Maid for Kings Cleaning Service

Not bad! I made an appointment 2 months in advance. They made the appointment to my house and they cleaned it for two hours. With a little monitor by my partner, we see the cleaning done. I appreciate what you guys do. Keep up the good cleaning, we need you.

Initially, I was impressed with service. Especially the fact that the owner herself worked on my kitchen floor and did a great job. HOWEVER, The vacuuming was incomplete, there was still «ick» in one of my toilets that was overlooked, the main shower didn’t look any different than before they got there… all in all not the greatest! I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect thoroughness and not cutting corners. I will not use again!

We bought the equivalent of their Groupon directly off of their website when we were about to have a baby. I called to specifically ask whether I should buy a two or three hour voucher, explaining what I would want done and the size of my house. Yvette (manager or owner) expressed that two hours should be more than sufficient, so that is what I bought.
We decided to use the voucher right before our daughter’s christening so we would have one less thing to do before hosting a bunch of people in our home. Yvette was really easy and flexible about scheduling, including a last-​minute change due to a family emergency. However, the cleaning person just didn’t show up for the appointment. Yvette was very apologetic and rescheduled for the next day. The (different) woman did do a nice job cleaning, however she showed up 1 ½ hours late. (If I had been told a range of, say, 3 – 5, that would have been fine, but when I am told 3 – 3:15, I don’t expect 4:30.) Additionally, she was not able to finish everything I wanted done in a two-​hour timeframe.
Oh, and let’s be clear — my house is not a pigstye. In fact, we did a LOT of picking up around the house so the cleaning lady wouldn’t spend time putting things away or organizing, just cleaning.
I would have paid for a three-​hour voucher if that is what was needed, but I was going on her advice and only bought two hours. Fortunately, most of the house is done and done well, but I still have to put in effort that I didn’t expect. For a party in five days. While tending to a 4-​month-​old baby that doesn’t nap. Joy!
