We finally got to go here for dinner and it was amazing! Typically we dine here for brunch. We always sit in the bar area in a booth, or at the bar itself. Ezra and another fellow waited on us both, and were excellent. I was starving so I opted for a cup of gazpacho, a wedge salad, and tried the pan seared sea bass. The sea bass was delicious, seared perfectly with flavor and not compromising on the velvety, buttery nature of the fish. My husband got the braised beef short ribs which were equally as flavorful and savory. We didn’t have room for dessert, but would like to try something next time. Total before tip was $ 93.85

Delicious shrimp, andouille sausage and grits, which followed the tuna app. Excellent. Priced fairly well.

I came here with my BF for dinner last night and I was absolutely impressed by the entire experience. We sat at one of the high tops by the bar where we were waited on my Eric the bartender and he was amazing! Eric was very attentive and gave great recommendations from drinks to food to dessert! I had the surf and cake from the mothers day special menu and it was SO good! I savored every bite of it! My BF got the hanger steak and that was super good also. Eric recommend the seasonal 7 layer strawberry cake and OMG that was so amazing! Hopefully I can get back for it before it’s gone! I’m officially a fan of this place and I can’t wait to go back!

Langerman’s is one of my favorite restaurants to visit in Baltimore and one of the few places that I’ve gone to multiple times. What’s great about Langerman’s is that it’s located in a popular area of canton and there’s free parking. The venue is great for large or small parties, and the food quality is pretty consistent. They feature a wide array of options, but they mostly offer southern cuisines such as catfish, Mac and cheese, cornbread, and shrimp and grits. They have a tasty cocktail list and the drinks aren’t overly priced. If you looking for some place nice to eat without the hustle and bustle of downtown and the harbor, try this little gem.

My family and I visited the restaurant midday on a Sunday. We had to wait a bit for a table to seat all of us, despite having a 2 p.m. reservation. However, the staff were very apologetic and were kind enough to hold brunch open longer for us to get our fill, despite their brunch’s normal closing time being 3 p.m. The staff kept the brunch service table well stocked for us and even checked in with us to make sure we were completely finished before taking it down. Our server was really pleasant — unfortunately I don’t remember her name. While the food wasn’t the best brunch food I’ve experienced, it truly was a great bargain for the price — and the service alone is enough to go back again for another visit.

Me and my girlfriend went for brunch. We loved it! The food was delicious and customer service was great. The price was good too. I also went for dinner and drinks. Everything was good and great atmosphere.

I finally made my way to Langermanns, and was pretty happy with my experience. I love the side bar that you get with brunch. The grits and sausage gravy were both delicious and tasted like authentic southern cuisine. I had the Memphis Benedict which was amazing, I would go back again just for this. My husband got the Chesapeake Benedict and it wasn’t great, I would say decent at best. The crab cake wasn’t prepared in a good way, because of this my husband ended up eating some of mine. Thankfully I had that side bar. The brunch also came with mimosas, which earned this place an extra star. The bartender waiting on us(we sat at the bar) was attentive even though he was very busy. I would say it’s overpriced for the brunch offering, but worth a visit every now and then.

And in conclusion… Stopped in on a Wednesday evening about 8:45. The bartender waited on us. He was super friendly and the food was pretty good.

Most Disappointing Meal. Ever. I would give the food 1 star, but the service was very attentive so I can’t bring myself to do it. Langermann’s is like a trick: it presents itself as finer dining with its ambiance, décor, service style, and prices… But the food is uninspired, bland, and definitely overpriced. I ordered from their regular menu and my boyfriend did restaurant week. I wish I could blame it on restaurant week but the restaurant wasn’t packed at all and my food was equally as unappetizing as my boyfriend’s food! Wedge salad: Tastes like lettuce, Kraft blue cheese dressing, fake bacon bits. Lobster Bisque: Tastes like thick grey-orange sludge. No lobster pieces. Would choose grocery store soup over this. Chicken from chicken/biscuit: Tastes like the dried out chicken tenders that they serve at cafeterias. Would choose royal farms over these. Biscuit: Tastes almost exactly like the ones from Popeyes. Would choose Popeyes prices any day! Pork Belly: Tastes like a thick slab of wet fat. The inside was soup-like. The outside was not crispy at all. Fat was not rendered at all. We rarely do this, but we sent it back. Avoid– unless you want to never crave pork belly again. Tuna tartare: Tastes like eating tuna that has been sapped of any tuna flavor and seaweed salad from a sushi restaurant. Crackers were so hard and thick that they might hurt your teeth. Scallops: Tastes like creamy grits and bacon. There were two sizable scallops. Probably the best dish, though one scallop had a strange mushy pink inside. Perhaps undercooked. Steak 1: Tastes like sinew. One side of the steak was rare. The other side was somehow cooked to medium well. When my boyfriend cut through the middle, he reached a sinew so thick and taut that when he try to cut it, it was like sawing a rope! We had to ask our server for a different steak… Steak 2: Was a little better than the first steak, but not by much. Tastes like the ‘beef’ option from back when airlines still served dinner. Mealy, thick, not juicy. Again, uneven temperature: one side of the steak was cooked rare and the other side was well done. We ate it because we were paying for it and my boyfriend– a steak lover– said it turned him off from steak. Overall– Never again. –Look, Popeyes, Royal Farms, and pre-made grocery store food is awesome for fast, affordable meals. But if we decide to go out and pay the price for dining out, we expect the quality to be higher! It cost us $ 100(including tip and no drinks) and we would rather have spent it on 10 pizzas because at least the pizzas would be delicious and filling.

Its okay, definitely over-priced and the food is good, but nothing mind blowing. I’ve had the steak and frites and Sea Bass entrée.

Never heard of this spot. Wanted something new to try with the fam. Found it on open table. Good news is it is nice and clean and was almost empty. We were able to get an immediate reservation for 5. We were promptly seated and our server name was Yaya. Our drink orders were taken and brought out immediately. We then proceeded to order our entrees. Hanger steak with risotto, chicken and biscuits as an entrée, braised short ribs with creamed spinach, and the special for the night which was grouper. OMG. the food was Devine!!! I will recommend visiting here again. Yummy, yummy in my tummy!

Delicious steak that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The creamed spinach was pretty good, too. The mashed potatoes needed a little more«umph.» They just had a lot of butter in them. Service was attentive. I enjoyed my time.

Went about a month ago with friend for brunch to celebrate her bday. Server and service were cool. Those grits! Yum! I had the Chesapeake Eggs Benedict as my entrée. The flavors were good. But they weren’t piping hot, as I would have liked. I also visited the buffet. Decent selection. Make sure you get the grits mentioned above, which are one of the buffet options. FYI, you get to choose an entrée and visit the buffet for one price, along with a Mimosa. Located in the heart of Canton. Plenty of packing in the front lot or one of the adjacent lots. Beware that the adjacent lots are 2 hour parking.

I brought my family here for Thanksgiving. Having hosted a friends giving dinner earlier in the week dishes and cooking was not what we wanted to do. This was a excellent choice of venue. They had free valet parking followed by efficient seating despite us being early for or reservation. The staff, while working on a holiday, were incredibly inviting and provided good service. Now for the food: I’d like to mention they offered both a buffet and a 3 dish meal(similar to restaurant week). I hadn’t realized you got both of these for your meal. It was excellent. The cornbread stuffing was on par. Both white and dark meat for the turkey, and plenty of sides on the buffet to stuff yourself(if that’s part of your holiday tradition). They also offered Smith island cake which was a cool thing to tell my family from out of town about. All in all. Great for thanksgiving dinner. Would definitely come here again.

I eyed Langermann’s when I was frequenting Nally Fresh nearby over the summer. I used the Unilocal to add it to my bookmarks and anxiously awaited a good time to attend. On a balmy Saturday evening, I decided that it was time to see what Langermann’s had to offer. Parking is limited to two hours in the lot right outside and there is a nearby garage. No long wait to be seated or to have my order taken. Upon review of the menu, I see that you can make some of the appetizer size items into entrees. For my dining pleasure I selected the fried green tomatoes and the catfish fingers. The combination of the two was enough to hold me. The fish was fresh and came out quickly(about 4 – 5 pcs). I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes(2 pcs to an order) and was cool until I found that one of the shrimp that lies atop of the fried green tomoatoes had not been deveined. Ok, I’m grossed out at this point. I let my server Kim know and she agreed that it was gross. Now I’m thinking that someone would offer a replacement, management come speak to me or at least discount the item. None of the above happened. That is what reduced my review to 3 stars. I’m hoping it was a freak occurrance and that they do take the time to devien shrimp prior to serving. Shrimp should be deviened because that black line you see is actually their waste line. Makes me wonder if they are familiar with the saying«What you eat don’t make me sh*t».

They have great weekend brunch specials but this review is for weekday dinner menu. Recommended menu: — Cape fear scallop appetizer: the appetizer portion came with two huge pieces of scallops. Had juicer scallops before from other places but their grits were really good. — ribeye steak: thumbs up! Perfectly cooked as asked. — shrimp and grits: again their grits is one of my favorite grits. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Thursday night. Overall both the service and food were good!

Went here on Sunday for my friends birthday brunch. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. I decided to go with the 19 dollar brunch. Here is how it works : 1. Pick and entrée i.e. Pancakes, French toast ect. 2. Bacon, sausage, grits, house fries, salad ect are all you can eat 3. Complimentary mimosa or juice. 4. Can add on eggs for 3 dollars. Overall I enjoyed the experience. Very clean and nice. Staff were friendly and fast. Probably the best pancakes I’ve had in Baltimore. Super buttery and delicious.

Where should I begin. So my girlfriends wanted to go to a buffet style brunch however 1 of my friends has food allergies… so it was very important to pick a place that had a variety of gluten free options. Langermans by far had a plethora of a selection to choose from. It is Southern style cuisine. You have an option to pick 1 food item like the french toast, greek omelette, eggs benedict, pancakes etc. You also get to help yourself to the buffet of side items… like fruit which was so sweet and good, corn salad, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and grits. The brunch also comes with your choice of a glass of OJ or a Mimosa. Now let me tell you. I hate grits. Ive tried them several times and the taste and consistency is just not my cup of tea. BUT Langermans grits are out of this world. I tasted a spoonful and I had to go back and get a plate. «You talking about something GOOD». Deeelish! I opted for the french toast with was made with spelt raisin bread soaked in cream, eggs, cinnamon topped with bananas, chocolate sauce and powdered sugar. It was soooo good. The bacon was nice and crispy. just how I like it. You have to put this place on your radar for a great brunch.

We loved Langermann’s! So many restaurants this close to the water don’t have to be delicious, a good value or even friendly. However, Langermans was delicious, a great value, and super friendly. We started with some great appetizers to share. Grits, fried green tomatoes, crab dip. All excellent! I I ordered the turkey, brie, and Apple sandwich. But because I’m vegetarian I asked them to substitute something for the turkey. The chef used grilled asparagus and it was amazing. Never would have thought of that. Coffee and espresso and out the door in an hour. A great lunch.

Location is in the middle of a shopping complex. The restaurant is beautiful, classy but relaxed atmosphere. Service was a bit overbearing sometimes and then was not proactive. The waiter talked about the menu for a very long time in the beginning of the meal, and then took a very long time maybe 20 minutes before he brought biscuits and cornbread to the table. The food itself was yummy, and a smaller than average portion. I had the scallops entrée which was recommended for a seafood meal. The scallops were good, but the sauce made them taste even better! I really liked the pears, sweet potatoes, and other vegetables mixed into the dish. It was very unique. Also, I had a side of grits and it was fantastic. This is coming from someone who normally despises grits. I would say they are not at all your traditional grits because they are quite creamy. The grits are more of an in between of mashed potatoes or risotto because the traditional grits texture is not there.
