This place is a great quick/​casual food option in an otherwise dismal part of town. A lunch spot in Atwater with a good salad bar… unheard of! Also, the chorizo breakfast burrito is awesome. The staff is always super friendly and the place is clean and comfortable.

If there ever was a restaurant in Merced County the warranted a 5 star rating it’s the New Day Café at Castle Airport. Breakfast is stellar and Lunch is perfect simplicity. Located in the parking lot of the old pac bell call center just inside the Castle gates, make it a point to stop by! The staff made me feel like I was having breakfast with my own family, great job on bringing life and fantastic food back to Castle

My husband and I came here for lunch. I thought my sandwich was delicious and pretty big I didn’t even finish it. The atmosphere was great. Everyone working there were very nice and always asked if we needed anything… We will surely be coming back.

New Day Café had delicious food. They had good service all around, all the way from the waittress being very polite to the meals being prepared so quickly. In addition, the décor gave the café a welcoming vibe. It is certainly one of the best resturaunts in Atwater.
