Too bad the revel shut down. I really liked this place for late night eats because of how affordable and quick it was.

This review is just a formality since the place is closing in 2 days. I got a quality meal at an affordable price and am glad to have gotten the opportunity to do so. Revel is/was a beautiful property that simply didnt work, and that is unfortunate. I do enjoy that people working in this sinking ship have kept their smiles on and their sense of humor(see picture)

It’s a nice looking spot with plenty of space. Service was mediocre all around(hostess, waitress, server). Took a little while for the food to come but there were five people at my table. Thankfully, the food was good. Had the turkey club with fries. Nothing fancy but it was quite well made. Would come back but I might be the only person in my party who’d say that.

This place is 24 hours so that’s automatically a plus. I was very excited to find something open late after dancing the night away. Anything tastes great at 4am so I was pleased with my steak, eggs & fries. However, my last few times dining here were just mediocre. The servers are great, they sure do a good job at hiring awesome people, but the food is slow to come out. This place is ideal for a quick bite but none of the dishes are outstanding. I’ve had the nachos, buffalo wings, sweet potato fries & garden salad. All are reasonably priced but not really delicious. I would go here if nothing else is open but if not, pick from one of the various restaurants at Revel.

1.5 stars. The +0.5 is for being cheap. Most of the food here is pretty subpar– but what do you expect for such cheap eats?! Like $ 4 breakfast items and $ 5 burgers and $ 10 steak & shrimp? You really can’t expect to something spectacular for such little money. Then again, they could season their food better too. You can’t beat $ 20 bottles of wine though at a restaurant. I like their clam chowder soups and the pizzas aren’t bad. Eh, it’s not really worth writing much about. Cheap eats and that’s that.

Relish is really great when everything else is closed! The quesdadillas were amazing and the service was awesome. Opened 24⁄7. Good for groups!

It’s 1AM and I am starving, sadly it looks like I’ll be starving a lot longer because of the backwards management in this place! Holy hell! Since when does it take an HOUR to make a quesadilla with pre-cooked chicken! Well, when the management is giving away your food accidentally and no one tells you a word I suppose. We sat there asking about this lone quesadilla for quite some time. The food itself is fine. The service… Well you could get a quesadilla faster if you heated cheese on one of the many hot lamps…

Okay, it needs to be said up front that Relish is not one of the upscale, ocean-view, dining establishments in the Revel casino. However, those high end eateries were closed until 5 pm, and we wanted a light lunch with some quality food. We took a shot with Relish, and were glad we did. The style of this café is sort of upscale diner or cafeteria, but I have to say the service was amazing — similar to what I’d expect at a five star restaurant. All the servers we spoke to were friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help us find something we’d enjoy. We settled on the«Dirty nachos with turkey chili» This was a terrific twist on the classic nachos platter and we both enjoyed it immensely. The chicken dumplings(pot stickers) were decent but too salty for our taste. No big deal. Prices here are very reasonable, and you leave feeling satisfied without being«hosed» by inflated casino prices. All in all a very nice place to grab lunch or a quick bite. I was also impressed that Revel has sought to hire some smart, well-spoken young folks for this restaurant. We had a really good conversation with«Mo» about international politics, the restaurant business, and of course, about Unilocal :) If you stop by Relish, be prepared for simple, good food at reasonable prices, and ask for Mo.

Relish is a good moderatly priced food option at the Revel casino. I ordered the turkey burger. I enjoyed the french fries on the side but the turkey burger taste like a huge patty that had been sitting in a freezer for a couple of months. I would try their quesadilla next time.

We went here for a bite while we wait for our hotel room and needed to use our Travelzoo $ 25 dining credit, which only applies to certain restaurants. They have a few specials, which is always good. Relish is a 24 hour diner with a dressed up modern décor. It definitely serves its purpose. They have 20 bottles of wines to choose from that are only $ 20, which is for dine-in only. Who cannot resist, especially after a long drive in!!! We ordered the burger special for $ 4.99, which is only a burger. A regular burger usually comes with fries or a salad for $ 10.95. The burger was a pretty decent size. It was juicy and definitely hit the spot. We decided to order the tater tots and zucchini sticks for sides. The taters were crispy, as they should be. The zucchini sticks tasted like mozzarella sticks minus the cheese, which means a delicious alternative to American junk done right. Our server was Shahru, and he was friendly and provided us good service. When the food arrived at our table, the presentation could’ve been better. Plates had burger juices and char from the grill around the edges. The runner could wipe the plates making it look cleaner and not just thrown on a plate. The turn over at Relish isn’t quick enough. The busser took quite awhile to clear and clean tables. This restaurant has a lot of potential, and management needs to step it up.

I came to Relish for a very late dinner. I was pretty much starving at this point so I think any food would have been heaven. I ordered the Veggie Burger and it came with Havarti cheese, sprouts, Russian dressing and a side of french fries. The burger was good but after a while I ditched the bun. If I was going to fill up on carbs, I wanted it to be with delicious, greasy french fries. I was dinning with a friend who also ordered a burger and fries and noticed that her plate had significantly more fries than mine. Luckily for me she didn’t eat them all so I helped her out. There is a brick oven where the pizza is made. Next time I will try that. If you are dining, gambling or dancing at Revel and looking for decent American food that is not too expensive, Relish is for you.

I thought the desserts were great but I love my sweets and coffee. It seemed very clean and open looking but the waiter service could have been better. I posted a few pics of the desserts that were freshly made. The apple pie was a bit skimpy or should I say very thin in the slice and the crust and pie was about an inch thick but tasty.

Based on my experience, I’d ‘bet’ that Relish is hit and miss, especially since our visit was quite good considering the recent negative reviews. First off, I like their new location. Relish has moved back behind the Mussel Bar. The space makes more sense then the previous location, and it has the look of an upscale, bustling diner-style restaurant. There is a $ 9.99 steak and shrimp(and green beans) dish that really hit the spot. We also ordered a grilled reuben which came with a side salad, all very good. The hostess was a bit emotionless, but the server was smiling, polite and attentive. Our order arrived in approximately ten minutes. In my opinion, that was about as good of a $ 23 lunch for two as you’ll get in a sit down, Atlantic City casino restaurant.(Check your Revel card for comp money as well). It was busy yet we didn’t feel rushed. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Many people are killing this place based on the service… so I will also rate on service and give Relish four stars. Our waiter, Vito, was so incredibly attentive and tuned in to our kids’ needs(8yo, 5 yo, and 3yo) that we were able to manage them and our own meals seamlessly. We were seated immediately, the food came out promptly and, I must say, I was surprised at the quality of the food, as well. The chocolate chip pancakes with a spread of butter and a touch of syrup were very satisfying, and their $ 3.99 dine-in breakfast special was good all around: breakfast potatoes are like KFC wedges(which, in my book, means they’re yummy), scrambled eggs are decent, and the bacon was very good. Cheap meal, good taste, no jacket and tie required. Vito — you are the man!

I’ve eaten and drank here too many times. When we’re drunk, hung over, hungry for breakfast food at 4am or at 11am it doesn’t matter, they’re opened! I’ve tried all their promotions. $ 3.99 burger, good. $ 4.99 breakfast, good [although the scrambled eggs were TOO buttery and you can’t choose your eggs] and the $ 9.99 steak shrimp, good. Another thing I liked was their breakfast. I recently [01/01/14] ordered the corned beef hash with eggs and home fries. I liked it but thought that the hash was too onion-y and garlic-y. Perhaps garlic powder? I also ordered a side of waffles, they served real maple syrup and didn’t charge extra. Their creamed butter was tasty. And they gave a generous amount of toast! The people were friendly and my recent visit New Year’s day, the service was unbelievably fast, Our food came out in less than 8 minutes!!! I gave them 5 stars because they are reliable [24 hours]; they are inexpensive, and the food is simple but good and not pretentious! I also love the relocated Relish. Much more apt than the last spot.

Not great but just OK… if you want something to eat late night than this 24 hr location is just what your looking for. SO busy around 1 – 4 am but there’s enough tables. Staff seemed a little confused and exhausted but it’s to be expecting when dining so late at night. Prices were fair and staff was friendly but food was just OK wouldn’t come here voluntarily if I had other options

Great for a 4am breakfast run before going to bed. I had the turkey chili, and it had a nice flavor. It was a little unusual with the fries on top of it, bit it was a nice touch. Could have been spicier for me, but overall it was good. Will have to go back and try the eggs next time.

If you’re in the mood for a medicore meal on a budget, I suggest you head to Relish in Revel. $ 9.99 for steak and shrimp, sayyyyyyy whattttttt? Ok, let us order 5 then: x It’s not on the menu so you need to specifically ask for that special. Let me tell you, eating and drinking at midnight was so satisfying. But you MUST eat at the restaurant, no take outs. Opted to get a glass of Moscato($ 9), one of my fav wines, my bartender suggested I get a full bottle($ 20) instead bc it’s more bang for my buck. Umm… yes please! We practicely finished it by the end of the night and slightly tispy now I must say. But thank god for autocorrect on my phone for this review. Service was slow but the food was decent. I’ll definitely come back again.

After some serious eating the previous three nights, we were looking for a casual place to eat at Revel. Glad we ate here. Besides the Revel restaurants — SkyCafe and Alcove, this is the only kid friendly restaurant in the Casino level. The food was decent and the service was great. The steak frites was good — steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. My wife’s salmon was delicious too. My parents got the steak and cheese and they said it was so so. Too bad Michel Richard’s Central closed — was looking forward to it. I understand why Revel made the switch to Relish. They say It’s open 24⁄7 but two nights I was there it was closed. The food prices are reasonable. They kept the Central décor making this a really nice casual restaurant.

I was disappointed to find out the Michel Richard’s Central restaurant had decided to close because consumers wanted more economically priced options at Revel(who filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March) because they had the most BOMB fried chicken and sausage gravy biscuit on their brunch menu… but at least there’s a location here in DC that I can visit. Relish is open 24⁄7 and serves American-style diner food, from salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees such as meatloaf, chicken pot pie, and etc. They also have a full bar available as well. I ordered a cup of clam chowder soup and a caesar salad because I wanted something light before we went to the pool. The clam chowder was plain and flavorless until I sprinkled pepper into it, and the caesar salad barely had any dressing mixed into it… My girlfriend ordered the eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes and had no complaints about it. Our food came out quickly, but they forgot a few things and were apologetic after we reminded them. From what I’ve learned, they just opened Memorial Day weekend, so I’m sure that they have a few more kinks to iron out.
