Garden of Zen Day Spa

I have been going to Garden of Zen for my pedicure for over 5 years. Shari is such a sweet lady and friendly to talk to. She gives a great spa pedicure complete with exfoliation and massage. My polish stays looking pretty for several weeks. On top of the great service and my pretty feet, they have never gone up in price in all the years I have been going.
Also, the location is quiet and relaxing. I have not used their other services — only pedicures. I highly recommend Garden of Zen Day Spa.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but since I came here to get a massage after reading all the great reviews I felt that it was my duty. Of the 5 or so massages I have had, this was the worst. The guy I had was sick with some sort of cold and KEPT breathing on my face– which doesn’t really make for a relaxing atmosphere. I also felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable due to feeling exposed. At one part, he was trying to crack my back & twisted me so far I am fairly certain he saw my anus (& I was wearing granny panties for modesty) — he also didn’t try at all to keep me covered, which doesn’t help me to feel comfortable or relaxed. He also did some very weird methods that almost had me laughing out loud. Dude, no. More about the atmosphere– this was in some sort of shared space complex… which is fine, however, another party arrived in the middle of our couples massage & it was impossible to relax bc we could hear everything they were saying… get some soundproof walls, yo. My husband had a woman that went as far as getting on his back. She was very rough, but if you want deep tissue (we didn’t order that), she could be good.
All in all, I do not recommend this place if you are wanting to escape reality and feel really calm when you leave.

I, and several family members and friends, have been going to Patricia Vaughn for massage therapy for years. She’s WONDERFUL!
