Texas Wholesale Stone

My wife and I have used TWS for the last two years for various projects around the house. Mulch, soil, sandstone for steps around our deck, Mexico stone for path steps, and limestone around our trees. The staff have always been helpful in answering questions, helping load our truck, & giving recommendations for various uses. Their new location is easy to get to & the new office/​trailer is an improvement over the last one.
Highly recommend them for someone interested in projects around the house.

They were so helpful and I’ve done a patio and now working on my Koi pond. Eric and Kathy helped so much. What would have costed was at least ¹⁄₃ cost.

This is a great place to get landscaping supplies. Great value and easily accessible.

Yikes! The gals that work at Texas Wholesale Stone have the worst customer service skills!
I ordered limestone paving stones from TWS and had to wait two weeks beyond the scheduled delivery date, and when I called to inquire about the delivery my calls were not returned. After our initial delivery, we needed a few more stones to complete our project. Against my better judgement we returned to purchase additional stones from TWS because I wanted them to match the first batch of stones. Again, the gal was so rude I just left without purchasing.
My advice, find another stone supplier. There are several on RR620!

Watch out they will sell you more than you need and wont but any of it back from you… they over sold me about $ 200 worth of extra, and now I have to dispose of It somehow…
So…start with a smaller amount and go back for more if you need more.

This is going to sound weird so I’ll just say it. I like rocks. I like rocks but had a bad rock experience when it came to doing a walk for our house years ago… so I’ve not gotten more rock to finish some work that was much needed. Apparently I didn’t just get the wrong rock… I went to the wrong place all those years ago. I am not sure Texas Wholesale was here then… I’m pretty sure they weren’t but I’m glad I found them now. They have a lot of selection, will let you run around the lot like you’re at summer camp, their prices are reasonable (I have nothing to compare to of any worth so reasonable is based upon my expectations). We bought the most beautiful 2′ limestone flagstones to cover an area at the end of our pool and have now decided the pad will need to grow to replace some of the older stonework… we’ll be back today for another ton of rock… the owner was helpful and helped ensure we were getting the right stone (obviously we hadn’t in our prior experience) and directed us away from stone we would have regretted later for our scenario, even though it was more expensive. I appreciate someone focusing on the long term, rather than the immediate gain of a few dollars more. That means I’ll come back… like I am today! If you’re looking for landscaping stone, this is a great place to start… not the other places… start here. I wish I had years ago.
