We went here about 10:20pm last night. We were seated right away but waited at least 15 minutes to get«noticed.» There were several employees cleaning and stocking condiments on tables, yet no one seemed to want to wait on us. Finally someone told us «she» would be right with us and pointed over to the waitress taking the order of the people who had came in and were seated AFTER we were. A few minutes later, a different waitress came and took our drink order.(By this time we were more than ready to order our food.) It felt like she didn’t expect to be waiting on us, so I don’t think we were supposed to be «her» table. When our food finally came out, it was cold. I had to have my plate microwaved because ice cold bacon and sausage does not cut it. The waitress was friendly and had a great sense of humor, but seemed new and not familiar with things. She did keep our coffee full and provided good service, so we didn’t skimp on the tip. My biggest qualm with her was that she didn’t seem to know the menu at all, and asked a few times to look at ours while taking our order, and also that when I looked closer at the receipt later, I noticed that my child had ordered several items individually and the waitress could have mentioned that it would have been cheaper for her to have the«choose your own» Grand Slam” instead of charging us separately for each of those items.(they were all items available on the choose your own GS menu.) I think next time we’ll try a different choice when we’re in this area.

Good food, horrible service. Katelyn M was probably the worst server I have even witnessed. Yes the order was right, but she was really rude and short with us the whole time. And while cashing us out at the front was very abrupt and rude as well. I honestly don’t think our waitress should be in the service industry at all. Being in the industry for 10 years I can confidently say that.

Only went to meet some clients for coffee. We went during lunch time but the place was not busy at all and there was not a hostess at the hostess booth. After waiting a few minutes someone finally showed up and showed us to a booth which was dirty. They did clean it and the girl that waited on us and brought us coffee was nice. We didn’t eat so can’t say anything about the food.

(This review is for the Oltorf location) OMG!!! I was really excited about visiting this location since the renovations and I was literally stopped in my tracks before I ordered. A Denny’s employee was sitting within 10 feet of the entrance sucking down a cigarette which I found disgusting and then guess who walked in right behind me and brought my menu? I could still smell the stench of the cigarette on her clothing and hands and must have been angry for cutting her break short because I didn’t even get a hello from her. She was a young attractive girl but I couldn’t help it, I got up and left the restaurant with dreams of a Grand Slam lifted. This review was meant for the Oltorf location! !!! I’m so sorry. I will be back and request a table far from the young lady.

Friendly staff! They really take care of you here and make you feel at home. Best place to study. Not too loud and they have plugs and WiFi. I ordered half a nacho and a skillet. Too much food next time I will stick with just one order. I love the nacho… got rid of my nacho craving. Definitely will come back.

We were in dennys on sunday our server was marcella she was very great always care my family remeber our orders and there is nine of us although the two mangers on sunday need to relocate. one was in the kitchen thowin plates at the severs while another stood in the window yelling come run your food. i have to the servers cool points cause they work hard… due to the managment

Came here with a group of people and the place was somewhat busy. We were sat right away by «Pat» and Pat seemed to me the one who was going to serve us but somehow she disappeared and we were left sitting there waiting for a long time. Later I flagged Denise who came over right away and took care of us. She too, was surprised that we were left there without being told what to expect by «Pat» Anyway, we ended up being taken care by Denise who was a friendly server and a caring person. Also, my buddy found a long black hair in his food. He didn’t want to make a stink. Especially since there was so much commotion in the restaurant with who was serving the stations. As for Pat, who knows what became of her. The two stars are not for the service we receive from Denise. They are for being forgotten by Pat. I had heard that at this location, that there was a lot of confusion with the servers but I didn’t want to believe it until this time I came here. For me, I won’t be coming back.

Order a Togo that an hour. Cook came out the kitchen fighting customers. What’s really going on Denny’s. I will not be coming back ever! Cooks straightening customers! Who does that? Denny’s get it right, get back to taking care of your guests.

I’ve called in pick up orders two times and both times I’ve had negative experiences. They take forever to answer the phone and when they answer they seem aggravated that you called. This past time they got my order wrong and when I told her that that wasn’t what I had ordered, she said«well that’s what I wrote down». She obviously wasn’t listening on the phone considering she wrote my name down wrong even after I spelled it for her on the phone…

Absolutely horrible, I don’t know how they remain in business. My wife and I went by for a light dinner at about 8:55 on September 14th. As we walked in my wife noticed the faces of a few customers and they did not look happy. We stood in the doorway for a good 90 seconds while the host/waiter put money away and took care of cash register business(rude). We were finally seated in a booth. After about 10 minutes someone comes by to take our drink orders, coffee, tea and water, nothing difficult. We noticed some issues with the personnel in the kitchen area, at first there was just one guy, then a waitress went back and helped out for a bit and then there were like five people back there but little food seemed to be coming out. Another family had some discrepancy with their bill or service and they handled it at the register, whatever it was they worked it out cordially. We then waited another 15 minutes and not having received our drinks we threw in the towel and left. As we were leaving we told the host/waiter who had seated us that we were leaving and he looked relieved! We ended up going to the Sonic down the road and taking our food to our hotel room, ugh!

I’ve gone to this Dennys three times. Its not great, but its close to my place. The food is fine. No complaints there. The service is awful though! So slow & so much attitude. No one is happy.

So, I was craving breakfast and the Denny’s by my house was randomly closed for an hour(at 5pm?) so we made the trek to this Denny’s location. I should have just stayed home and ate cereal. When we arrived, it was not very packed, with only three tables with people. It took our waiter 10 minutes to get our drinks, 15 minutes to order and then another 30 for the food to come out. Seriously, it was eggs, bacon and toast. There was no excuse for how long this took. On top of that, our waiter never came to check on us and I was dying of thirst for almost the whole experience. The food was sub-par and über greasy. Two of the three toilets were pretty much overflowing with grossness. I will not be going back to this location.
