House of Spirits

They deliver me my booze in a timely manner. What else can a drinker want from a house of spirits?! Good on the phone also. I am thankful such an establishment exists.

It’s by no means the largest selection, the cheapest, or the most endearing store.
However, it is convenient and that comes at a price.
Thanks for coming through in a pinch House of Spirits.
Pros: Open late, carries the essential brands
Cons: No frills, $$ on the higher side

Really nice guys. They’re open on Sundays til 9 pm. Simple, but good, selection of cold beer, wines, liquor, and mixers.

And they’re always open on holidays! Ya last minute Thanksgiving day liquor purchases!

They deliver (cases, kegs, whatever) and they have kegs, and they deliver them with short notice (if you are willing to take whatever selection they have in stock).
If you have figured it out, they deliver kegs, which is by far the most annoying thing to go pickup. Also they are open late and deliver late.
I have a kegerator and order Yuengling and they have no problem getting it in and delivering it. I have had a party where my c02 went out and asked them to bring over quite a few cases of beer, and they had no problem. I believe they deliver until 2 AM. So why would you go anywhere else for large orders? I don’t know.

If you like your Spirits you’ll like this convenient house. House of Spirits is a local favorite, it’s one of the few liquor stores that is right near Patterson park that is on the way if you are walking from Canton to Fells Point if you decide to travel on Fleet Street. There is a decent variety of wine, beer, and liquor. They also sell Lotto tickets and other items that most convenient stores carry. The prices are decent, and who doesn’t love being able to pick up an already chilled bottle on those warm nights when you don’t have the time.
The staff is nice and have not problem striking up a fun conversation. They know their regulars well and the locals that frequent the store who need to grab a quick bottle of wine before they stop at a party. House of Spirits also delivers (as advertised on the side of the building). During football season they are open on Sundays which is rare for liquor stores, but it’s all about the permits in MD.

This is a nice, little liquor store.

I love the people at the House of Spirits! So friendly, so helpful… It’s become my favorite place to get liquor.
If you get a case of beer and it isn’t cold, they will take the singles out of the refrigirator and replace the warm ones with those. They deliver. They give you little single shot bottles with every 30 dollar purchase. Not a huge selection, but has something for everyone at very reasonable prices.
Again, I keep coming back because of the wonderful staff!

I read a couple reviews for House of Spirits and decided to give them a call. I have a friend who is staying in Baltimore and we wanted to give her a gift certificate to purchase some wine while she is there. I spoke to Sal and he just made everything so easy for us. Great attitude and customer service. We did it all over the phone and he will deliver the wine to my friend. Great customer service is still alive in Baltimore. Thanks, Sal!

I used to go to this place all the time when I lived on the Patterson Parke Ave side of the park. It’s not a huge place and they don’t have «everything» but they do have some of the best prices on booze in the walkable area. What is most striking about this place, however, is the staff. Always friendly and always happy to see you and always ready to hook you up. Speaking of a hook up, House of Spirits delivers booze too. They have a $ 30 minimum but will drive the drank to your door lickity split. I tested the delivery service out last night. Sure I could walk myself up to my closest liquor store in Canton but I wanted to check these guys out. I gave ‘em a call, made the order, got the price and a truck was on my street in a matter of minutes. They even recognized me from the store and we had a short country conversation. Good people, they are. If you live anywhere near this spot check ‘em out and if you live within delivery radius hit ‘em up if you wanna keep the party rollin’.
