I love inka chicken! This place is a hidden jewel that my boyfriend found! The chicken is so moist and flavorful. It reminds me of this authentic Peruvian place I went in Miami. The sides are good as well. We had the mash potatoes and rice. They add butter and green onions on the top of the mash potatoes which makes it more flavorful and creamy. They also give you tortillas and a green sauce that is SOOOGOOD! Try to get as much green sauce as you can! It’ll complete you.

The food here is phenomenal. I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and wanted to try as many items on the menu as possible. Every single selection was flavorful and had a unique taste to it. The rice is superb! The owner came out and gave us a brief history of the restaurant and how it was formed. From one small business owner to another, I salute her dedication to focusing on family first. The food alone is worth five stars.

What a great place for chicken and rice! They have the best yellow dipping sauce that they keep in the back. I had to ask for it multiple times after seeing it on Unilocal. It was SO delicious!

Bummed with burgers? Sick of the shack? Get back to basics with Inka’s rotisserie style chicken. Bone and options only on the chicken that will not disappoint. The sides are fresh, unique, and delicious. You’ve got to try the Yucca(root similar to a potato but slightly sweet) fries! Ask for a sample. I order a ¼ chicken in all white meat with the mixes green beans and macaroni & cheese as sides. It was all surprisingly delicious. Don’t let the exterior of this place fool you(used to be an A&W Burger), it’s worth the stop. My only request would be for more solid plates rather than styrofoam as cutting it usually involved.

My family went here this weekend on a suggestion. This charcoal grilled chicken was excellent; it was very moist and wonderfully seasoned. What made it more special is that delicious aroma of grilling as you walk in. It reminded me of the way my wife’s dad would cook when he was still with us. He was an expert on grill and this chicken was like his. The Yuca fries and plantains were a perfect touch and my kids devoured the Mac and Cheese.

One of those innocuous little gems in the world of fast food. They do in fact serve Incan Chicken, rotisserie-grilled in the Peruvian fashion. And it was surprisingly tasty! I had gotten some to eat right before I donated plasma at BioLife down the street. It attracted my eye because I’d never seen an «Inka Chicken» joint before, and I liked the aesthetic and concept of the phrase(of course). They offer ¼ chicken, ½ chicken, and whole chicken, as well as a great number of sides, from the typical fries or mac ‘n cheese, to fried plantains. I got the ¼ chicken, with a very crispy, blackened skin. It definitely did not taste processed, definitely fresh. They also serve cans of «Inca Cola,» which of course I got. It’s really PepsiCo’s capitalizing on that same aesthetic, and tastes similar to Big Red, but… richer, I decided. A ¼ chicken, mac ‘n cheese and an Inca Cola cost me under 9 bucks, which I didn’t think was bad at all. Actually fairly cheap, considering it’s fresh rotisserie chicken. Who knows? This could become a pre-plasma donation tradition!

I’m sitting in my car writing this. We just split a half chicken with yuca, plantains, and black beans in the car in a gas station parking lot, after meeting someone for a craigslist handoff. I’m SO glad I saw this place on our way, and we could drive thru and pick up an amazing lunch! Inka is TOTALLY worth the drive from Austin. I’m already planning my next trip up here.

I’ve been hearing about this place for a while from work peeps, but despite the rave reviews, I was never driven to head here on my own. Perhaps mostly because I wasn’t familiar with the area and never found myself there, so I just never thought of Inka Chicken when I was deciding on dinner. Boy, have I been missing out! A co-worker suggested this yesterday for lunch, and I was more interested to check it out now that we are moving to the Wells Branch/Mopac area. We walked in and were instantly greeted with that amazing charcoal smell. Menu seemed easy — pick the size of chicken(half or quarter, white or dark) and 1 side or two(there’s lots of other stuff on the menu but the combos seem most common). I went for the ¼ white with two sides, because all seemed so good that I couldn’t pick just one. My colleague had talked up the plantains, but I couldn’t resist some good ol’ mashed potatoes(with green onions and melted butter on top!) and the mac n cheese, which is made with GIANT shell pasta. The chicken was really fantastic, and had that great charcoal flava, but the sides were like BAM. So good. And they give you a lot so i had enough after my meal for 2 more(small) meals. The staff was really friendly and the lady at the register(who my friend thought was the owner) was great. She knows good customer service and was so sweet. I’m sad I didn’t come here sooner, but now that i’ll be in the hood, I’ll be back regularly for the chicken and the kick ass sides.

El pollito a la brasa mas rico! Realmente me hace extrañar menos Lima. Si pudiese lo comeria todas las semanas. El sabor es increible y claro acompañado de una inca kola fria. Amo comer en este sitio, todo es divino.

As soon as my partner in crime walked in, we were greeted and asked if we wanted a sample of some of their items. Before we could answer, we were given a cup each consisting of black beans, rice, & plantains. I could not resist the flavors. I usually don’t like beans but theirs was very delicious and I made sure to include that in my order. The plantains were tender and sweet — just right. The chicken had such a good flavor profile to it and the pieces were juicy & savory. Loved every bite! The prices are decent and there’s plenty of seating available. Employees are awesome and take care of their customers!
