went here the first time because of an ad on craigslist saying Sunday 1.00 a piece St. Augusting Sod only to get charged full price, so much for driving a few extra miles for a ‘sale’. If I’d had mentioned the ad maybe they would have honored but the fact they just charged regular turned me off. Too bad given I just got a light order to patch up a small area with the big full yard job coming up which I’ll go elsewhere to stock.

Had a good experience buying the dillo dirt from this store before, so I went ahead to place the order of two pallets of St Augustine sods without second thought.
The order was placed at closing of the first day, and picked up in the afternoon of the second day. Big portion of sods are yellow — not just with yellow spots, but YELLOW. Landscaper confessed he would have rejected it should he have checked it.
Called the store. Was told it is normal because they got the delivery in the morning of first day. Store said they do not offer any kind of warranty and it is completely my problem now. I never had sods in this bad shape. Landscaper suspected the sods were sitting in their yard for definitely more than 2 days.
Anyway, I just cannot trust this store any more.
Update: landscaper bought another pallet for me the second day, from King’s ranch the second, for $ 5 more. This rating is lowered due to the vast difference between those.
