Major League Roast Beef & Wings

Great find in MA. Sandwiches were huge and delicious. Prices very good and the owner was extremely friendly. You can’t go wrong with the Roast Beef on Onion roll or the Turkey Gobbler. AWESOME!

The food here is wicked good. They have lots of unique and crazy menu items. The staff is very friendly and the food was made quickly. The prices are a little higher than average, but so is the quality.

This place has the best burgers and sandwiches around! Their burgers are huge fresh made patties with some fun/​creative toppings. The burger I got was so huge you couldn’t even get the whole bite in one bite!
Their reuben sandwich is really good too — and the corned beef is sliced perfectly. Their onion rings and fries were good and you can tell they don’t use cheap oil.
The place is always packed and they really keep people moving in and out. There are quite a few places to sit but good luck finding a table during busy time! The place may be busy but all of the tables were clean and the staff was very friendly.

I’ve been a few times. Overall very good but the wings aren’t cooked enough to my liking. Plus the buffalo wrap I ordered didn’t have much buffalo sauce on it. Thus only 4 stars. Will try again.

Just ordered mild boneless buffalo wings. 7.39 for 4 very big and filling tenders. Very good for the price.

Really good sandwiches. The chicken cordon Bleu, with grilled chicken, is my go to sandwich. There’s no gluten free menu to speak of (my wife has celiac disease, therefore she has to be gluten free) but obviously salads are gluten free, just make sure to tell em no bread. The wife got a grilled chicken salad and I, of course, had to try it and that was very good as well. They also have the bad ass coke machine that let’s you mix all kind of different sodas together. I’ve only eaten in a few times, it’s always clean though. I always try to call ahead but if you don’t the wait times are always reasonable.

I really wanted to give Major League a higher rating and if it was based solely on the food, I would have. I have been going here for quite some time because the food is really good. I have had pretty much most of what is on the menu and I haven’t had anything that wasn’t good, in fact, most everything I have eaten here has been super. I love the boneless wings, I love the burgers and I love the sandwiches. The place is clean, the service is good and it’s always packed. Here’s my problem with Major League. I went there this past week and I ordered the Wasabi Burger. When they offered it to me as a «combo meal» for a couple bucks more to include fries and a «cup of chili» I said no brainer. Much to my dismay the «combo» that sounded so awesome in mind arrived as follows: My delicious Wasabi Burger… accompanied by exactly 11 French fries (yes I counted)…and my «cup of chili»…are you ready for this? My «cup of chili» was in reality a small clear plastic container, typically what you put salad dressing in, containing exactly three spoonful’s of chili. So for just around 12 bucks that’s what I got. I have zero issue with paying for quality food but this is borderline ridiculous. It’s a shame, I really do love the food here and I’m not sure what will win out moving forward, my sensibility or my appetite.

Sandwiches are always fresh with friendly service. The only thing thats subpar on the menu are the chicken wings. Sweet potato fries should be added to the menu also.

Boneless wings were ok. Onion rings were not the best. The Roast beef was really good. I felt it was overpriced!

Absolutely love this place. Quick, clean, and delicious. Have driven by this place and never walked in thinking roast beef? Eh.

The BEST sandwiches around on route 20! They even have the great Coke machine with all the flavors!

First I’ll address an issue I saw in another review about the floors and tables being dirty. I’ve never come in and seen a dirty floor or tables. Maybe you’ve just come in after a big rush and they’re trying to clean up. I notice they usually don’t have many working at a time. But that’s neither here nor there. I’ve just never had that problem and I got usually once a week.
I’ll now also address an issue I saw about the portions being small. I go in and and get Super Pastrami Platter… There’s nothing small about it. I have a mans appetite and I can pack it down. It’s a lot of food end of story. Sometimes I have to sit in the parking lot for a few minutes to digest person I head on my way.
So now I’ll just the that their food is pretty damn good. I’ve never had a bad experience there and I will keep on going. It’s nice to see the same familiar faces. They also ask and make sure you are enjoying your food and always make a point to tell you to have a good day on the way out. Give these guys a chance, they’re pretty awesome!

This place has awesome wings. Maybr the best i have had. Wide variety of sauces for the wings. They are all good, but the old school buffalo is still my favorite. Lots of sandwiches that i have tried. All are good, and good value. Super beef and super pastrami are superior.

I saw this place while on errands before so I have been wanting to stop in for close to a year now. My best friend and I were trying to figure out where we should go and I thought of this place. We split three dishes to try to get a fairly reasonable sampling of their menu. We had the all american stuffed burger, the chicken souvlaki, and buffalo wings.
Now some what surprisingly the wings were our least favourite, they were a bit less crispy than we would have liked but still relatively fine. Next time I would inquire if they can be requested to be crispy. The burger was phenomenal, I intend to try their greek burger next time. The chicken souvlaki was the best, so I also want to try their gyro when I return.
I definitely recommend it, and it is very similar to new england roast beef.

i found this place on a random tuesday morning after i discovered (en-​route) that my office was closed for the day. in turning around on 395, i saw major league’s and thought to myself, well surely i’ll have to come back and try them someday. so, on the last leg of a short trip with my boyfriend, we decided to stop in here for a quick dinner.
note– the menu is overwhelming. i literally had to sit in one of the stadium-​style seats near the counter in order to take it all in, and make my selection. obviously the place is known for wings and roast beef (ahem. see name of business), but there’s a huge selection of sandwiches and burgers, as well as some other little sides and such.
my boyfriend went with the super beef sandwich and added melted cheddar. the beef itself was delicious– hearty, salty, and juicy. the melted cheddar was more of a sauce rather than actual cheese, but it was still tasty. and the thing was huge! he would have been fine with just the large.
i went with a cup of cream of asparagus soup (soup of the day), a cuban sandwich, and a side of pickles. first, the soup– so. good. the texture was nice and creamy without being too thick, and there was an ample amount of actual asparagus to help bump up the flavor. my cuban was fantastic, and pressed beautifully, but did stray a little from the traditional; the pulled pork was actually bbq pulled pork. it lent a sweetness that was unexpected, but worked really well with the salty ham, swiss, and the pickle. oh– the pickles! these are NY deli half sours to a T. they were garlicky, crisp, and refreshing. i’m so glad we opted to get them.
drink options are varied. there’s a cooler, or you can also get beer and wine. the beer and wine are all priced very affordably.
while the food was great, i have to say that what made our visit outstanding was the staff. they were friendly as can be, joking with us a little bit, and making sure we enjoyed our food. we will definitely be back. i can’t wait to try the wings!

Everything I’ve ordered over the years has been delicious so taste has never been an issue. The problems I encounter when I visit are all minor which keeps me coming back but seem to be getting worse. The tables and floors are almost always dirty and I have to do a lap around the restaurant and attempt to decipher which is the cleanest. The other thing I’ve noticed is the portion sizes shrinking drastically. I usually order the super beef combo (largest amount of roast beef in a sandwich?) which nowadays is essentially the same as just eating a bun with 7 fries and 3 onion rings. It’s a shame because the roast beef is really good you just don’t get much anymore.

Great selection you can’t go wrong here. A little pricey but well worth it. Try the clam chowder it’s awesome.

First off, let me say that this is one of my favorite places in the area. I go several times a month, and always enjoy my experience. That said, you do have to be a little selective sometimes as to what you get. Their menu is enormous, and not everything is a hit. The seafood, burgers, and some of their subs are just okay. Not disappointing, just not outstanding.
The true stars of the menu are the roast beef, pastrami, and wings. Be sure to sample the different sauces for the wings to find your favorite, mine is the Saigon Sizzle, a sweet and spicy east asian sauce that is so very different than anything else. If you’re more of a traditionalist, their buffalo sauce is always fresh and tasty, with the wings always hot, moist, and crunchy underneath. The roast beef is moist, the pastrami is lean, and the Reuben is as good as any my Jewish friend has had anywhere. So, try things out, find your favorites, and enjoy!
Last note: I enjoy takeout better than eating in, because their prices are little high for soda and chips.

Finally found a great local place for subs (and wings, and burgers)!
I’d moved back to the area a few years ago and had yet to find a nearby place with great subs; I don’t know what it is, but the local sub/​pizza shops I’ve tried have often had soggy bacon and/​or really bland steak subs.
On a whim, we ordered take-​out when a buffalo-​wing-​loving friend and his wife were visiting; all of us were very happy with our meals (I personally enjoyed two types of wings and a blue-​cheese stuffed burger). Since then, I have branched out to other items, my favorite being the haddock sub with cucumber wasabi. What pushed me to write a review, though, was recently trying their steak and cheese; not to overstate it, but my first bite signaled the end to a four-​year quest — I finally had an awesome steak and cheese near home!
I’ve always had good service (even humoring me when I stare dumbfounded at the huge menu), and the prices seem in line with other sub shops (though I would note that the subs are all one size, so be prepared to pay for — and eat — a Large). The recent addition of the Freestyle soda machine was a nice surprise as well.
The only downside is that they don’t deliver (though I’m guessing I’d be too far away, anyway). If you’re wondering how much I like this place, I end up coming up with reasons to go to the nearby warehouse club or home improvement store, just so I can stop here on the way home!
