I was in desperate need for a quick snack and after leaving my favorite refreshment stand, Total Wine, I spotted the Fire Bowl Café and thought I’d give it a try. I must say that I was quite impressed. I ordered the Beef Fire Noodles, chow fun, green onions, green and red bell peppers, mushrooms, snap peas, Thai basil and cilantro. It was delicious! My only complaint is that it was a bit dry. I like my chow fun a bit on the wet side, a flavorful natural gravy to swirl the beef and vegetables in. I ordered at the counter and my order was brought to my table. The staff was quite helpful and friendly.

Vermicelli Singapore is really awesome! Not greasy as typical non-authentic American-Chinese fast food restaurant/stir fry place as well. A little bit spicy but the flavor is mild because of the sweetness. The egg pork roll is surprising flavorful as well. The fillings are mixed vegetables and pork meat.

Normally… Like 95% of the time things are great! But tonight was an example of the 5%. The wrapper on my summer rolls smelled sour. I had crusty, miso dried up on the outside of my bowl. The miso itself was barely warm. Lastly, our cashier was far from happy to be there. She couldn’t use her words. With that, we have a 2-star review. I’ll change it when I come back during a 95% day.

The good: friendly staff & healthy portion size The bad: terrible flavor & texture I ordered pineapple fried rice with beef and it was the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. The rice was overcooked and powdery and the beef was overly tender, almost mushy. Flavor was off, too.

Too loud. Awful blaring«music» overhead with an annoying discothèque feel. Bad acoustics that amplify this nights rowdy patron’s voices. I am obviously not the demographic for the dine-in crowd. The food was so-so.

Surprisingly solid lunch at very reasonable price. You order at the counter and they bring to you. Very efficient although the girl at the register was not super friendly or interested in being at work(probably the only negative to the experience) Had the spicy coconut soup to start with. Not super spicy but solid entry and at less than $ 3 for a «cup» — you can’t go wrong. I think the bowl is less than $ 6 and definitely would be a meal for most! Then made my own bowl. You choose the meat, sauce, veggie and rice/noodle. I didn’t do the math but I am guessing hundreds if not thousands of combinations. Serving size is huge for the price. Most people were taking half of their dish home. Conveniently they have to go containers sitting right out for you. Very nice. Will definitely be back. Appear to have weekly specials and lunch deals during the week And yes they have an interesting selection of decent beers and wine in case you are in the mood :-).

I have had fried rice, coconut soup and spring rolls. All great. big portions really make this a value. They serve beer and wine which is a plus.

The food here is pretty good — I love the Tom Kah coconut soup. The 3 stars is for the lack of cleanliness. The floor in the main restaurant has been dirty every time I have come here and not just one day’s worth of foot traffic either. This last time here the women’s bathroom was gross — the floor was all wet, there was no hand soap and the air vent looks like it’s never been cleaned. I hope the manager/owner sees this and runs a program to effectively clean their establishment on a daily basis. When I experience a clean restaurant, I will change my rating to 5.

The food is horrible I got very ill after ordering the Kung Pao Chicken and threw up all night. Not sure it is was left in the car too long. This is not authentic Asian food. The delivery driver looks scary as well.

Everything is pretty decent here– standard stir fry style Americanized Chinese food. The potstickers are tasty and the standout for me is the very non-traditional«Tom Kha» style soup– which is a mild coconut broth and chicken mixed with rice and served with a lime wedge. Not a bad option in this shopping center–

Here is how this place works… — You walk up to counter or wait in line to make your order — Look at the menu at the counter — Make your order — pick your main ingredient for your bowl — pick your veggie mix(spring mix or Thai mix) for your bowl — Choose your sauce for your bowl — Choose your rice or noodles for your bowl — decide if you want anything else from the menu — pay and they give you a number and deliver to your table Now they have some bowls you can order from the menu if you do not want to do the your way thing. We did order an appetizer on our visit and got the potstickers. They were ok, but nothing really stand out about them. I got the red Thai curry sauce with chicken, Thai veggie mix and fat noodles. I had never had the fat noodles. They were … well fat i guess. My dish was overall spicy. I wish there had been a bit more sauce in it. My husband enjoyed his bowl and he got the peanut sauce with beef and the fat noodles. The bill for 2 bowls, an appetizer and 2 drinks was under $ 30. That is not bad at all. This place is definitely an OK option for lunch or a cheaper family dinner that isn’t fast food.

I love this place! I work a few stores down at Total wine & more, and go here many times a month for lunch. I love that they have the«build your own» dish thing. Great customer service!

We came yesterday 5÷25÷15 when there was fear of a tornado and were still able to get a good meal. RIGHT as we were abou to order, the power went out for a couple of minutes and in turn knocked out the registers for about 5 minutes. The manager who finally took our order was very courteous and sympathetic. He didn’t have to be, but we noticed! I had their Vietnamese vermicelli bowl w/chicken. The noodles were a bit cold and the temperature from the chicken warmed the meal as a whole up nicely. Plenty of seating and big windows for you to look out into the parking lot. The venue also seemed clean. They didn’t appear to have wifi. They offer lunch specials throughout the week and rewards program if you opt into receiving text from them. My girlfriend and I wanted a joint with a combination of healthy options and vermeicillio for myself and this place hit the nail on the head.

I got a coupon in the mail for my birthday that gave you $ 10 off your order so I decided to try this place. I liked that there was a place to eat outside. I got the stir fry my way bowl with brown rice, chicken, Szechuan garlic sauce and vegetables. The vegetables were fresh. The Szechuan garlic sauce was a little spicy, but really good and I wanted a little bit of heat. You were given a good size portion, I had more than enough for lunch the next day. I also got the potstickers which I really enjoyed. The only thing that I didn’t like was the $ 1 charge if you wanted to choose the vegetables in your bowl, in didn’t like the two groups of veggies that you could pick. This may become my go to place for Asian takeout.

This place has been a favorite for my family for years. My wife always gets the sesame chicken, the kids always get the sweet and sour chicken. It’s pretty good food as far as fast food Asian goes. I typically go for the build your own stir fry because I can opt out of rice and instead pile on the veggies. Lately they have been skimping on the meat a bit, but it’s still very good. The summer rolls are incredible — I would say the best thing here. We will continue coming because it’s such a great family restaurant. Never too crowded, easy to seat a group of people.

I have unhealthy cravings for the Shrimp & Beef Pad-Thai here. I wish I could venture to other parts of the menu… but when you’ve had it 100+ times and it’s still incredible, why mess with such a good thing??? Really, though, I have tried other plates and they’re all awesome. I love this place because it is consistent, fresh, and always clean! The owner(or GM… I’m actually not sure who he is) is almost always there, always smiling, and has been for the 9+ years I’ve been visiting. They used to do a «game» where during certain hours of certain weekdays you drew a card out of a deck and whatever you got meant free drink, free app, half off your plate, and so forth. I always thought that was REALLY cool! I love this place and reviewing it is making me hungryyyyy :)

I haven’t been here in a few years. I wasnt a big fan of their noodle dishes. Before today’s experience i would say the noodle dishes were similar to the pre-made stir fry bags you find in the frozen section at the grocery store. So what brought me back you ask? I was craving the crab rangoons and their coconut soup. Crab Rangoons — Out of all the crab Rangoons that I’ve tried I have to say Fire Bowl’s is the best — always perfectly fried and the cheese crab filling a perfect mix. Other restaurants I’ve tried them at, the filling just isn’t the same. Thai Tom Kah Noodle Soup — I’ve had this before and every time I’ve ordered it I do shrimp style. I was surprised at the amount of soup served — the bowl was huge. The soup was just as I remembered. Compared to coconut soups at thai restaurants I think they do a pretty good version. I was also surprised at the good amount of shrimp it came with. Stir Fry — Beef/spring veggie/thai pepper/chow fun noodle. My fiancé’s choice but I had to try. I definitely was surprised. Much better quality than my years past experiences. Good quality noodle. Good flavor, fresh veggies. They have redeemed themselves in my book.
