Mellow Mushroom

The best stuffed mushroom salad and the best calzones and the service makes u feel at home the bartender was extremely sweet and nice and so were the servers good ol American food and it’s yummy if u are in downtown don’t miss it

I went with a group of 5 for lunch on Thursday afternoon June 9^th in downtown Atlanta on Peach street. After waiting 50 minutes, none of the orders came out. The manager came over to the table and apologized for the delay and told us that he would not charge us and that the orders would just take few more minutes. We asked for them to go because we couldn’t wait any longer. After about 5 minutes, 4 of the orders came out. My grilled chicken salad never arrived. The manager asked me again what my order was and that he would be right back with it. After waiting 10 more minutes, the manager never came back so after waiting a full hour for a simple salad, I left without anything. Thanks for nothing Mellow Mushroom. I should have went to Jimmie Johns next door.

After seeing the Coca Cola museum around the corner my son and I came here for dinner. He ordered off the kids menu. I was happy that he could pick a healthy side of steamed broccoli! I ordered the Shiitake Mushroom pizza. Our server Quiana was helpful and suggested what size would be perfect for me know and which one to choose so I could have leftovers tonight at the hotel!
The food was outstanding! It’s hard to be original when it comes to pizza; but the Mello Mushroom is! I’m sure we will be back at some point during our vacation.
The service was great! Thanks Quiana! The music was great, pop 80’s mix. And the restaurant was clean and easy to find.
Prices were perfect and I feel like the portions were oversized!
A must try!

I came with my 20 students to this MM after seeing a play at the nearby Shakespeare Playhouse. We called ahead with our order since we were such a large group on a tight schedule. Everything was perfectly set for us and we were only missing one pizza from our order, that we ended up not needing so it worked out. My personal kosmic karma was perfectly delicious and the service was just great, especially given our size.

Great food and great priced drinks in a great location. The server was very nice and good at making sure our drinks were filled and our food was hot. Spinach dip is very yummy and I love that they have different beers and ciders that I enjoy. The sculptures above us were so awesome and eye catching and they had great out door seating.

This was walking distance to the World of Coke, so we stopped in for lunch in the way. Fantastic Pizza! This pizza is a little on the pricier side, but definitely worth the money. We built our own pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage. A large was enough for 3 of us to share with 2 slices leftover. Don’t forget to order your free cheese bread for checking in on Unilocal!
I have been to a few Mellow Mushrooms, but the décor in this one was very unique and cool.
Service was good and food was great. We would return.

I don’t know why I keep allowing myself to be duped by Mellow Mushroom. Their pizza isn’t really even that good & their service is always the worst. Maybe it’s because their one of the only places open later on a Sunday night. While our server was very polite, she completely forgot about us, more than once. The pizza, was like it always is, just pizza. Nothing special. No joke, every Mellow Mushroom I’ve been to, the service is slow & too lax. College town servers don’t give a shiz about their service, they just need a job to pick up a few extra bucks & Mellow Mushroom employees are always the «whatever» types.

Ordered the spinach dip and cheese pizza.
Food was pretty good. Wish we had more dip, really small portion. The kitchen was a really slow with our order due to a oven malfunction, so the mgr took care of our tab.

Served fast, very good price, very good taste. Had a pizza, a soup and a salad. All were good. This deserves more visits.

Disappointing experience. We were seated by an employee who seemed confused about where to put us, but without asking for our preferences between table and booth. It took over ten minutes for someone to take our drink order, and someone different brought us back our drinks and explained he would be taking over for the previous employee.
The group put in our orders, and after another long round of sitting about half of the food was delivered. Keep in mind that during this time the waiter would circle back to the table to ask if someone had finally brought me a lemon for my Iced Tea (which they never did).
Eventually everything was delivered except my order of wings, which the waiter explained had somehow been missed. They arrived by the one my friends had finished their food, and were pretty lackluster (not much meat to them, and since when is half an order of chicken wings only five?)
I can see why this place appeals to people, and the menu is diverse, but I’m pretty wary about going back the next time I’m in the area.

Wasn’t sure what to expect just knew that the pizza has received a lot of hype. It was ok, nothing special, in my opinion. I got the Mediterranean pizza.
The menu did have some unique options for the pizzas which was interesting. I’d go back to try something else but wouldn’t go out of my way.
Liked the cool décor.
Staff was pleasant but they seemed a little overwhelmed with the small dinner crowd (went at appx 6pm).
Overall it was a good experience just didn’t think it was anything that special or «worth writing about» (as I finish my Unilocal post).

Ah, Mellow Mushroom. What’s not to crave and adore about it?! Best choices are Lil Salads (Greek & tossed are my favs) AND Kosmic Karma pizza. Always tasty and great price.

I love this place!!! I discovered it in Denver and when I saw it was in Atlanta, I had to go. I learned that the original location is in Atlanta and they have about 15 sites in the city.
The food tastes the same and it is delicious. I have the Mighty Meaty pizza and some beer. They seem to support local breweries, which is great.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

I’m in love with this chain.
They have so many options on the menu. It’s perfect for solo or group. I love that they offer vegetarian and vegan options.
I went to this location on a Saturday night. The store manager was so accommodating as I asked for substitution items on the pizza. I had the vegan Thai Dye pizza with curry tofu. I also received the Unilocal check-​in offer of chz bread (vegan). They did put a little bit too much cheese but it was all good.
I particularly love the BBQ tempeh hoagie!!! A full size one is huge, almost good for two meals. It’s so flavorful and well marinated. It’s probably the best tempeh I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend this item no matter if you were vegetarian/​vegan or meat-​eater.
I will definitely be back again!

Love mellow mushroom primarily because their bruschetta is close to home — Sicily Home that is. To all my Sig friends, GO TO MELLOW MUSHROOM AND ORDER IT! So delish! And of course they have so many options for pizza! Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-​free, meat lovers. Everybody lovers

I like this place. My 1^st time to a Mellow Mushroom and it turned out to be a very Pleasant experience and learning experience for my Mini Me. 2 Thumbs Up.

Great pizza, impeccable service and good prices! I went with my uncles and my cousin and we ordered the hummus appetizer, a small Maui Wowie pie, a small mighty meaty, a small Thai Die Pie, an Enlightened Spinach Salad and two desserts: the key lime pie and the Mary Jane’s brownie. My favorite dessert was the key lime, the brownie was just okay.

Not only were the pretzels and pizza incredible, but the staff is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. They’re up for whatever swaps, changes, additions, etc. you might want to make.
If you like soft pretzels, even a little bit, the pretzels are a must-​try. They’re not your typical butter brushed, browned, salt-​covered pretzels. They’re lighter in color, come in different flavors, and are absolutely delicious. Also, they come in threes, but you can split flavors within a single order — for example, 2 of one flavor and 1 of another. Delicious.

Mellow Mushroom is the bomb. When I lived in North Carolina, we ate at the shroom allllll the time. The pizza is fresh and the crust is light and airy yet thick. Being originally from Chicago, I prefer thin crust (real Chicagoans only eat deep dish when their friends are visiting from out of town). Mellow consistently hits the spot. I don’t know if they put crack in the Italian sausage but it is crumbly seasoned perfection.
The gluten free pizza crust is made with special care and guess what? It doesn’t taste like a wheat replacement product. It’s delicious. The salads are awesome too. You can make your own, which I’m a big advocate of.
Service is usually good although last time the server didn’t know what vegan meant (even though they advertise vegan cheese on their menu). But after explaining no cheese and no butter, we were on our way to pizza perfection.
Nothing is bad here.

Solid place. Our server was great — very mellow and gave great recommendations. The pretzels app was huge and delicious, as was the spinach dip. The drink menus were a bit lacking as they were missing a lot of the beers and didn’t give us a full cocktail menu.
The pizzas were amazing. I got the red skin potato and it was so good. Chewy thick crust and delicious toppings. It reminds me of a casual Bertucci’s with better pizza. I could barely finish half of it (after eating those pretzels). I wouldn’t make a special trip but would go back if I was in the area.
