By the time you get to be my age, the Universe starts tellingyou that maybe running isn’t the best thing for your knees, and maybe you should try something else. I jumped into the iGnite spin call as the Mecca Gym and Spa; MWF during the lunch hour. I’ll admit the first few classes(year and a half ago) were a little rough; after the first 15 minutes the instructor said, «OK, we’re just about done with the warm-up.» And I thought«warm up?» I’m about to lose my breakfast… But that was a long time ago; the instructors know what they’re doing, and lead the session without any pressure.

ditto to Jenni T.‘s comments. A college friend brought me a few times as a guest and I loved the balance between encouraging you to push yourself with the overt compassion for particants’ personal injuries and physical limitations. The variety of classes is broad, the trainers are talented and expert and great people. The culture is supportive, inclusive, warm and caring. What a wonderful combination. I love the classes – they meet outside in and around Austin whenever they can. I was a Lifetime Bootcamp member for many years and this is an effective but balanced workout that targets all the muscle groups while giving you some uplifting and inspirational things to think about and incorporate into your day. I am as strong today physically as when I was with Lifetime Bootcamp without all of the strain.

I am so thankful for iGnite! I have never been to fitness class that provides as much support, friendship, and crazy, fun, challenging workouts. As a fitness intructor myself, I came to iGnite looking for something that would keep motivated and challenged to be my best physically. I never could have imagined that I would come away from class with so much support and friendship from other women in Austin. Every week the iGnite team challenges and supports me to be my best self in all areas of life. I am ‘hooked’ on these classes to say the least.
