Burger King

They’ve always been nice to me at this drive thru, but the two times I purchased food from here, I felt like I was failing at life. Or rather, I needed to reevaluate my values. #ilovehashbrowns #chickensandwichisnotthatbad

Well I go here all the time after work and sometimes I’ll buy for my whole family or sometimes just myself well my husband pick me up we went through the drive-​through as usual he asked the guy if he could please add a four count nugget to our order The cashier that was running the drive-​through looked at my has been didn’t say anything took his credit card swipe did give it back to him and shut the window he was maybe 30s skinny bald African American. Solid never said a word never said yes OK let me see what I can do just hace us our food and shut the window. My husband was going to ask him if he was mute because by this time he was very upset I told him don’t worry about it that the guy is like that all the time when I come here myself, really you should not have that service at your window this guy really really has bad service or should I say no service at all. It sucks because the food there is great.

My veggie burger and fries were horrible. Both tasted freezer burned, and I got a HANDFUL of mustard and ketchup packets in the bag as well as lots of mayo dumped on the burger when I had asked for no mayo and ketchup and mustard put on it instead. I guess either there are no longer bottles of humble condiments like ketchup and mustard in BK or workers don’t understand that they go on the sandwich.
I used to get these all the time at other BK locations, and they were at least edible. I had to throw $ 7 of food from this BK out into a parking lot for grackles since it tasted «off.»

Normally I don’t go to «fast food» restaurants, but Burger King (and I only go to THIS one because of the great service) serves Seattle’s Best as their regular house brand coffe! A small coffee is a real deal at $ 1.29. They also make fancy coffee drinks if you’re inclined to bump up the calories.
Who needs Starbuck’s? They over-​roast their beans and charge you a fortune!
And if you ask (of course you have to be a senior) they will give you a discount. Score! By the way. Burger King serves «veggie» burgers. Only fast food restaurant I have seen them on the menu.

I was so hungry after a long day at the lake and wanted to grab something quick around 10pm on the july 4^th weekend. I was surprised they were still open in drive thru. The drive thru was not as friendly or welcoming at all, but my food was hot and fresh. Also I only ordered a single pattie burger and i got two patties. SCORE!

Food: It’s Burger King. There is definitely something to be said about the way they flame-​broil the burgers. They taste different than any other burger I’ve ever had and, in some ways, they taste a lot better. But the patties are kind of thin and the onion rings aren’t really onion rings (though they’re still really good for some reason).
But, the reason I’m giving 5 stars is for the service. The crew was exceptionally friendly and very fast, and the restaurant was very clean and felt cared for, if that makes any sense. I’ll definitely be returning to this location.

I guess it’s a regular Burger King. I haven’t been to any other Burger King in years.
Unless you’re really desperate, the burgers are kind of gross. There’s so many better options in the area. Culver’s is just east on Braker.
There is a large kid’s play area, which is unique in the area so maybe it’s good for kids. And even nowadays they have plenty of paper crowns.

Went through Drive-​Thru… Order was wrong… Didn’t know till I got home. Eat fast food once a month… need to learn the ropes of dealing with Fast Food Restauranting … Thanksgiving was McD’s and Christmas with the King…

Relatively friendly staff and a quick, accurate order. It might’ve been the lighting, but I could’ve sworn my Chicken Parmesan sandwich had the standard yellow American cheese on it. I was too hungry to care, though.

I do love the taste of a Whopper, so that’s why i have continued to go back. But in the drive though, the last 2 visits, the order was WRONG !! and it’s not like they were crowded or busy. There wasn’t even a car behind me so it’s not like they got my order mixed up with someone else. They just cannot follow any customized burger order. I asked for a Whopper with cheese and mayo only and I usually get a fully loaded whopper with lettuce, pickles, onions and ketchup and tomato. Ironically, the receipt was correct but the burger was not. If you are that critical, then I highly recommend you check your order before leaving the parking lot. If i were a betting man, I would bet them to get it wrong every time. The inside dining is fairly nice and there are lots of trees around and would be nice to eat outside too if the weather is good enough. There is a large play area also. You can access this location from Mopac service road by entering the Gas Station and taking the little road behind the car wash. Only locals would know about it.

the service was good the food was good. and the location is very convienient the only thing i have is the menu board is a little small. but either then that it is good.

INDOOR PLAY AREA! That is my number reason for visiting this location. I can only handle so much McDonald’s. The personnel are so, so nice. The food always seems fresh. Is it good? Yes, if you like BK. I agree with David W. ~ it is not fine dining, it’s fast food.
Whenever I have been eating in the play area, it is cleaned at least once while I am sitting there by an employee, and more if I am there longer. I always see an employee walking around wiping tables down. This is one of my favorite kid spots.

Let’s face it … it’s Burger King. It’s not fine dining! That said, I have always had great experiences with this location. Unfortunately, I can be a picky eater. Rarely do I ever order an item without something specific to it. This location has never served my order wrong. To me, that says alot about a fast-​food joint. As far as those types of locations go, this Burger King is a great place to visit.

Like the fact that they have an indoor playground; especially needed in Texas. They get my order correct and the food is good for fast food.

The Good:

The Bad:
: unhealthy aieeeee high sodium, high fat, high calorie, etc etc etc
: chicken tenders here just don’t cut it. bleh.
The Ugly:
: obesity rates in this country are beyond redonkadonk and it doesn’t help that places like this offer cheap, unhealthy options with a shit ton of marketing and advertising pressed upon impressionable kids
Would I go back? Yes, because I am a slave to the Whopper. FML.
This place is IN.

This location has gotten our order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME we have stopped here. We’re not fast food fans so visits are few and far between but if we are running late we may drive through for a quick meal. Never again. After repeating the order several times and verifying it on the video screen at the drive through our order was still missing items and incorrect. Truly we are not asking much just to give us the food we ordered and paid for.

It’s bk. You get what you pay for… this locale doesn’t buck any trends

FOOD POISONING! I went to grab a double cheeseburger & fries the other night. The burger was not hot and I probably should’ve nuked in the micro. A few hours after eating my stomach rejects! I’ve been p! ssing out my @sshole and have had the worst stomach cramps ever since.
Never again Burger King! Thanks for ruining SXSW for me!
If you must eat this slop, at least finish it off in the micro lest you want FOOD POISONING.

I think this is the right location, Braker and Mopac. Indoor playground rocks on rainy days like this for the wee ones. The girls had the usual cheesburger kids meals, and they were the usual Ok. They swear they are the best in fast food, and I guess they may be. I do prefer them over McDs. I had the salad with grilled chicken. It was actually very tasty and I found myself nearly finishing it. They forgot one of the girls apple fries, so not so good there, but overall it was a decent experience. If they had wifi, it would rock for me. Chill while the kids are playing and such. As far as fast food burger joints, BK is probably the best in Austin. (I don’t count MF or Mooyah’s fast). 3 stars and I will return when its cold and rainy and I’ve had a long day and the kids need someplace to burn off energy indoors.
