I decided to sign up for spin classes here because it’s close to me and where I work. It’s located at the Lamar Union, which is the same retail space as Medici Coffee, Shake Shack, the Alamo Drafthouse, etc. I’m still on a long road to recovery from my ankle injury I sustained more than a month ago. To me, a spin class will help me get back to shape after a long time without exercising at all. The instructor, Kat, helped me adjust my bike when I took my first class. The enthusiasm helped while I was working up a sweat and building up my cardio. During the spin class, there’s a pause to do circuit weight training with two/three pound weights which believe it or not you do get a workout. Then there’s also a spin/yoga class combination which is great because you get a good cardio workout plus you get to stretch out. Of course, there are yoga classes which I have yet to sign up for. They have lockers and two showers in their facility along with one spinning room and a yoga studio. I highly recommend trying Resolute Fitness because the classes I have taken so far have been great for my recovery from my injury.

I went to Resolute Fitness the 1st week it was open and it quickly became my favorite. I mainly cycle but I have taken a half cycle half yoga class and loved it. Resolute always has the equipment you need for the cycle and yoga classes. The instructors there are great and are always happy to help and be there. My biggest pet peeve is the music I ride to, I have had two different instructors and both kept me hyped! Overall great work out every time! My whole experience at Resolute Fitness was one of the best!!!

I attended a 6AM class here one weekday. They had some issues getting shoes for everyone there so I ended up wearing men’s shoes which were ok. The bikes are Schwinn bikes which I’ve ridden at other studios before and which I’m not crazy about — they always feel a bit rickety. I really liked the teacher for my class — she was really good about adjusting the bikes to everyone for fit and gave good cues during our ride. She did turn the fans on immediately though which ended up being really cold until about 10 minutes into our ride. The music wasn’t my favorite and the lights could have been somewhat lower. Overall, I wasn’t crazy about the class but I did like the teacher so I would go back.
