Papa John’s Pizza

Great pizza. Also, Derek (I believe) answered the phone and took our order. He was extremely friendly, thorough and helpful. So often we’ve had bad experiences because the people we ordered from weren’t paying attention or just sounded like we were bothering them. So thank you!

Five stars for what it is.
I’ve never ordered delivery because as a general rule it’s usually going to suck, regardless of where it’s from. Pick up is a breeze, though. I head over as soon as I place my order online (takes about 8 mins. door to door) and it’s always ready (or almost ready) as soon as I arrive.
Pro tip: Sign up for their emails! They often send 50% off coupons for their entire menu. Large pizzas are as low as $ 6 and you can add chicken wings, brownies, or whatever else your heart desires for half off.

F*ck it dude it was good pizza. Only one decent enough that will deliver to me in Riverside area. I couldn’t tell you the last time I ordered delivery pizza nor eaten Pappa Johns. If there was other options like a local place that would deliver Id chose it but honestly i was very happy.
My friend and I used the large 2 topping pizza for $ 17.99. That’s a good price! And we each had pizza for days.
And I’m vegan and kitted cheese and a lot of times aces will like burn the crust or not cook it long enough and they didn’t. It was perf. And I love a good crust and there crust is pretty damn good.
Will order again.

Great service! Spoke to a dude on the phone. He was very helpful and found us the best deal. The order was delivered within 20 minutes and the food was delicious!

Raising the pizza bar, 1 order of cheesesticks and garlic sauce at a time. We called after not receiving garlic sauce with our cheesesticks, expecting maybe a coupon. the manager explained that policy recently changed and that only 1 garlic sauce comes per order (instead of 1 per cheesesticks) which we received… but they still sent over extra sauce AND cheesesticks.
Great customer service and always speedy delivery. These people deserve an award!

Best word to describe my experience is HORRIFIC. Hands down the worst experience with any restaurant/​pizzeria/​Papa John’s ever; congrats to them on that.
Here’s how my experience went. Ordered a pizza with a delivery time of 30 minutes. 45 minutes later I call Papa Johns and wait for 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone (no one even picked up to ask me to hold). When I explain my pizza never arrived the guy gets me to Raven the manager. That girl is a mess. She has several excuses and versions of the story — the pizza hasn’t been made, the pizza left an hour ago, etc. I told her I didn’t want a pizza that had been in a car for an hour and that a refund would be fine. She refuses the refund offers me free breadsticks on my next order. Not only am I not planning to order from them ever again, but she still hasn’t addressed when the pizza is coming. She then hangs up on me. Sweet! I call back, because I have no pizza and no refund, another 10 minutes before someone answers. The guy that answers puts Matt the manager on the phone. Matt is possibly a bigger jerk than Raven. Who do these people think they are? I’m being treated like I’m the crazy one, but I have no refund and no pizza. He tells me the driver tried to deliver the pizza, but couldn’t get to my building because of construction. Umm how do they think I get to my building every day? There is one side street closed off and at least 4 other ways including the main way I can think of to get to the building with zero construction. But here’s what really irks me — NO ONE CALLED ME! The delivery guy didn’t call when he was at my building «in construction» and the store didn’t call once he returned with my pizza. That’s absolutely ridiculous and incredibly shady. I also didn’t receive an e-​mail. It states on their confirmation e-​mail if there is a problem with an order they will call you first and e-​mail you if you cannot be reached via phone. They did neither and I had to BEG for a refund. It was seriously customer service at it’s worst. This place no doubt deserves zero stars.

I traveled to Austin and decided to get a pizza .This is the worst Papa John’s Pizza Ever. I called for delivery and ordered 1 small cheese pizza, waited for more than hour and when i call them they was like «couple of minutes and they will arrive sir» after 1 hour and 15 minutes i got my pizza and it was cold. I had to reheat it in the microwave to eat it. If there were less than 1 star i could give.

Love PJ, but i guess their phones must be broken. tried calling 3x in the past hour, been on hold over 5 min each time. Ended up going to Dominos.

Worst ever.
We ordered a large pizza at 2.12 pm using the online system. We got back an email that said our pizza would be delivered in 30 – 40 minutes. The email said if had concerns or our pizza did not arrived in the specified timeframe to call the Papa John’s and if that was unsuccessful to call corporate. I called the local store 4 times. I never got an answer. The phone rang and rang one time, the next time I got a busy signal, the 3^rd time I got a recording that cycled for 5 minutes and then disconnected me, and the 4^th time I got a busy signal. At this point. It was past 3pm and there was no word of our pizza. I contacted corporate, the rep was also unable to get the local store on the line. She advised me that she would cancel our order. We went ahead and ordered from Pizza Hut at this point. Our pizza was ready at 3.45pm. So, about 4.15pm Papa John’s shows up at the house with the pizza in hand. We are plowing through our pizza hut pizza at this point. I told him we called corporate and the local office, explained the situation, and that we were told the pizza had been cancelled. His response, «I“m not suprised, we are amazingly busy.» He then gave me a bit more attitude before leaving. Again, I told him i wasn’t interested and he left. At no point, did corporate or the driver offer to make it right, I wasn’t expecting free but maybe a coupon for next time or an apology. It wasn’t my fault that they didn’t delver it for 2 hours and that corporate didn’t cancel the pizza when we called after an hour had elapsed.

Placed an
order for carryout at 11:00 AM (I like to eat lunch early). Had a coupon code for a free large 1 topping and a 2 liter Pepsi product so I decided to try it out.
Got to the store at 11:15 and my hot fresh pineapple pizza was ready. It was prepared exactly to the specifications I selected: extra sauce, light cheese, lots of pineapple-​y goodness.
All of that for $ 0 it felt like a steal. A great Papa John’s experience. I forgot to ask for crushed pepper but it seems like that’s something that should just come in the box.

Their delivery time is lightning fast and every driver I have encountered has been very cordial. I find it pretty rad that I don’t even have to leave my computer desk to order pizza through their website.

I love papa’s I just wish they had more veggie toppings and possibly a side salad for delivery.

I love Papa John’s Pizza and would do anything to get a slice. Guess I won’t be getting a slice from this location. After waiting an hour + for my pizza, decided to call back to see what the deal was, only to find out that my order had been CANCELED… Supposedly by someone else-​obviously not me. How about verifying the name and address before canceling-I’ll be spending my money at the other papa johns from now on.

Five stars compared to all other Papa John’s. Ordered from here the other night, the phone person was great, pleasant and efficient, and the delivery was FAST. They quoted me 45 minutes but it came in more like 20. The pizza was hot and the delivery guy gladly ran back to his car for parmesan and crushed peppers even though we were on the upstairs deck.
