They took me in totally last minute and fixed my serious case of unibrow. The gentleman at the counter was very sweet and helpful. Tran shaped my brows and did a fabulous job! If I lived in Austin I would go there for my brows.

We had a girls trip with my sisters this past weekend, and decided to stay at Lakeway Resort and pamper ourselves at San Saba spa. The Friday before we were heading down, I realized that their had been a mistake in booking our services, and that our contact had scheduled us all for Sunday instead of Saturday, and for some reason, I didn’t catch it! The spa manager quickly fixed the situation for us and managed to reschedule almost all of our services on Saturday instead of Sunday. It was already a busy Saturday, and we had 18 services between the six of us, so I know that was not an easy feat! I think they had to call in emergency help, so THANKYOU to those masseuses and aestheticians that came in on your off day. Hailey, Mandy, Amber and everyone else there were all so nice and helpful — they even gave us a private room so we could hang out together and eat lunch in between our services. Its a bit pricey but definitely worth it — the view, services, and amenities are all fantastic! Hopefully we will be able to have another sisters retreat next year, and we will make sure to get the dates right!

My husband and I got away for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We booked the special they were running for two 80 min massage with lunch. I had Jason for my massage, and it was one if the best massages I’ve had in a long time. The lunch was ok nothing special, but I would recommend this spa

My mother in law and I went together thinking we would have some girl time. It was definitely a place to be for some royal treatment. As it was stated in other reviews, this spa is pricey BUT I will go back and pay for their services in a heartbeat. The moment we were greeted by Hailey, our concierge, we knew we were going to be treated like super stars. She was very informative and helped us substitute other treatments in place of the ones that came with our package. My masseuse Natalia, was awesome and I was a pile of mush after the deep tissue when she was done-in the best possible way. The lumafirm wrap was also very relaxing. My only suggestion would be to not dry out the grilled chicken we had for lunch but it was smothered with thick bacon and beautiful avocados, so to make up for the chicken. By the end of the day we decided this was to be done again. Thank you San Saba Spa for a lovely day!

I walked in and met the manager of the spa and asked her some questions about the services there. She met me with the rudess manner and arrogance. She sounded like she was German. She looked at me with such distain like a Nazi looks at a Jew in interment camps. I would not go to this spa. It is out of the Way and the prices are sky high. I have heard other people comment that they did not feel comfortable in this spa. I went instead to Austin Massage Clinic and they have friendly people and surroundings with trees and creek beds.

I walked in a little skeptical, since services at resorts are meh & overpriced in many cases. The staff had informed us we could come a half hour early if we wanted to enjoy the dry sauna, so I did. It was well designed and conveniently located in the women’s room. Then John took me in for my hot rock massage. I wanted to try something besides than the painful sports massages I usually indulge in. I started off feeling like«this ain’t gonna cure any pain», but 20 minutes into it, I was asleep. Asleep. A state I have never reached in a massage or during acupuncture. I’m immune to sleeping while getting any therapeutic done. And yet, I was nodding off under John’s excellent hot rock massage. My skepticism was thankfully unfounded. Not only was the massage experience great, their lounge was a wonderful area to continue relaxation with hot tea, and I felt great everywhere the rest of the day. Viva San Saba!

Very beautiful and a great experience! I was not prepared for the level of luxury I experienced at this spa and it would have been awesome to stay there and hang out all day in their bathrobes and monogrammed slippers getting multiple services. The thing is you PAY for that leisure time! They have this gorgeous room where you wait between services and it is like Pottery Barn/Restoration Hardware heaven. Cucumber water, soothing music, lounging chairs, and a view of the lake and the pool. If you want to go somewhere for an all day get away and don’t mind spending a grand I would highly recommend this spa. My friend and I were visiting the hotel for her birthday and wanted an hour of relaxation in between eating, drinking, and laying out by the pool at the hotel.(Yes, I do get that all of that is relaxation and reiterates my point that the spa was an unnecessary addition.) For us, the Swedish massages were over-priced($ 120ish for 50-minutes), the clothing change was unnecessary, and we were too distracted by the pool to use the leisure room to the max. Oh, and I’m pretty sure my Swedish massage was given by an actual Swedish woman… which I want to give props for, but come on… it’s pretty over the top. If that’s what you dig — do it!

What a treat it is, to get a mani and pedi at this beautiful spa. I have been to San Saba many times over the years and always leave feeling relaxed and pampered. I love that their nail room over looks Lake Travis and their swimming pools. It makes for great people watching. If you get the chance, stop by and see Amber, she is simply amazing at what she does. I always look forward to her awesome foot and hand massages. I cant wait for my next pedicure with her.

I love to relax; but, seriously a massage package that includes a complimentary margarita? Only in Lakeway for the stressed out Soccer Moms maybe? I am not a soccer Mom but I am 99% sure I would need a margarita with my massage if I was one. I got the«Head to Toe Tequila Treatment» that begins with a sea salt & lime zest scrub followed by a 60 minute aromatherapy massage that«treats all your senses to the medicinal properties of the agave plant» and includes a complimentary margarita. I could not pass on the free margarita — it was very unnecessary but led to some fun talk with my very cute massage girl…
