Worst Sonic ever! Less than 5 min from my house, so it’s convenient, but I am willing to drive 15 min to the next nearest Sonic because this location is awful as far as service goes. I have always waited at LEAST15 min after I order for the food to come out, and the last 4 out of 5 times I’ve been there, they didn’t have what I wanted! What they are kind of known for! The slush machine is down, or the ice cream mixer isn’t working, or we are backed up on ice cream so it would be 20 a min wait. Prepare yourselves, Sonic!

Came here on a Sunday when it wasn’t that busy and ordered 1 slushie. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes for it. I wanted to ask what the hold up was just in case they had a machine issue or a problem that was making the wait but I didn’t want them getting mad and ending up spitting in my drink. You can’t really trust any place with just a bunch of teenagers working there

I like sonic but this location is a mess. The service is incredibly slow, they have gotten simple orders wrong, even when they’re just normal burgers with no modifications. A few days ago I showed up and sat at the screen for 10 – 15 minutes with no response from the people inside after pressing the button a number of times. For some reason they have the drive-thru blocked off 99 percent of the time. If he food is right, it’s delicious. So for that, you get two stars. The fact I’ve got to take a gamble by coming here is sad.

The cashier taking the order could not get the order right to save his life! When we asked for a specific drink he could not find what it was, he rang up the wrong drink, when asked what was in the drink he responded he didn’t know. Awful experience.

How can you mess up a Lime Slush with Nerds? It has a lime, but doesn’t have much of a lime taste. Nerds? A pinch of nerds is what they put in. Service is also slow, always. If you order just drinks that can take 10 minutes. order food may take 15 – 20

I waited 25 minutes for a kids meal with a grilled cheese and never got it. It wasn’t even a busy time of day, maybe around 2:30. I had places to be, so I pushed the order button to let them know I never got my order and took off. Needless to say I very annoyed for wasting my time and going without lunch on top of it. Won’t be back.

This is the worst Sonic I have ever been too. Ever. The three times that I have ordered here out of convenience, each time was awful. First of all, the staff. Your staff is extremely rude. I have encountered exactly one friendly person(he was on the night shift). The last time I ordered, a woman opened the drive-thru window asked me if I had fries, corn dog, and popcorn chicken. When I said that I did not order fries or a corn dog she shut the window without saying anything else and started laughing. There was obnoxious laughter from the inside and it seemed like no one was actually working. I wasn’t asked if I wanted ketchup or any condiments and I wasn’t even given the traditional Sonic mint in my bag. Another time I ordered, I received the worst fries I have ever eaten. They were stale, and SO salty. Basically they just re-fried old fries that had been sitting out instead of making them fresh — then salted them a second time.

Worst crap I have ever had. I was looking forward to some sonic. This location has an atmosphere of less, the employees weren’t happy the place looks like it’s about to go out of business. The food was very anti sonic. Lowest quality ever. Shut this location down before other people go there and it ends up making them never want sonic again. Gross

I like Sonic… in fact we get drinks there quite often. This location is not the closest to our house, but we stop by there from time to time. I have no idea why, but the service at this location is crazy slow. Last time I was there, we ordered two regular drinks and paid with our card. 10 – 12 minutes go by, and I finally had to push the button to find out where our drinks were. Guy said the«hops» were running behind, and they brought it right out. Funny thing was that it really was not very full… I’ll be going to the location on McNeil from now on.

the most incompetent group of individuals here. my first experience here it took almost 10 minutes of constantly trying to repeat my order which was a simple banana split cake sundae and hot fudge sundae but the guy on the speaker didnt seem to comprehend the the banana split sundae as if it was something he had never heard of before.(Hey Bro, learn the menu) my carhop, almost busted her face 2x on her skates and almost took out my sideview mirror. i literally told her she should leave the skates inside. it’s not worth the extra dollar an hour sweetie if you don’t live til the end of your shift. today was absolutely brutal. i ordered the number 1 and number 4 combo. i specifically stressed NOTOMATO on the number one. it only had tomato on it when they brought it to me. my cheese tots with the number 4 was cold, the cheese was like glue, way over steamed and i also asked for ranch dressing on my tots which she read back to me on the speaker. of course that didnt happen. i could live without the ranch but the cold, glued tots were just gross, had to toss them. my green apple sprite was a just a sprite and when i sent it back it came back with more syrup than actual sprite. worst of all, my total was oddly high. why? because they didnt give me my combo discount for either the number 1 or number 4. i paid for everything individually. i worked at a sonic for almost 3 years. it’s not a complicated job. the speaker system is so frikken simple its really hard to screw up as badly as these people manage to do every frikken time. if it wasnt the only one close by and i if i didnt love their tea so much id take my business elsewhere. you guys suck. nothing makes me more made than spending money on food thats not even edible. FAIL!

I’m usually not much of a Unilocaler but I had to write a review today because this is probably the third time at this location, and it hasn’t improved. Today was the worst of them all. We went to the drive thru lane and we had someone come over the speaker inaudible and then never got a reply. We sat there for over 5 minutes with no one on the line. We decided to go to the covered drive thru and order our food. We sat there for the next 30 minutes and it wasn’t even that busy. No apology for taking so long either. We also asked for ranch dressing and the carhop said, «they put two in there.» We checked the bag and there was only one. The least you could do is be courteous after taking so long. At least the food was hot, but I am tired of this Sonic taking so long for orders. This is the slowest Sonic I have been to, and the times I have went, it’s because it’s so close to my house. I think I will be calling corporate for this one.

Worst sonic in austin. Messed up my order 3 out of 3 times in 2 weeks. They replaced the first two orders and when i called about the third order i was told the cook doesnt speak english and doesnt understand the menue. I wont be going back here again.
