J&M Book Store

As the saying goes, it’s a tiger of a bookstore!
My go-​to spot for anything Auburn related, especially gifts. Big selection of clothing for guys, gals, and kiddos. Also they’ve got art supplies and textbooks.
Closed Sundays unfortunately.

If you’re an Auburn fan, this place has you covered. It’s mostly clothing, but there’s so much more. I’m pretty sure they have every single item that the AU logo has ever been placed on. Unlike a lot of the chain fan stores, J&M has some pretty nice clothing as well.
Next time time you’re in Auburn, you should definitely stop by. I just wish they had an online store.

The original store located downtown Auburn. I frequented this store a few times to get myself all AU geared out. Nice selection that is attractively displayed and organized.
For some reason I tend to like this store better than their newer location farther outside of town. I cannot put a finger on it however, but I do like the fact it just seems more like a college bookstore. So I assume it’s atmosphere.
Outside of the walk was clean each time I walked in. Although no one was unpleasant, no one was overly helpful either. So this is a theme with both stores I have visited unfortunately. On my last visit they were so worried with closing precisely on time they ignored me completely. then they made an announcement to bring all items to cash register and began to turn off the lights… now that is just unfriendly.
The prices are as good as other places, if not better. So this is a reason to come here. I compared over several stores and they beat prices by a few dollars on everything. Inventory was high even in the Summer. If your looking for something AU they probably have it.
I was thrilled with the pricing and look of the store, however disappointed the customer service was not present. If someone from management is reading this in order to hike up reviews you must say hi at the door and ask the customer if they are looking for something, duh! It’s not rocket science… it’s just good customer service.

J&M is a solid place to buy Auburn swag and other orange and blue/​tiger themed stuff that suits your heart’s desire. I prefer it to the campus bookstore because they have a good selection, and it’s in the middle of downtown. Staff are super friendly and it’s easy to locate what you need (or really, really want).
They don’t have a parking lot, though. Metered street parking only, or walk there from your existing spot.

J&M is THE BEST place to find Auburn Souvenirs! They are always so friendly and they have everything you could imagine that is Auburn related! War Eagle!
