Solid pizza when you’re drunk as hell and just want something greasy to eat. The staff is a little rude but they have to be when dealing with drunk college kids. The portions are generous and it’s relatively cheap.

This is the place to go when you want a big greasy slice of pizza for cheap. I love all pizza, and Little Italy is no different. Great place to visit!

Why is this place so amazeballs? I have been scarfing down pizza alla romania since I was a college student, at all hours and all stages of competency, and enjoyed every bite. Mm mm. They now have a back patio that apparently no one knows about, so give it a try if you can’t find a table.

Best place for quick pizza when you’re drunk and leaving the bars at 1 am.

Super casual, relaxed. Everyone is super nice and you get your food pretty quickly! Their calzone is my favorite and I always customize it! Portions are BIG. Great price for what you get.

Good, fast, cheap– What more could a college student ask for? Little Italy’s is my go to for a slice of pizza in Auburn. The slices are large and there are a ton of toppings to choose from. Their subs are also good… try the eggplant parmesan! They do $ 7 pitchers($ 5 during happy hour) which are some of the best prices in town. It’s just a dive place downtown, but it’s fantastic for the price! It’s always crowded at dinner time and late night after the bars so keep that in mind!

This has become our ‘go-to’ place when we need a quick bite but want to relax a bit. Great pizza for the price and cheap beer, too. We each have a couple of slices of pizza and a beer for around $ 10, and you can’t beat the people watching!

Most of the time I went here… was after the bar, so I think I would have enjoyed any pizza, from any place… but they win with the fact that they are open late night and right across from all of the bars/plus you can get pitchers of beer. It is a smart move for a college town pizzeria. I did eat here a few times when I wasn’t two bushwhackers deep. and it was pretty tasty pizza! My friend got his phone stolen here right off our table, so I guess that is the downfall of having a late night pizzeria with a bunch of drunk college students!

I am giving 4 stars to Little Italy Pizzeria because it is very dear to my heart. It is open until 3 a. m, and is the best drunken late night spot in Auburn. You can get very cheap pizza and pitchers here, and they generally have good beer specials. The restaurant is outdated, but it goes well with the late night atmosphere. I would keep it simple with a thin slice of cheese or pepperoni. I do not think I have ever eaten here sober, so I can’t really comment on the wait around dinner time. I doubt it is long though. Long live Little Italy!

Great quick, cheap pizza, subs, and beer. Huge slices. Just as good as more premium pizza places in Auburn, but much cheaper. Nice staff.

Good grief. This is the best pizza in Alabama. The sauce is very mild and simple, which is what I really like. I can’t say enough things about how tasty the pizza is! I live in Birmingham and always take at least one pie home with me whenever I visit Auburn. Om nom nom!

Once again — headed here for thin crust Neopolitan style pizza slices after a football game. Outside of Manhattan, they serve the best thin crust slices I’ve ever had. If only they existed in San Francisco. Sigh…

Located in downtown Auburn is another pizza joint that serves up some solid pizza. Flip a coin in the meter because the area is all metered. If you are dining after 5PM, or weekends enjoy FREE parking on the city. I dined in at Little Italy Pizzeria after 9PM on a weekday. A lot of youth, possibly college students, but I believe locals were just hanging out on the sidewalk. Not eating, no drinking, just smoking and blocking the walk. I did not care for this at all. Once inside the place was pretty standard tables with white tile floors. It really had the décor of a laundromat. I was just not feeling any type of ambiance, but hey this is a college town and a college hangout at night. But what about during the day? The place was really loud too, but I have got accustom to this on my downtown trips in Auburn in the evening. I worked my way to the counter and found the staff to be super nice when answering questions for a first timer. Beer specials like other local joints is super cheap by the pitcher. As i looked around it was obvious that this was a heavy drinking crowd with lots of pitchers on the tables. Everyone was having a good time and I saw no issues with anything that was even borderline disorderly. I put in an order for a couple of slices of peperoni and a draft beer. Let’s say I learned my lesson on Auburn pitcher earlier in the week, I’m a lightweight. I did easily find a table and it was clean. I had noticed that there was staff working themselves around the dining room to clear tables. The place was starting to get more and more congested. The pizza was really good and HUGE for the small amount of money you put out. My Blue Moon was tasty too. Napkins were on the tables with shakers of cheese and pepper. However, about 10 minutes into setting down a staff person started removing them just after 9:30PM. I asked if they were closing and his response was oh no, they just will get stolen by the late night crowd. That seemed pretty weird to me, I have I really be out of college that long? Is this was students do, or is this just the crowd they draw at Little Italy. Liked the pizza, liked the staff who waited on me too. But I disliked the loitering outside the establishment. I noticed that this was not a place that hired a few college students to monitor incoming and out coming customer traffic. Also the place just seemed cold with no atmosphere, unless you count the pitchers of beer stacked up on a tables. A lunch feel is probably completely different, so take it as you will and those reading know it was a later evening experience. As a parent this would not be a place for kids after 8PM.

This place serves pretty good pizza. My favorite is the Hawaiian. Their slices are generously cut, has lots of cheese, not too much sauce, and the crust is delicious. Depending on how hungry I am, one to two slices usually fill me up. However, when I factor in my experience from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave, this quickly drops from a five-star rating to two stars(as I should sort of expect anyway for being in the heart of a college town by bars). It’s an extremely noisy establishment where they keep the partying going I suppose since all the other surrounding bars shut down earlier than undergraduate students would like. One night I was there, there was a line for the bathrooms so a male student was throwing up in and AROUND the trashcan by the table I was sitting at. No employee appeared to care to do anything about that. Needless to say, my appetite was shot. Also, I found myself needing to use the restroom one evening while there and realized quickly I was better off waiting– they are disgusting. People walk in yelling and stumbling all over the place, you sadly see young ladies wearing the most degrading outfits coming from the bar sitting at the booth next to you, and people sometimes come up to you hitting on you/yelling at you like you are in a club. Basically, avoid coming here on weekends at all costs. I’ve tried eating there during an afternoon break after shopping as well as carried-out, both which I now prefer so I don’t have to stop getting some of their delicious pizza every now and then.

Glorious, inexpensive, tasty, bro/frat/football-tastic Auburn staple. I visited campus two weeks ago for a conference and stopped in here with a former professor. Loved the food and the selection of pies. I bought a small Pizza Alla Romania with chicken and it was amazing. The price was low and it was truly delicious, I mean way better than most college pizza places. Definitely returning during my next trip.

I walk to Little Italy from campus a lot with my co-workers for lunch. The lunch specials here are great and inexpensive for under $ 6 you get half a sub, chips(you can get a salad for $ 1 more), and a drink. As you walk in the door, you place your order, find a seat, and pick your food up when they call your number. The subs are good and full of flavor! Their pizza is good, with their gluten-free pizza being the best I have ever had at a restaurant! The staff is great and super helpful with tips and suggestions on what to order.
