Great selection, amazing prices and very friendly staff. They were not pushy, very courteous and even delivered our sofa’s on the same day! High recommend, best prices in Austin!

What a find! My son and I stumbled upon this place while shopping for furniture for his college apartment. We found just what we needed at the right price and Robert was so incredibly helpful in laying out all our options and helping us stay within our budget. The fact that he went to Texas State and was familiar with where my son lives in San Marcos just made the experience that much more personal. I love patronizing locally owned/​family-​owned businesses and these guys are the real deal. They even offer delivery to San Marcos for a very reasonable flat fee. My son will have his furniture two days after purchase and what I thought was going to be a very grueling ordeal (shopping all over town, having to assemble crappy furniture from IKEA, multiple trips to haul it there, etc.), turned out to be a very pleasant experience. Check them out, especially if you are on a tight budget but want to furnish your place with some decent stuff.

Every time I come here, I get awesome deals. I love that it’s family owned so it cuts down on all the corporate overhead. You can be certain when you shop here, you’re getting the best deal. The delivery is always quick (within 1 – 2 business days) and on time, which is even more awesome. I’ll be back soon to complete my living room set! Thanks y’all :D

This place has great prices on beds, couches, and tables. The only drawback is their selection can be a bit limited relatively.
However, their customer service was great and they only charge you one delivery fee regardless of how much furniture you buy.

If you are in the market for ANY piece or set of furniture, you’d be crazy not to spend a few minutes visiting with the incredible Rob (I guess one of the «R“‘s) at R&R Discount Furniture.
For nearly two months I had been browsing bedroom sets for my new place… and after visiting one of the «superstores» found the exact one I was looking for. I was about three days away from making the purchase when, after having lunch nearby at Ramen-​Tatsuya, I decided to pop into this little furniture store in the middle of North Austin’s Asian Marketplace.
And I’m SO GLAD I DID.
Mr. Rob was kind enough to visit with me for nearly an hour… he asked me questions about the space I was using that (a) nobody else had thought to ask, and (b) I never would have thought of myself. Together we sat down and leafed through some catalogues until I found the exact set I had picked out at the «other» store.
Rob asked me what I had been quoted — and then beat their price by $ 400!
FOUR HUNDRED BUCKS! I saved enough there to purchase brand new sheets, pillows, and blankets for the bed.
R&R will have my business forever.

We stumbled upon this place when just sampling «googling» for some more reasonably priced furniture stores in Austin. We were greeted with enthusiasm and helpfulness by the owner! He was able to get us the furniture we wanted for next day pick up and even offered to assemble for us for FREE (you’d never get that at one of the large, chain furniture stores). We loved our experience so much we went back the next weekend and bought 3 tables and were just as pleased to find what we wanted, great quality, and a totally reasonable price. Would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out.

Friendly service, great prices, and awesome furniture… overall a great place for furniture shopping! I found R&R on Unilocal and went there to look for a couch. I got a great deal on a couch that I love, along with a really nice bookshelf for a great price. Robert was super helpful and nice throughout the process. My couch was delivered the very same day and the delivery guys were friendly as well.
I will definitely be returning for more furniture in the future!

I stumbled across this furniture store after grabbing lunch at Din Ho Chinese BBQ. I’d been considering purchasing a new couch, but hadn’t found one that I liked AND was in my price range. I’m so glad I came across R&R! I found the perfect sofa and it was on sale. Robert was persuasive, but not pushy.
I needed to get rid of my (then) current sofa before I could take delivery on the new couch, so Robert suggested that I pay half on the couch that day to lock in the price. Then, when I was able to get rid of the old couch, to call him to arrange delivery and pay for the rest of the couch. Sounded great to me! After paying half on the couch, I looked around at the dining sets, and saw one that I liked. I didn’t purchase it that day, but it stayed on my mind.
A week or so later, I decided that I wanted the dining set and couch, but didn’t want to deal with the hassle of selling them on Craigslist or something. So, when I went pay the remaining balance on the couch and purchase the dining set, Robert said the delivery men would haul off the old sofa and dining set (for free). Sweet!
The delivery men arrived the next day, and were very prompt and professional during the delivery and set up. The $ 60 delivery charge was very reasonable, especially since my apartment is on the 3^rd floor. :-) I’m a big proponent of shopping locally, and the next time I’m in the market for new furniture, I will definitely stop at R&R first.

I just bought my first living room set here and I couldn’t have had a better experience. As soon as you walk in you are at ease in this store, no high pressure sales people just the friendly, knowledgeable manager Robert there to answer all of your questions. He made the process so easy with such a personal feel I’ll be back to buy all my furniture there. Aside from what you see in the showroom they have stacks of catalogs with items they can special order for you. The prices truly can’t be beat either and include great warranties.

I didn’t even buy anything here and I’m giving this place 4 stars. The service here was so friendly. I never felt like I was getting pushed over or that the sales staff was aggressive. My wife and I were looking for a couch and wanted to browse around. The staff was very hands off while we looked, but very helpful and responsive with any questions we had.
When we couldn’t find quite what we wanted, they politely offered to check online for other options for us that they may be getting in soon. Even once we couldn’t find something there, we didn’t have that awkward feeling of leaving a store and not buying anything.
