Zibas is a place where small plates make a meal Once paired with the right wine and an atmosphere that is Haight Asbury Down South. We loved it. The trick is finding it!

Overall, we had a great experience here. This place stands out as a unique offering for the city. The ambience is very inviting and the food is delicious. Some of our favorite dishes were the watermelon salad, the turmeric mussels, the chicken piccata, and the rosemary crème brûlée, The servers were very nice, but the service was not at par with what we were expecting. We imagine this was not the normal level of service. That said, as this was our first time dining there, it brought down what would have been a five star experience to a four star experience. We will come back again and hope to make it 5 stars

My experience has been just ok but not great. And, I really want to like this place. Because I love the neighborhood feel and ambiance. The first few times, the food was good. But on my recent visit, my salmon flatbead was on chips and not that flavorful. And, the beet salad had dressing that taste more like a squeezed lemon than a vingerette. It seems like they have a new chef.

Stopped by after visiting the Atlanta Zoo for a late lunch. Had the chicken wrap and salmon wrap with tomato soup. Very tasty across the board. The best part was the hummus appetizer. Excellent! Would certainly come back

Was here for dinner last night. I have to say very impressed with everything. For starters we had the hummus. yummy! Next up a spinach salad for me. It had all things good, eggs, bacon, and spinach. Whats not to like? We both shared the chicken piccata, and the Ga trout. I was impressed with the taste and also quantity size of the entrees! Beer and wine selection had a nice mix. Service was great… no attitude!!! I will be back.

Went here for dinner on a Saturday night and had a great time. The food was good, the service was great, the cocktails were tasty, and the vibe of the place is just awesome. Very relaxing place to have a nice dinner. Our group particularly enjoyed the calamari and the mussels in the fennel sauce. Really good spot and we will be back!

Such a cute neighborhood gem! If you drive too fast, you’ll definitely miss it. It’s located right at the corner of Boulevard and Rosalia and although they don’t have an actual parking lot, I found parking on the street very easy in Rosalia. Once I walked in, I feel in love with the ambiance. There was art on the walls, cute floral center pieces at each table with tea lights. The décor was very simple, people in the restaurant just really seemed to be there to relax. It’s just seemed really calm for a Friday night and I liked that. Not too quiet, not too loud. Now the menu had all sorts of things to choose from and the prices were reasonable. I settled on the salmon flatbread which I enjoyed and a few of the ladies in my group had an empanadas, the chicken piccata, the bow tie pasta. I’m told that they enjoyed their food and I must say the portion size was pretty big. The waitress was okay. I’m not sure if she was working a lot of other tables but she was missing a lot. So I can’t say the service was outstanding but it was okay. I would recommend this place to others simple because of the chill atmosphere here. You can eat, drink, and be merry all while looking at some beautiful artwork(if that’s your thing).

This is a neighborhood gem! I went for brunch and they do have unlimited Bloody Marys and mimosas for $ 15. Everyone’s food was tasty including the yummy rosemary crème brûlée. The ambience is also adorable. I will be bringing my girls back for brunch soon.

The atmosphere is perfect, warm and cozy to wind down from a stress induce weekend. The food has not arrived but I can tell by the piped in music and the spirit of this location, the spirits are speaking to me. I can hear the sound of the people who came before me, there smiles, the clinging of wine glasses and the laughter the echoes into infinity. The freshly decorated art work from local artists paint a theme of rustic marmalade flavored memories of loving hand sewn fabrics and scarves for the winter. The theme is «bestrode» between a renaissance era with a majestic flare that is hidden between the secrets of the recipes. Choose your theme well. The rest is a mental adventure Bön Appetite!

Great food, rather poor service, but I was expecting to be blown away. Had the white wine mussels, the salmon flatbread, and the calamari. The calamari comes with a great sweet chili sauce that I could use more of in my life. The white wine mussels come in a creamier sauce than to be expected, but delicious still. Served with AMAZING fries. I want more fries. Wasn’t a fan of salmon flatbread. Chocolate mousse was VERY rich, but good for a spoonful. Server just kept forgetting about people and there was no one in the restaurant. Drinks were not great, so probably stick with somthing very basic.

I stopped here with a friend before heading to Lakewood last Sunday. This small little place did not disappoint. If you like mojitos then you will love their Bichon Frise. I don’t like grapefruit but this was a whole new twist on it. For dinner I split the steak frittes with a friend. I suddenly wished I hadn’t once I tasted it. Very good! Can’t wait to go back and try new things. I have a lot to check out in Grant Park!

When you get the menu, I would kindly like to draw your attention first to one thing: MUSSELS. I didn’t even know I liked mussels before Ziba. Maybe I don’t, but Ziba tricked me into it. And they don’t skimp on them either. Being placed next to the«Small Bites» on the paper is misleading because the dish itself is HUGE. It’s gotta be, to contain the saucy broth, shellfish, and bread. Our plate of Spicy Chorizo Mussels was split between two people, but only because our third attendee couldn’t eat(late-blooming festival side-effects). Their chorizo is the ground meat kind rather than a sausage, yet this pork+shellfish combination kicks serious butt and flavor. I wish there had been more bread to help soak up the tangy broth, but we made do by scooping it up in spoons because we didn’t want it to go to waste. Tried soaking the accompanying French Fries in it and… yeah, not quite the same. :P We also ordered the Watermelon small bites as an appetizer. It was fresh and minty, but not quite a hit for me since the watermelon tasted more like cucumber than watermelon. My friend’s Steak Frites came pre-chopped into slices and lathered with blue cheese sauce, and once I got over the(shudder) blue cheese flavor, the meat was very tender and perfectly medium rare. My Café au Lait was delicious and emptied too soon. Ziba is also majorly winning in its atmosphere. This is the Italy of my idyllic dreams, complete with rustic walls, blurry yet beautiful paintings, and billowy curtains. Pseudo-outdoor seating is guarded with a ceiling fan to keep away the moist heat. The jazzy music strangely fits in. Service could have been better, but also could have been much worse. The bathroom was clean and functional, hued a darker shade than the main dining area. If Atlanta were home I’d definitely be back to try more mussel concoctions. I spied something about a happy hour for these on the menu, so there may be even more reason for you to visit and carry on in my stead!

Absolutely love Ziba’s. We live in the neighborhood and walk over for dinner all the time. The service is great and everyone is always so nice and friendly. They are super accommodating about substitutions with dishes and always have great specials. The sangria is delicious and they have a good wine selection(as the name suggests). They no longer serve brunch :( Locally owned, the staff is always cheerful and awesome. Everything is really great on the menu, but my personal favorite consistent item is probably the white bean burger. The menu changes and the specials are usually my go to. Definitely stop in here if you get a chance!

I really wanted to try rias bluebird after reading amazing reviews on Unilocal(570 reviews and 4 stars). Went there with my husband for Sunday brunch. Parking lot was packed and the wait was 1 hr. We decided to go somewhere else. After digging into Unilocal we found ziba’ bistro. I had no patience to wait for another 45 mins so I called them to see if there is any wait. No wait! So we head ziba’s. It’s located in a residential area. Although they don’t have a private parking lot, parking was not hard to find. After entering the bistro we realized that most of their staff is very young. Early 20s. One kid greeted us and asked if we would like to sit outside. We preferred to sit inside. He sat us on a nice big table for 4 people. Place was busy. I think ours was the only table left. Interior is interestingly decorated. Huge balloons, lamps and maps. There was a map of Southern Europe and Mediterranean carved into the wall just above our table I could see the beautiful reflection of it in the mirror across from me. One guys came to take our drink order. Since we were starving we placed drink and food order together. We ordered café latte, burrito, spicy steak and eggs and french toast with walnuts and bananas. My café latte didn’t come at first. I kept waiting. He got our food first and then I had to remind him about my coffee. It took 25 mins for me to get my latte. Our food came with a side of hash browns. Like my dad I hate white potatoes. I rarely eat them. But these hash browns were just amazing. I actually finished more than 50% of it. It’s kinda a big deal for a person who absolutely hates potatoes. Burrito lacked flavor but it was still delicious. My husband said that the spicy steak & egg is not too spicy, yet it was delicious. French toast was too good. I am really happy to find ziba’s. It’s not crazy busy like other famous restaurants and so delicious. I would definitely go here again.

I first started visiting Ziba’s shortly after they opened with a guy I was dating at the time. He adored Ziba’s so we visited about once a week. It was later in the evenings so we would have small bites and cocktails. The cocktails here are inventive and tasty more often than not. I can’t remember the small plates I had during my early visits as I was in a love haze, but I remember never complaining about our dining experiences. Most recently I’ve been visiting Ziba during late lunch hours — after 2:00pm or so. It’s very quiet — maybe 1 – 2 other patrons and the staff is relaxed but still doing their job. My favorite menu item is the carrot salad with soy ginger dressing. I think I would have soy ginger dressing on any salad but this salad is perfect — greens, tomatoes, carrots, pecans and the dressing. I love it.(I usually get my protein on the side.) They’ve mentioned bottling their salad dressings, and if they did, I would be so happy. My current favorite cocktail is the pepper pear caipiroska. It’s a spicy, lemony cocktail that is done right. Ziba’s has become a place I think of as regular stop. If I want good food without a lot of fuss, I know that I can come here. Unilocal 100 #19

We had an okay experience here Friday night. Pros: Beet Salad was flavorful Interesting drink choices Tasty mussels(we got the fennel) and big portion Nice portion size on the Georgia trout Cons: Tiny salmon on the salad Our table was awkwardly placed near another table for two The drink my date ordered was weak and tasted like sweet n low I know margins are thin at restaurants, but try hiding where you cut your corners better; a small piece of salmon is really noticeable. If you’re going to charge $ 8 for a drink(not that expensive, I know) it shouldn’t taste like a well whiskey sour.
