found this local pub by our hotel. loved this place. we were looking for informal place to have a cold beer, soup and a burger and this was the answer. very friendly service and good selection of standard and local beers.

Stopped in for a quick bite on New Years Eve since I was in the area. Very, very pleasantly surprised. The staff was awesome and incredibly nice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger which was delicious and came with what we’re probably the best fries I’ve ever had. Seriously. My friends were also shocked at how good their food was as well.
Going back this morning for brunch and (hopefully) crab cakes.

Stopped in for a beer on our way to see a play, hoping for some local flavor, but it was just another grimy bar with too many television sets and a sad cast of characters. The customers outside were clearly inebriated (this was early in the evening) and those inside looked lonely and bored. The bartender was quick and courteous and the prices were fine, but it lacked atmosphere, With so many diverse and high-​quality spots within walking distance, why order a plain old burger and fries here?

Went here on a whim on a Saturday night. By far the best bartender I’ve encountered in Baltimore. Friendly service, and great shrimp! Great place to watch a game.

Got a tex mex burger it was pretty good. Service was great. Pound (.454 kg) shrimp was off the charts. Waitresses were pretty, nice and very attentive but not too attentive. Literally came three days in a row. Loved the gravy, perfect for fries as well as my grilled ham and cheese.

Extremely convenient location for the two hotels, it’s just down one short dark street and it’s the place that doesn’t look like much.
Friendly service, a great cheeseburger, inexpensive beer. What’s not to love?
Several TV’s tuned to the local sports channels and you can expect this place to fill up quickly after the game (Ravens or Orioles) ends.
The place is open quite late, but the food service ends at 11pm.

We were back in Baltimore for the holiday weekend and were so glad that Peter’s was open as some other places in the area were closed.
I ordered an Orange Crush, as I always do while in Baltimore, and a black bean burger with cheese, tomatoes, and jalapeños along with fries. I’ve had tons of veggie and black bean burgers and Peter’s did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly, not dried out like other places and came with the delicious fries. The waitress was also very attentive with our drinks and made sure to check in on us after we got our food.
Another great meal at Peter’s!

Poorly managed. Only had one employee working the entire bar and dining areas. Food came out cold and over cooked. Patio is in an alley where the nearby building are under construction so it doesn’t make for a good view, unless you like homeless persons and rats.

Don’t think they can manage food for 15 people. My first clue was seeing the rat run across the patio area, but I let that go because of the restaurant’s location.
Ultimately the food came out… Fries were cold, steak was… I don’t know what it was!
Peter’s may be good for a small group, couple, or individual, however, no one was satisfied in my party. Very disappointing!!!

Well the cheap drinkers are obviously the ones driving the reviews here… cheap beer does not make for good food.
Cold fries, cold crab cakes and canned chili.
Nice patio though, we had a great view of the rats. Not the ones who scurry away out of sight. Raton was willing to sit and watch us. Wow! A rat in its natural habitat only 15′ away.
Wowsers! That was a dining pleasure!

Happy hour, (2) beers (resurrection and a brown ale) — $ 14.50 or something. ¾ full plastic cup. Cool?
Not really that busy, bartender was nice. Said she’d be right w me, proceeded to take like (3) regular customers orders who got her attention with a wave — and wash pint glasses, before she came back to me.
Couldn’t hide the dissatisfaction w/​that type of service (through mannerism not words-​6 min is «right w/​you» in a non-​busy bar?- I dunno) and she couldn’t either basically. It’s hard to tip much on top of two plastic cup ¾ filled beers served 6 min after you’d be right w/​me, for $ 15. Touché
Anywhere around the block is basically a better call unless you are tight w/​the bartenders.

I love Peter’s. We ordered the Surf &Turf, Buffalo wings, and some appetizers. The best thing in Peter’s is you can hear the songs by the band: Wasted Gravity.

Peter’s is conveniently located. I walked ten minutes in the snow, and it was worth it.
The service was good. It is definitely a place where locals come — I felt like I lived here!
I ordered the crab platter. The crab cakes were very tasty! I wish they had had an option to only get one crab cake though (two was a little much).
I recommend it!

It is a great place to go in Baltimore, at least compared to the Waterfront Cheesy and expensive restaurants and bars.

We were looking for a place to watch the World Cup final off the beaten tourist path of the Inner Harbor, and this fit the bill.
Just a few blocks off the harbor in an unassuming alley lies Peter’s Pour House. I’ve never been to Boston, but if I were to describe a stereotypical «Bahston» guy, it would have been our server. Nice, but without any extra charm — very to the point.
I liked the interior a lot, full of brick and wood, it felt like a legitimate local’s bar. We both had the crab cake sandwiches which were priced at $ 15 and included some of the better fries we’ve had. They had some beer specials too, 32oz Natty Boh for just $ 5 — others available for a slightly higher price depending on your selection.
Not too crowded, enjoyable food and good beer specials make for a good experience and our «Bahston» server gave the place a unique feel. I’d go back! 4 stars.
