Got a costume cleaned for a musical I am in– stressed that I needed it heavily starched, and the woman assured me that it would be. They get 2 stars for quick service(24 hours), but wow was it expensive and not starched– not one bit. I’d highly recommend going to another cleaner.

I’ve taken a variety of items here over the years, from men’s and women’s clothing to down comforters, and have always been pleased with the results. When a jacket came back recently with a button obviously missing, I called and they told me to bring it in. Apparently, they keep whatever they find until they can match it up, and she located and sewed it back on within 10 minutes. Their prices aren’t cheap, but aren’t horribly expensive for this area, with its over-priced rents. They do the actual cleaning and laundry at this location, so there’s less likelihood of your clothing being sent off and finding a new, unauthorized home. They do offer alterations, which are also done on-site. I haven’t tried those services as yet, except for that one button that needed to be reattached. It seems to be a family-owned operation, and while the employees aren’t overly friendly, they are efficient. Probably one of the most reliable cleaners in the area.

Reliable and efficient. They’ve done a lot of dry cleaning and one alteration for me. I’ve been very impressed w/them. My only complaint is that it is expensive… but I’d gladly pay to have it done right!

I am updating my review and adding additional stars but before I explain why I will be up front and tell you that in Spring 2013 I cut all ties with them. I went to another cleaner because the lack of professionalism that I experienced at Esquire. We had 3 jackets go missing and looked for two weeks for them. Because they had missed some items before in their inventory we kept asking to just double check for the three missing jackets. We weren’t angry we were just trying to cross off all of our options. We did eventually find them in one of our suitcases, but this was after one of the head clerks told me in front of customers that we weren’t important enough to have another check because we did not spend $ 700 to $ 800 with them each week!!! She didn’t say it once or twice. she kept repeating it more times than I could count. It didn’t make sense because our laundry bill was between $ 90 to $ 150 each week. I have a regular schedule and drop a bag or two of clothes off every Monday and pick up later in the week. Some weeks got to over $ 200. The average customer does not spend that, I cannot imagine who would have $ 700 a week in cleaning. So you can understand why I cut all ties with them. Very very rude. It is August of 2014 and I am coming back. I am updating stars from one to three. Why? Because their cleaning skills are amazing. Still won’t do alterations there. They get do however get the clothing clean without ruining it. The cleaner that we chose in the interim kept ruining items and repeatedly sent back dirty and soiled pieces to us. Soiled items that were an easy clean like powder makeup, light foundation, some coffee spots that were fresh(not set in stains). So needless to say between interim cleaner ruining clothes or not cleaning clothes and so forth I have learned the importance of quality in cleaning. Esquire has the best laundering service around. Period. The clothing also comes back odorless which is very very important. I do not in anyway condone the professionalism that the clerk presented in 2013 but I needed to not have the items ruined. 3 stars for cleaning ethics. 5 had we not had the lack of professionalism or all the sloppy alterations.

Only reason they do not get 5 stars is that I haven’t run enough stuff through them. I see complaints about too much starch, not wanting to do certain garments, etc. Well, I would rather have a cleaner tell me they don’t want to do an item then take a chance and ruin it! As far as starch, I’m a no-starch fan. I find that most cleaners do a fair enough job on shirts without starch, why bother. They are quick, courteous, and efficient. Their tailoring is also quick and efficient. Just remember to grab the coupons from their website.

Some of the reasons that Esquire is one of the best cleaners ever: 1. Personal service. As noted by other reviewers, I am frequently greeted by name. 2. Same day service. 3. Attention to detail. A button fell of the pocket of my trousers. I figured I’d get around to sewing it back on eventually. The next time that I took them to be cleaned, they sewed a new button on. I didn’t ask them to do this or even draw attention to the button’s absence. I still can’t believe they did this.

We live right around the corner so I though I’d give a new dry cleaner a try. My old one is on the way home, but a little hard to get to. Anywho… these folks are great! I took a bunch of clothes in that I need to travel and asked them to fold the shirts and sweaters. They happily agreed! In my book this rocks! A lot of cleaners out there just won’t go the extra step. They even came packaged in plastic and boxed up! The front desk people are sweet and even recognize their customers. I also love that most of their stuff is done on site and in green machines. They are definitely my new cleaners!

I dropped off a very large and expensive king size comforter that I have had for years last week. When I came to pick it up I found out that they had given it to another customer. The cashier tried to explain that the other customer had dropped off multiple comforters and that mistakes happen, but this is a very amateur and unprofessional mistakes that is very telling of this company’s severe lack of organization and communication skills with their paying customers. The other customer picked their order up yesterday and when I called to check on mine they said mine was still here. This is sadly not he first time a big mistake was made on an order here but I believe in second and third chances and also am forgiving of mistakes, but this is ridiculous considering how expensive their prices are. She offered me a refund and said she would try to get in touch with the other customer but seeing as how this is a very expensive item, it is really in the hands of the other guy to give my order back to them. They owe me more than a refund.

Esquire Cleaners does a good job and the owners/staff are very friendly. They are a a bit more expensive the some of the larger chains especially when it comes to alterations. The do a good job of cleaning & pressing. I do make a point of letting them know to launder and press my shirts. Since this is much cheaper and most of my shirts do NOT need drycleaned only cleaned and pressed. Once I told them this it cut my cleaning expense by more then half! Parking is a breeze, quick in and out. Items are always ready when they are suppose to be. If they could improve on their alteration cost and come down off their pricing a bit this place would get a much higher rating.

In the process of getting ready for an interview, I realized my interview pant suit was quite wrinkled from moving. Went to Walmart and bought an iron, which was pointless cause I’ve only ironed and handful of times in my life and was never particularly successful at. Thank goodness its acceptable for women to work outside the house these days, because I would probably suck at being a housewife. After almost ending up in tears because I couldn’t do it right and get all the wrinkles out, my fiancé suggested just taking to to the cleaners to get pressed. So we called around. Esquire was cheapest when it came to pressing the coat 4.99. I figured I could make the pants look decent enough, even with my poor ironing skills. Off the fiancé went to the cleaners. They did press it(or at least said they did), but when it came back it still had wrinkles. Less wrinkles than before, but still wrinkles which is why the two stars.

My husband is a drycleaning fan but not me. Since he was going I sent in my indian suit as well. The cleaners did not clean half of it because they didnt want to ruin it… yet other cleaners have had no problem cleaning it before. My husbands shirts were way too starchy and stiff. I think the only reason we end up there its because it is close to home. And yes… I’ve experienced better!

This is one of the best cleaners I’ve taken my clothes to. The service is fantastic. The same gal is usually there and always says«good day Miss Christy» — I love that! It’s not often that you get this type of personal service. Their quality of work is great and your clothes are cleaned on-site which is an added bonus. I also like that if I bring my clothes in before 9am they’re ready for pick up after 5pm that same day. Pricing isn’t necessarily competitive, but at least I know my clothes are in good hands.

I used to go to this dry cleaner almost weekly when I worked in the building right next door. They have excellent service, are reasonably priced, and everything is done on-site, so there’s no worrying about them losing your clothes. They also got out every stain that I ever brought to them! Since moving offices I haven’t been able to find a dry cleaner that is quite the same, sadly. They also do fantastic alterations as well. I bought a suit(skirt and jacket) that was very boxy looking and took it to them. They made the skirt more curvy and took in the jacket as well — it looks way better than when I bought it, and I never would have thought to ask for those types of changes. Definitely check them out if you live or work in the neighborhood!
