This was the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered at a hair salon! Called, made an appointment for hair color. Arrived on time and was greeted by a moody stylist! Tameka inquired to see if I wanted the same color. I responded by telling her I would like to go a little darker. She walked off in a huff to get some hair swatches. She remarked loudly to another stylist«she doesn’t even know what color she wants.» When she returned I told her that I did know what color I want. She angrily said, «well you need to let me know that!» I proceeded to look at the swatches and let her know what I wanted in regard to color. She seemed irritated by the whole conversation. She walked off without a word! I began to feel uncomfortable with the communication so I walked up to the front desk to ask how much a color and highlight costs – the stylist that she complained to earlier about my lack of knowing what color I want — he decided to interject his .02. He interjects while working on a client – yelling across to me that my stylist needs to tell me the fees, because she knows what chemicals she’s mixing! Hmmm – I’m at a chain hair salon and there are not price ranges is what is running through my head. I say nothing and turn around to retrieve my purse so I can get out of there before any of the angry stylists can touch my hair! I can see in the mirror while I’m walking back that he is glaring at me while he yells across the salon, «is that ok?» I didn’t get a chance to respond, because I left! There was nothing ok about my experience in this salon!

I have looked feverishly for a new hair stylist since my old one moved two years ago. I found My place! I used to go to Toni and Guy, but since my stylist moved away I have been unable to find anyone that I was comfortable and gave me direction. That was until I met and found Will at TGF! I went in and he understood exactly what I needed and asked many questions and I let him«work his magic» I was so happy when I left and I have not received so many compliments on my appearance and hair this much in so long! Thank you Will!!! I can’t wait to see you and come back!

DONOTSETFOOTINTHISBUSINESS! I made the catastrophic mistake of stopping into this place for a haircut. First, there was not another customer anywhere near the place(clue #1). As soon as I walked in one of the other stylists came out of the back in tears(?!)(clue #2) and eventually Enrique, the(no) stylist stuck dealing with customers came out and asked me if I needed something. A haircut(?). So I sit and he proceeds to give me the worst haircut i have ever had in my life. When he was«done» I asked him if he could take the sides in a little closer(to tamp down some of the damage he did) and his reply was«I suppose I could but I don’t think it would look very good», and walked off to the register to await my money. I registered my experience with their online feedback… in the parking lot after i left… no response. Nothing. This guy was visibly put out at having to work… and more focused on what is obviously the norm for employee drama in this freak show.(the tears and some hushed bickering occured between the blubbering stylist and the«manager» the entire time i was there). And not once did another customer get near this place in spite of it being mid-week…mid-afternoon in an otherwise crowded shopping center. What a nightmare! Avoid it like the plague.

A ripoff!!! Sign says $ 12 haircut for men and they guy charged me $ 18.95, and he barely cut anything. All I got was a headache from his dulled scissors. I will no longer go there! Ripoff!!!

Have been going here for some time… but as always I find everyone very slow. I had one person in front of me, 3 stylist and I waited 1 hour before I left. Some of the stylist are very slow, I have even heard other stylist comment that they have done two cuts to some of the others one cut and need to step up.

So I’ve been to this salon numerous times and Scott I do believe has always done my hair, always a great cut and pleasant but this time I went in and Bella and a new stylist were the only two there. Bella has to be the most rude and unprofessional person I’ve ever met. I was over charged, ignored, and lied to. Very disappointing.

I came to the salon a few years ago after a stylist at another salon had fried my hair during a highlight. My hair was so dry and broken off in the middle. Scott instantly came up with a plan to restore my hair’s health. Within a few months my hair was beautiful! Scott suggests the best products for me without being too pushy. He is always kind, professional and fun! The best stylist i have ever known even though I use to always go to expensive downtown salons. I am8 definitely a client for life!

First time at this location(and at any establishment) since my dedicated stylist moved out of Austin, so I’m a little rocky on salon etiquette. Overall — it was clean, and professional. I got my hair cut with Olga. She was professional and quick. I am not that great at explaining what I want but brought a photo of a past hair style(on me) and asked for that. I think she misunderstood because I didn’t get the short in back/long in front raked style I was looking for but a less dramatic«bob» type. It still turned out cute, so I’m not mad, but I guess if you go here, you need to be really specific about what you want. I’m usually not too picky since I’ve gone through so many hairstyles I like, I feel like I can pull off anything. I had reviewed their prices online(what brought me in in the first place), and noticed when I was checking out that there was a $ 5 «Miscellaneous» charge. When I asked her what that was, she said it was for the hairdry. Considering I didn’t ask for her to dry/style and you can’t really even see if the haircut is done correctly(as in — neither one of us can tell/touch up) I found it kinda rude that there was a charge tacked on at the end without my approval. If she’d told me during the cut and asked if I wanted it styled for $ 5, I would have said yes, but I really don’t appreciate finding out about extra charges at the checkout counter when the service has already been completed. I’m not saying I won’t go back, but I’ll definitely be asking for a different stylist.

I usually go to another location but decided to stop here since I was in the area. The place looked nice and I was greeted warmly by Andy. I told him what I wanted but evidently he wasn’t listening. I asked for a wet cut… just to trim my layers. He said we would do a shampoo, conditioning, & style as if I didn’t know what I wanted. I told him I didn’t want all that because I was going to the gym and it would be a waste. He asked if I wanted to come back after the gym to do it… uh, NO! I got up out of the chair and told him I didn’t want or need anything beyond what I asked for. I ended up getting a good cut but beware of Andy. He’s a shark! Next time I’ll go to the one at Hancock Center and see Tony… he’s the best!

Elva took care of me today for my $ 10 men’s day(Tuesdays) haricut. As per usual, no fus, no bother. She is nice, clean in her technique, and quick. I was in and out of there in 25 minutes.
