The best Wendy’s in the city. Good Food service, Quick, and food is right every time. Don’t believe me they have a 100 food service score.

The strawberry fields salad is delicious! I have three words for you: applewood smoked bacon. Yum! I ordered the half size salad with a small fry that looked more like a kids size fry, but I let it slide because I probably shouldn’t have been having fries anyway. The half size is more like 2⁄3 and very filling. The pomegranate dressing is the best one; good customer service as well.

Dear Wendy, Not the little you with pig tails. The you in a wedding dress walking through a field of clovers. I have scoffed at all of your commercials, but I have guffawed at this one. I like salads in bowls. From real restaurants. However, I owe you an apology. That summer strawberry whatever salad is delicious. Maybe better than your spicy chicken Ceasar(though I really do like that lemon Caesar dressing, so maybe it’s a toss up). And you make half and whole sizes which is great because the half is plenty big for me when our Designated Office Lunch person goes to get food. Please come up with an equally yummy seasonal salad come fall. And think about a grilled, non-spicy chicken Caesar. Then I will love you forever, to keep and to cherish. Fondly, CN

Love their chili, chicken Caesar salad, and baked potato. This location is nicer than most.

I’m not a fan of fast food, and eat it as little as possible. This Wendy’s is right by my office, so I find myself there a few times a month. Service is always friendly, and my order is always on point… AND there’s a gentleman that does the drive thru window that has the coolest voice! He should do radio commercials! When you get him at the drive thru, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about!!! There was a recent remodel, and the Wendy’s on Howell Mill is FANCY! Flat screen TV, fire place wall, lounge seating even! Cool update Wendy’s!

Howell Mill Wendy’s is my neighborhood Wendy’s. I’ve been coming to this Wendy’s since I was a college student at Georgia Tech. In those days, the 99¢ value menu existed. These days, it’s the«Right Price Right Size Value Menu,» a menu Wendy’s has been rolling out to its restaurants nationwide in 2013. While I’m disappointed, I can’t blame them. Costs increase. Less than half of the original 99¢ menu items are still available for 99¢. Examples of items I typically order that used to be 99¢: Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger — now $ 1.59 Double Stack — now $ 1.79 Caesar or Garden Side Salad — now $ 1.39 Small Chili — now $ 1.49 Regardless of the price increases, the value menu is still dirt cheap. You can stuff yourself silly for just about $ 5.00 with a meal that includes vegetables, carbs, protein, and a sweet dessert. Plus, 99¢ items still exist, such as the Jr. Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, 4-piece Chicken Nuggets, and a «Value» sized Natural-Cut Fries, soft drink, and Frosty. When it comes to fast food, I prefer Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s because, to me, they taste better. Wendy’s isn’t far behind, though. They’ve stepped their game up in the French fry department. I also think their nuggets and side salads(using mixed greens) are underrated. I like that you can get their nuggets spicy. Also, I love the Vanilla Frosty. So much better than the chocolate, IMO. This Wendy’s location underwent a renovation within the past few years, so it has a relatively fresh and updated look. The inside is much nicer and more contemporary-looking than before and now features a Coca-Cola Freestyle touchscreen fountain drink machine. Also, the drive-thru menu is clear, well-organized, and easy to read. Howell Mill Wendy’s is located on Howell Mill Rd. at I-75.

Another outstanding visit to the fast food universe. After ordering, I wandered over to the massive«Things of the Future» soda machine they’ve installed like a giant robot in the middle of the restaurant. When I selected Coke Zero, it told me it was«sold out.»(It was sold out yesterday too.) I humbly mentioned this to the cashier, who couldn’t have been sweeter. She called the manager(the one with the mangled headset) and informed her of the situation. The manager a) mumbled something incoherent to herself; and b) wandered vaguely into the back of the kitchen, eventually vanishing behind a bread tray. The cashier told me the manager would fix the robot for me. After five minutes of nothing happening, I poured myself a Diet Coke. Then I tried to get ketchup from the industrial vat next to the napkins. Empty. Reported problem to cashier. She laughed(who couldn’t see the humor in this?) and offered me some mini-packets. Ten minutes later, as I was gnawing my way through a rather tough boneless wing, I heard a weird air-sucking sound over and over again across the restaurant. I looked up to find another hapless patron trying to hammer ketchup from the empty five-hundred gallon vat, to no avail. Still no sign of «management.» I swear, Chick-fil-A will win another five hundred people for Jesus by the time this place changes the Coke Zero…
