decided to order the Chicken Fajitas. She loves fajitas so the fact that she ordered these wasn’t exactly surprising. The fajitas came with all of your standard items: onions, peppers, cheese, lettuce, rice, beans and tortillas. The fajitas were good, had a lot of flavor. However they were incredibly greasy. As good as they were, my friend wasn’t sure she would order them again. For my meal, I ordered a BBQ Chicken Quesadilla. Which was massive. The dish was two flour tortillas stacked and stuffed with Shredded BBQ Chicken, onions, peppers, tomatoes, monterey jack & cheddar cheese then baked golden brown & served w/sour cream. This was delicious and easily could have been split between two people. Despite everything that was stuffed into the quesadilla, it wasn’t insanely messy when I went to eat it and the BBQ flavor blended nicely with the cheese. If you’re looking for an awesome margarita spot, or a place to get a quesadilla the size of your face, then you’ll feel right at home at Nacho Mama’s in Canton.

Quite often it’s tough to get a table, but this is comfort food to me that reminds me of my first years in Baltimore. Service is friendly even if it is a tad spotty sometimes. Crab nachos are a must. Just get them. Chicken Chesapeake quesadilla is my go to. If you get the crab nachos and have less than 4 people, one quesadilla is usually enough food to split for a main dish for 2 people.

Decent quesadillas and awesome nachos. And margaritas, too! This is my kinda place. The quesadillas are overwhelmingly large and really just too much food to eat. You can stuff yourself for cheap here. There is sometimes a line, but meh, that’s not a huge issue. It can be kinda noisy in here.

One of probably my top 3 favorite places in Baltimore! I don’t have cravings for anything else like I do for some Nacho Mama’s nachos and a hubcap margarita! The only real drawback to Mamas is the pretty much ever present long wait. It’s tough to go and wait less than 20 minutes but if you go during dinner time 45 minutes or more is completely realistic. That said, plan accordingly and stop in at a nearby less busy bar(ie any of them) and grab a drink while you wait. It’ll be worth it. Obviously the nachos are amazing. They layer the toppings(and have awesome toppings from blackened and grilled chicken to crab and sausage) so the nachos never run out of awesome! They’re also HUGE. I last went with one friend and all we got was a hubcap and nachos. The two of us probably left a good third on the plate and left stuffed! Margaritas are not especially delicious but the hubcap makes it a complete experience! The décor is great and makes for a fun atmosphere. Music is good and service is good divey service. Nothing spectacular but exactly what you’d expect at a place like this. Nacho Mamas is Baltimore through and through with Die Ursay effigies on the wall and Natty Bo everywhere. I don’t know if the velvet Elvis’s are especially Baltimore but they’re iconically Mamas and help make the vibe! Prices are totally reasonable. Definitely definitely definitely check it out if you’re visiting or haven’t been!
