Holy Wow! I bought my first sub from here today. I just started working in the area. I ordered the chicken parm sub not really expecting much. It’s the best I’ve ever had as far as chicken parm goes. The roll was toasted golden brown and crispy. The chicken was tender and not tough to bite in to. The only bad part is, I may be eating a lot of subs now for lunch.

I know they’re known for their pizza, but Pasta Mista’s Gnocchi Pesto may be the yummiest item on their menu! For the price you pay, the portions are huge. I highly recommend Pasta Mista for their friendly and efficient service, and oh-so-delicious gnocchi!

5 stars for the pizza and the friendly guys making it. It’s the best in the area IMO. 1 star for the cashier who decided it was okay to pocket my change. A thief, pure and simple.

Love this place for one reason — Chicken Bruschetta pizza. One of my favorite pizza places to grab a single slice or two.

I’m a Jersey girl(North Jersey that is, yes its a big difference) and nothing says home like a slice of NY style thin slice, plain pizza grease and all making the cheese look extra shiny with a side of RC coke. Here at Pasta Mista is the closest thing I am going to get to it. I can’t comment on the rest of the menu being that’s the pizza is the only reason why I come here. So if your from the Tri State Area and have adopted Baltimore as your new home stop by Pasta Mista and get a slice.

This is a NY style pizza place, and they have an array of pizzas by the slice to choose from individually. For me it’s the closest to NY style in Baltimore. It’s not a fancy coal or wood fired joint, but it’s the perfect spot for a slice or two to go or if you just want a regular, traditional pie. Plus you can buy their dough to take home if you want to make your own! I like the chicken parm slice and the one with broccoli, feta and red pepper flakes. Yum! I also love that they were open during a snow storm last winter. I walked(slid) there with my neighbor and we were so happy to see them open in full force.

Review based on chicken shrimp alfredo. The sauce was probably from the bottle and not a good one, chicken reminds me of shortcuts made w rib meat and the shrimp were small salad type shrimp. I was so disappointed. I will try other menu items«safe» ones and maybe this rating will rise but steer clear of this pasta.

I’ve been coming to Pasta Mista for years, though I originally bought my food mainly from the Towson«headquarters» before they expanded. I’ve always loved their pasta dishes, and thankfully, the Canton location isn’t much different from the Towson or Timonium stores — at least, the food isn’t. However, the difference in price(a full dollar or more in some cases) is an annoyance — really, I know that people tend to have money in this area, but there’s no justification for the price hike, guys. The last time we were here, I ordered my favorite gnocchi napoli(potato dumplings with a tangy, tomato-flavored rose sauce), and my husband had a ginormous slice of chicken ranch pizza, as well as a plate full of pasta bolognese. We were both very full and quite satisfied with ourselves afterward, I can assure you. The atmosphere is fast casual, although there’s seating available(it tends to feel less cramped in this location, even though there’s really not many more tables than in the Towson store). They do a brisk business here, even so. The pizza has always been fresh and hot — perhaps we’re just lucky and catch them at the right time, who knows. I have seen dogs in here, which I’m not real thrilled about. I understand that this area also has a lot of dog owners that like the convenience of being able to take them everywhere and anywhere, but as a consumer, I just don’t want animals in restaurants unless they’re a service animal — it’s a sanitation thing. It’s not enough to keep me from coming back, but it is a pet(hah, hah) peeve of mine that I would be remiss not to mention. The air conditioner over the door(I think it’s an AC, anyway) tends to be REALLY loud when you enter and exit — it does tend to take away from the«ambiance», what little there is. I’ll eat here if I’m in Canton, but I much prefer the Towson store — if for no other reason, it’s because the prices are cheaper there.

Great pasta! Had the chicken vodka. Comes with warm garlic bread. Will be back to try other things. Restaurant is clean inside too!

Been stopping through here for years with my friends. Whether staying in Baltimore or just driving up 95, I always try to grab a slice or two from here. As a guy from New York, their slices are always something I look forward to when away from home.

I’m rating this as a fast, casual pizza place. Not as a nice, sit-down restaurant where décor, ambiance and service matter. This place is a pizza spot. They always have new and fresh pies baking, so you walk in, choose what you want(or customize), pay, they call your name, pick it up, sit, eat! Quick and easy. They have lots of other specials of the day, beer/wine, salads, pastas. The pizzas are excellent. They offer NY-style, big-ass slices on a chewy dough base that gets a gift char in the oven. The crust is thin and crispy, and they load up the toppings to the edge so there isn’t too much crust. The sauce they use reminds me of street pizza in Manhattan by Penn Station. Yum! Good lunch deals. Check it out.

I’ve only tried the pizza here once and I would call it good but not excellent. The staff was friendly and our order came out pretty quickly. Price was good for what we got. Nothing about Pasta Mista really stood out, but for what I needed to do(feed a half dozen people quickly and for a reasonable price) they did a very good job.

Great for grabbing a slice or hero. Got dinner for 2 on a Friday night for $ 14(a caesar salad, a slice of chicken parm, a slice of hawaiian, a soda). Seating is available inside or outside. Being from NY, pizza is everything. This pizza is preeettttty good!

Pasta Mista in Canton offers a variety of foods: pastas of course, pizza, subs/sandwiches, salads, calzones, desserts, etc. They offer quality cooked food at inexpensive prices, which can be hard to find. I’ve been several times enough to know the place and recommend trying it out. Their pastas are really good, the sliced grill chicken pieces they use really compliment their pasta not to mention the sauces this place uses seem to be their own at least for some of the pastas. As for their pizzas, they have many pizza variants, their pizzas are thin slice, and are quite tasty. Their subs are also quite good. Overall, this is just a solid Italian restaurant.

We stopped here for lunch one snowy afternoon so this prego lady could get her pizza fix. I love me some pizza! I tried a meat special and a slice of the Chicago style pepperoni. My husband got an Italian cheesesteak. He said his sandwich was good but wasn’t blown away by it. I would next time skip the Chicago style and just get the normal crust they offer. The pizza was good, once again not blown away but good. They have a lot to choose from which was nice when you order by the slice. Still trying to find that pizza in Maryland that blows me away, searching, searching…

When I went to Towson, my go-to spot to grab a slice was Pasta Mista. Hands down, Pasta Mista had the best pizza and pasta in the area. When I moved downtown, I figured that I’d have to find a new spot to grab a quick slice of pizza. Fortunately for me, Pasta Mista has another location in Canton that my roommate and I can regularly visit, just like we did in college. My roommate always orders the same two items at Pasta Mista. She starts with a slice of Pizza. The pizza is New York style topped with cheese and red sauce. It may look like nothing special, but this pizza is really delicious. My roommate also ordered French Fries. The fries at Pasta Mista are thin cut and you’re served a fairly large portion. The fries are nothing special, but they’re a great accompaniment to a slice of pizza. For my meal, I deviated from my standard slice of pizza and went for an order of their Baked Ziti. The portion of baked ziti is fairly large and the pasta is topped with a generous portion of sauce and cheese. It’s delicious. The baked ziti is served with a complimentary side of Garlic Bread. The garlic bread is buttery, garlick-y and a perfect side to the pasta. If you’re looking for an awesome slice of pizza or some other Italian options, head over to Pasta Mista in Canton, you won’t be disappointed.

Good pizza, great pasta, quick and affordable. Beer on tap and wine by the bottle. The lobster ravioli is tremendous.

Really unimpressed by Pasta Mista. I’ve only tried two dishes – the pesto penne and the chicken parm – so I can’t in good conscience give it less than 2 stars. My girlfriend had another pasta dish that she didn’t like and didn’t finish. Other reviewers like the pizza, so maybe it’s a pizza vs. pasta issue. The idea of a fast and easy italian take-out place is really appealing to me, because I like pasta and I’m often getting food on the go. But Pasta Mista’s pasta dishes are overly heavy and unappetizing. Confusingly, they also refused to replace the chicken in their standard penne pesto pasta. I had asked for sausage instead, and they were happy to give me sausage, but they just wouldn’t take out the chicken… which struck me as weird. I ended up with a pasta that had both, even though I would have been willing to pay the same amount for a pasta without the chicken. Does this mean it’s a pre-made dish? Regardless, I was willing to love it but ended up with a brick of overly-sauced and greasy pasta. With Veni Tre moving in across the street in Canton Crossing, people that want a quick bite of Italian at least have a pretty good alternative.

I never have anything negative to say about Pasta Mista. The service is friendly and efficient, the ambiance is inviting and the food is always fresh and delectable. I had my roommate try the Spaghetti pizza and he feel instantly in love. I mean… who can really go wrong with a thick slice of pizza, spaghetti on top of the crust and then latticed over with more crust. It has the perfect crunch to gooey ratio. The only reason this Pasta Mista is getting 4 stars is because that parking lot is brutal. Good luck finding a spot and if you do, watch out for your doors — you’ll be sure to have a couple of dings and dents once you leave.

Situated in a small fast food section conveniently arranged for employees/residents in the Harbor East/Fells Point/Canton, Pasta Mista of Brewer’s Hill is great for a lunch time option. The customer service here is informal and friendly. Dining space is small yet the structure of the place makes it seem spacious and open(just watch your booty walking past someone’s table so as not to get pizza sauce on it). I love the salads here. They are chock full of goods and not just a bunch of old lettuce with tons of core to boot(I HATE lettuce core). In fact, the salads are so satisfying I’ve left there patting my full belly as if I ate a few slices of their pizza so SCORE for healthful eating with a no-guilt finish. The cheesesteak subs come with great reviews from my friends and, as you can see, the varieties of pizza are plenty. I’m a fan of the Murillo pizza(mushrooms, onions and banana peppers) and I also like the caprese sticks! Very fresh but it’s something about the combination of the mozzarella, tomatoes & olive oil that taste like bologna when you are burping for the remainder of the day. TMI yes, but hey I’m forewarning you so that you know to have a couple sticks of gum handy for the next several hours after you eat one. Prices WERE pretty reasonable but after a recent price hike & the salads going up nearly a dollar, I’m going to have to downgrade that statement to a «prices are ok» for lunch but if I were to choose one over the other for the best/healthiest value I’d still recommend the salads.
