Drove all the way from Dallas to try their food. Love how they’re organic and vegan, AND have gluten-free options! Hits: Blackened tofu w/spicy tortilla and Chimichurri seitan wraps w/spinach tortilla were both delicious. Rosemary fries are a must for only $ 2. These fries are actually baked with(I believe) no oil yet are crispy and full of flavor. Organic Blackberry lemonade was refreshing! Miss: We weren’t a big fan of the bbq wrap. It was overpoweringly sweet. Tip: 1. Get flavored tortillas. 2. Never order bbq sauce anything at ANY vegan restaurant. BBQ sauce tastes good because of meat. Period. 3. Use Unilocal check-in to get a free drink

Saturday, 11:00AM. Quickie: + Food quality + Service — Hygiene — Turnaround And then??? Conscious Cravings offers a healthier alternative to all the other food trucks in the area. A smoothie can be refreshing after all that fried food! ********** Stuffed my face in: 1. Baked fries + Olive oil, salt, and some herbs make this one a winner. — Too many pieces had charred ends. Got my drank on: 1. Strawberry, banana, peach + Not diluted, fresh feel. Constructive comments: *Option to compost? *Source ingredients?

The black bean chimichurri wrap was fantastic. I added avocado for a little more pizzazz. Overall a nice lunch destination.

The food from this truck was good, even though I didn’t get what I ordered. I ordered a spicy chickpea wrap and ended up receiving some type of seitan wrap. It was good and I was hungry so I didn’t complain. Coffee machine was broken and it was 45 degrees outside, but we were able to get some good coffee at the truck next door. All in all, tasty, inexpensive food.

Awesome food. They have pretty good options and being all vegetarian is a bonus for me personally. Decently priced and have made my wife and I to visit here quite often. The location looks good and reachable for most of them in south and central Austin. Spicy chickpea is the best of the lot and don’t miss that If your tastebuds love spicy stuff.

Love this place. Quinoa salad is amazing, the wait is worth it because you know they are making it fresh. Friendly staff, one guy gives me a free refill if the wait is sort of long. Great location, surrounded by trees and other trucks with wonderful people!

I came here twice during my recent visit in Austin. The chimichurri sauce is so good! Their juices were yummy as well. It was a little bit of a wait but worth it.

It’s more difficult than you would think to find good, fast, vegan food in Austin. A co worker told me about this place one day during lunch. I had postmates deliver the Chickpea Chimichurri burrito. First of all, the size. Whoa. This is amazing. And so well priced. I ate the whole thing, but it should be mentioned I do have an unhealthy relationship with food. Fortunately it was so spicy I couldn’t inhale it without chewing. In the future I would split this with my gf… and eat her half when she isn’t looking. The flavor is great, and the spicy-ness level will not disappoint you. Cleared my sinuses right up.

I seriously love this place! I had their chickpea chimichurri burrito. It was only about $ 7 with a bag of chips. However, I didn’t even need to get those chips because the burrito was so large! It was incredibly fresh and flavorful. It also had an intense spicy kick to it! It was so hot, I couldn’t even finish it. My friend had another one of their burritos and his was just as spicy. If you are not a fan of spicy foods, then beware. I would definitely go back to this place. It was a great spot for lunch. It was filling without leaving you with that sluggish feeling after eating.

I ordered the Avocado wrap and am still hungry. Half of my wrap consisted of lettuce. I suggest they start calling this the«Lettuce Stay Hungry Wrap.» Wah wah. No really, the wrap was fine, but a bit of a rip off when you consider that you’re mostly eating air.

What a healthy treat and delivered to my hotel room. I had the Spicy Chickpea Wrap(HUGE), the baked Rosemary Fries and spinach smoothie. The heat level in the wrap was perfect. Just enough to effect taste and a slight touch of burn. Their mix of seasonings and ingredients was very delicious and it was HUGE! I’m a good size guy at 6′ 300 lbs and it filled me up! The spinach smoothie was also perfect. Not too sweet nor too green. Just perfectly delicious and refreshing. The only disappointment was the Fries but let me be clear it was not due to the cook. The mix of Rosemary and salt was just right and the Fries were NOT greasy. Unfortunately they had chilled. This made all but the very center Fries rubbery. For me Fries have to be at least very warm to hot to be enjoyable. Cold rubbery Fries are a no go. So in part my fault for ordering Fries to be delivered and partly due to the packaging for delivery wasn’t adequate just a thin paper bag inside a paper sack allowing them to chill quickly. I would love to go onsite to have the Fries freshly cooked. I have no doubt they would be terrific. Overall I am very happy and will be a repeat customer next time I am in Austin!

I didn’t catch the fellows name that took my order or prepared my food. He was wearing dreads and provided great service. Thank you! The flavor packed Chickpea wrap was spectacular. What a nice way to break free of the chain restaurant crap who offer salads for us that choose NOT to eat those beings with faces. Great place. Check it out today.

Don’t let the lack of a line at this foot truck turn you away. Torchy’s Tacos next to it always has a long line, but Concious Cravings offer unique vegetarian and vegan wraps and salads. To the Austin meat eaters, don’t overlook this place because it doesn’t serve meat. The wraps have great protein and amazing flavor. The details on he menu are kind of weird, like«protein nuggets,» but they were really good. They didn’t have the rubbery texture that tofu can sometimes have. My reason for taking a star off is because of the details. They don’t make it easy to try when reading the menu. My advice would be to show great pictures. Looking and tasting great does not translate when describing vegan/vegetarian food.

I need one of these right by my house. I would eat here everyday if I could. I usually get the spicy tofu wrap. The baked Rosemary fries are to die for! The guys and gals that work here are so sweet… It’s in with two other food trailers(one of which is Torchy’s Tacos). Yuck. I don’t get them. Anyways this is about Conscious Cravings! Love love love it! Next time you are at the Trailer Park Eatery… Go to the Conscious Cravings Trailer! It’s where the people who were actually born here eat! Sooooo good it will make you actually want to stand in the blazing heat to order!

It took me a while to find it and a lot of driving back and forth haha because im not from here. Then i realized it was in the parkimg lot looking area with other food trucks. I ordered the(eggless) egg salad wrap with all the veggies and it was great! The service was quick and they honored the free lemonade from checking in with Unilocal

Just had the medium heat wheat tortilla BBQ seitan wrap. Very tasty and a biiiiig burrito. Just be warned, the medium packs some kick. Not I can’t handle it hot. More the kind of when you put it down your lips and mouth tingle. I like heat but would probably go mild next time to play it safe. The burrito is a large wheat tortilla filled with a generous portion of seitan, lettuce, Carmelized onions and BBQ sauce. It’s nothing overly fancy but sometimes you don’t need fancy. It’s a vegetarian BBQ wrap and a very good one. Just as deliciously messy and meat BBQ so grab an extra napkin or two. Plus they currently have a Unilocal check in promotion die a free lemonade! Woohoo! They also offer a frequent buyer card if you ask. I look forward to trying more off their menu in the future!

This place is awesome! Why wait in the lines for Torchy’s when this truck is next door! Portions are large and the flavors are amazing. We ended up ordering too much food and took an entire wrap home for later. The Chickpea wrap was super tasty but beware it is spicy! We also got the Chimichurri seitan made into a salad. Guess tomorrow we will finally be hungry again to eat our blackened tofu wrap on cayenne tortilla. Will definitely be eating here again!
If only I lived in Austin, I could eat here practically everyday. I managed to visit this spot twice the weekend I was in town. It all started with the spicy chick-pea wrap on cayanne tortilla. Talk about greatness! The wrap for perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. Veggies were fresh & the chimichurri sauce made it a epic wrap. With all the good flavors in the inital wrap, I had to try more before I left the city. I went back before I left town & ordered a Pan seared tofu wrap & blacked tofu wrap. I ate the Pan seared tofu wrap there & took the blacked tofu wrap to go & which was devoured a short while later. Overall this spot is epic. Staff is coo, & quick. The lot is kind of small so finding parking can be a hassle. Well mainly because the line for torchy’s tacos is always long so it blocks the pathway. A must try!
