Behind the Glass is like Urban Outfitters goes Auburn. It is great. They have a lot of unusual things, hence the Urban Outfitters vibe. They carry an extensive amount of home décor, jewelry, cards, shoes, and clothes. Think billowy cotton tops that are embroidered, Jeremy Campbell and Steve Madden flats, and jewelry reminiscent of Forever 21. The home décor is unbeatable and the prices are reasonable.

When I lived in Auburn, this was one of the few cool shops that carried both housewares & gift items downstairs and a decent selection of women’s clothing upstairs.
I got a job here for a few months, but it didn’t work out (the owners were kind of crazy).
However, despite that bad experience, I still love this store. They carry Free People and some other cool brands and have a GREAT selection of funky stuff to outfit your dorm or apartment.
