Well, I’ll update if this situation is ever remedied but I ordered food for delivery over the phone exactly two hours ago and was quoted 45 – 60 mins. I called back at the one hour mark and was informed that our food was ready but they were waiting for the delivery driver to come back. Called again 30 mins after that and asked to speak to a manager — they said he was busy and I explained the situation to the woman on the phone and let her know that at this point I wanted to cancel my order. She said «well your order is already with the delivery driver so what do you want me to do?» Good lord. Give some good customer service — that’s what I want you to do.

I ordered from this place yesterday. Pricy for mediocre food. My «wings» we’re just soggy chicken tenders that were covered in buffalo sauce. Not wings. No bones. Don’t go here for wings. Go somewhere good

There are dive bars, and then there’s this place.
The first time I came here was for karaōke night. I hadn’t eaten dinner yet, and around 9:00 I ordered some wings. Despite the fact that no one else in the whole place was ordering food, somehow it took about an hour for them to get the wings out to me, which were cold and gross by the time they got to my table. I’m normally a generous tipper, but in rare cases of exceptionally bad service I will make an exception. This was one. I left no tip and vowed never to return.
Fast forward to a year and a half later, and I get invited to this place again. It was after a 10 mile race I had just run with a bunch of friends, and this was the place everyone wanted to go. I told them my story of the terrible service I had received the first time, and they assured me it must have been bad luck and I decided to give them another chance. Sure enough, the service was just as terrible the 2^nd time. Our waiter looked shell shocked and confused the entire time. After asking him for a shrimp po boy about 10 times in a row, I had to explain to him that it was a sandwich on the menu — the one that had shrimp in it. Orders were forgotten, water and drinks were never filled, and the whole table of 8 people agreed that we would not be returning.
The food was almost decent enough to garner a 2^nd star, but I simply can’t recommend that anyone come here after the awful service I’ve received.

My last visit was great. Daytime bartender amber was quick and enthusiastic. Didn’t have anything to eat, but liquor was good. Decent pour not strong not weak… just right. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking. Oh yeah… no more groupon. They have signs everywhere saying this.

I love ufc fight nights here I have not had a bad experience so far so good. Food is good as well I eat the 10 inch pizza & some lemon pepper wings.

Used to love this place. Service is not great at times, bartenders are young & distracted but the beer is good & the wings are great. Needs some updating & remodeling done.

My favorite place to stop after work and have a drink… kitchen is open late, people are amazing and friendly.

Horriable! They did give us our money back, however I feel totally ill, and still didn’t have dinner. Why would you even let this go out to a costomer. Disgusted, they clearly aren’t taking any pride in their food or costumers. Never again!

Simple to go pick up order. Fried pickles. Waited 12 minutes, they weren’t ready when I got there. They forgot the requested dipping sauce. and there wasn’t even anyone in there. I don’t know what happened or what changed, but the caliber of this place has gone down a bit.

Smells like the inside of a restroom. Seriously it was so bad I couldn’t get past it. Wings were mediocre. Drink special was good but the quality of the drinks reflected the epitome of cheap «Drink special» drinks. Won’t be back.

New owners and they are awesome and have already made significant improve: like the transition to a «fresh kitchen» and that awful stale beer smell is gone. We will def. Come back. Things are really looking up!

Wings were okay. Burgers are big, but the quality of ingredients is a little lack luster. Unfortunately, RC Fowlers is one of the few places that delivers pretty late in my area, so it is what it is. I would only eat here if I were desparate for food, and didn’t want to drive anywhere to get it.

I ordered delivery last night at about 815 and our food arrived cold, i spend almost 70 dollars and the food was mediocre at best. we ordered 2 orders of the fried twinkies bc we love fried twinkies, i took one bite and oil gushed out of it, it was disgusting. bc it was cold we threw 70 dollars in the trash. i used to come here when it first opened years ago, this is nothing like it used to be now. save your money, dont come here, id ask for my money back if it wasnt such a hassle.

Called in a to go order of wings, onion rings, and fries The wings were just ok, nothing special about them. The onion rings were so greasy! I took a bite and grease literally gushed out! Same for the fries, a greasy mess.
They didn’t put ketchup, plastic ware, or napkins in the bag.
I don’t think I’ll give them another try. It was overall a disappointing meal.

Great wing place and good happy hour. We wanted some heat, so we got the atomic buffalo and the atomic terriyaki. Both were really good, we asked for the wings to be crispy and they did a great job getting them just like we like them. We got a basket of sweet potato fries, and they were the best I’ve had.
Our server was great, wish I’d got her name for a shout out, but she kept the drinks full and she checked on us often. We were here on a Saturday, but we’ll be back on Monday or Tuesday for their half priced wings, what a deal. Domestic pints were 2.50 during happy hour, not bad at all.
The place has a bar feel to it, which doesnt bother me at all. There were obvious regulars at the bar, and they seemed like a good bunch. There were a few families starting to show up as we were leaving. I liked the place, and we’ll deinately be back.

This place makes some fantastic wings.
Ambiance is more of a throwback to the 1980’s-90’s but the drinks are well poured and the food is great.
Hit this place on a Monday or Tuesday and you’ve got wings at half price. This will be my go to spot for my next chicken fix. The spicy ranch wings are great.
Lots of local regulars keep the spot friendly. Servers are attentive and service was on spot.

The place looks like a big bar with lots of seating, pool tables and TV’s. We sat ourselves and they served us pretty quickly.
I had the mozzarella mushroom burger and it was cooked thoroughly and tasted good. My husband had the honey habanero wings but they weren’t spicy at all. I am not one for spicy, tried it and it wasn’t even spicy for me but the taste was good. I also had the honey BBQ wings. They were good even reheated and I like that they weren’t soggy.
The blue moon beer I ordered wasn’t nicely chilled nor was it garnished with an orange.
Overall, the service was friendly and the wings and burgers were good. They have very good specials.

So I just ordered boneless wings from this place today. I hadn’t read any of the reviews prior or I would have gotten lunch from somewhere else…
Boneless Wings were under cooked and still had blood in them.
Waffle fries were drenched in oil but not fried all the way, couldn’t finish.
I also ordered the southwest eggrolls, which were ok but again not cooked and the outside was kinda chewy and doey. The queso was good that the eggrolls came with, but that’s the only decent thing that I got.
All in all, pretty disappointing.

Service was ok, but the wings, the gilled ones were very greasy. The fried had a very bland and bready tasting batter. I think they must come in a big bag from a food service company. Taste like the ones you buy as a store brand at HEB. Onion rings were good. Bill $ 20 for 8 free wings with coupon, a four piece grilled wing with $ 1.50 for sweet potato fries and a half order of onion rings. We drank water.
No need to go back, most places have better wings.

Large portions of chicken wings and huge beers for $ 5? This is a great place for north Austin if you want to switch it up from the Pluckers/​BWWs same ol’ stuff.
It’s true, this place is not as big and shiny as others, but I prefer that ambiance… sometimes. I’ve never seen it dirty or gross, so maybe some of the other reviewers were just a bit sensitive or had expectations for something other than a simple, friendly neighborhood wing and sport bar.
Most nights I have been here I have seen poker as well as karaōke. There is a pool table, and a long bar. There are both tables and booths, with plenty of TVs to show all the good sports. The staff will even try finding your game for you if it’s on.
The staff has always been very nice and helpful in my experience. The food and drinks have also not been expensive — very affordable for how good the food is. I also noticed they recently updated their menus so maybe its time to try it out again if you haven’t been in a while.
This place is close to the corner of Lake Creek Pkwy and 620, just a couple roads down from where 620 and 183 intersect.
Actually, while writing this I think I’ll do my Lowes trip and stop in for a pint and some wings!
