Just be aware that Door to Door does NOT deliver your container anywhere. They have areas that they do not surface. I wish we had gone with a more reputable company like PODs instead, it would have been worth the extra money to avoid the stress and hassle. In the beginning of our moving process, I spoke with a very helpful customer service representative. He answered all our questions and was very friendly. However in the end of our move, when it came time to have our container delivered from the storage facility to our new house I was met with uncaring staff with no desire to help resolve the situation. Before we moved we did not have an apartment or house secured yet. We gave Door to Door 2 zip codes where we thought we might end up finding a house. However once we got to Colorado we ending up finding the perfect apartment just 30 minutes north of the original destination zip code. Now, when we called Door to Door to tell them our new destination address and to set up the delivery of our container, we were told that they don’t deliver here. WELLGREAT. If we had known that Door to Door doesn’t have the ability to deliver a container 1 and a half hours North of their storage area, we would have gone with a different company. THENAMEISLITERALLYDOORTODOOR. So we ended up receiving $ 100 back for«dock unloading» and we spent $ 260 on renting a Uhaul and taking a day to drive to the storage facility, take everything out of the container, put it in the Uhaul, take it to our new house just to unload it once again. Unfortunately we will never use Door to Door in the future. It made an already stressful time(moving from Florida to Colorado) even more stressful. So thanks a lot!

Thank goodness for Door to Door!!! I recently moved across the country from Austin Texas to Denver Colorado. I had the house in Austin under contract to be sold, but we still hadn’t found a house in Denver and had to get our stuff out! I contacted Door to Door because they had better reviews than their competitors, and they worked with me to get to a price that we could afford. They dropped the boxes off in Austin right on time, we filled them up, and they picked them up right on time as well. Then they stored my boxes in Aurora(right outside of Denver) for 6 months while I looked for a house to buy. The storage cost was very fair, and I was able to have it automatically charged to my bank account, no mess no fuss. Finally we bought a house, but we found out that it was outside of Door to Door’s delivery area! I called customer service to see what we could work out. I talked to one of the nicest most helpful people I’ve ever worked with, she actually personally called the warehouse where my boxes were stored to talk with the delivery crew and see if they would make an exception for me. For a small fee I was able to have them drop the boxes off right at my driveway, once again right on time! They were picked up just when they said they would be as well. I wish I could give Door to Door more than 5 stars — moving is stressful but they made it so much easier! Thank you Door to Door!!!
