There product and service were so bad. I will add a picture so people can see what they gave me. I stood in front of the register for a pick order for 10 mins and no employee said anything to me. I order a pepperoni pizza and it was under cooked and it lacked pepperoni(presentation was horrible). I have eaten at other Johnny pizzas with no problem, this one is just horrible. I wish I could give it a lower rating then one star.

Stopped in to grab a bite by myself, 8pm on a Monday. Passed by 4 associates and waited 5 minutes before anyone spoke to me. I saw my waiter, LEILA, twice. Once to take my order(and walked away while I was speaking) and once to drop off my check. Food was okay. Really disappointed with the wait service.

Food is ok but I always wait over 1 hour for delivery. I only live 2 miles away. And when I call to check on my food the staff seems bothered. Don’t promise delivery in 50 minutes if you cannot hit the window.

Called to price food and have it delivered. But the girl was pretty rude so decided not to eat here. I’m sure Domino’s is grateful for your business.

I have ordered from them for the last time. Pizza is always cold and not cooked enough. I wish I could say it was better because it is close and they deliver.

Great food, horrible service and not kid friendly. Just came in with my kids, ages 6, 8, 10. My youngest was not offered a color page. When I asked about getting the kids food first, it seemed like I was bothering my waitress. I’m a single father with 3 children. You keep my kids happy, I’m happy. They stayed calm as the food did not take long. Our waitress(C.B.) never checked on us after our food came out. Never asked if we needed refills. Never saw her again until she brought the check. Very disappointed.

When I work in this area I always stop by Johnny’s for lunch. In true New York style you can order by the slice. You will need to know how to fold it properly. They staff is great and the building has its own unique style.

The wings here are so good. I love the pizza you get so much for the price they are super friendly. The special they have is a great option with the cheese pizza, specially with 2 kids that can eat you out of house and home. Will difinally be going back there.

We Like it, usually understaffed but the food hits the spot. Plenty of parking decent amount of seating. Beer is cheap by comparison. Live music and a few TVs. I wish it was closer to home but we think it’s worth the drive.

Great food! Great service! Good prices! My family eats at Johnny’s a few times a month. It is around the corner from us and they deliver. I love their calzones and Stromboli. Their wings are good too. We normally get lemon pepper with a side salad.

There is a lot if good pizza in Atlanta. So it is beyond me how this chain is successful. This location is a stone’s throw from Fellini’s and Antico. Why do people settle for this bland imitation of a pizza?

We used to go here all the time on Mondays for $ 1 slice night… but it really isn’t worth it anymore. Nothing is extraordinary. The pizza crust is soggy in the middle and the quality is inconsistent. Once I found some type of print transferred onto my cheese slice, from the cheese packaging? receipt order placed ontop? IDK but that was the last straw. I’ll spend my $ 1’s elsewhere. Service was good since we were regulars.

I’m really impressed with this Johnny’s. I guess I hadn’t been to a Johnny’s maybe since like. 2006 or 2005? Can that be true? I don’t even know if I ever really noticed this location consciously. I’ve been to the one in Kennesaw. and maybe like one other? Went for lunch, and wasn’t expecting much but a dark, aged pizza place but it was bright and looked clean and upbeat. There were pics and signs all over the place mentioning specials, the WIFI password, the membership thingy you can join to get points towards credit at Johnny’s… etc. Even a metal part of the wall with magnets on it, for those kids that always end up standing up on the seat of the booth staring at the person eating alone behind them. Talking to the poor sap while the kid’s own parents are having a pleasant, no-care-in-the-world meal. :ahem: ANYWAY. Mini garlic knots. HOWCOMENOONEHASTHOUGHTOFTHISBEFORE? They’re bite sized and there’s like 30 of them in a single order(orrrr maybe closer to like 22, I don’t know! I actually didn’t count them!) swimming in buttery garlic. Or garlicky butter. Either way it’s heaven and you’ll probably have some left over to dip the main event of your meal into, like a pineapple and ham calzone. Speaking of the random calzone I just mentioned, I also had half a pineapple and ham calzone! We planned to split it, and Johnny’s took the liberty of bringing it out on two plates. now that’s rad! Full slices of ham, so you def need a knife — even a plastic knife. Delicious though, and unlike the«chillin’ fungus,» across the street(not literally) they put ricotta in their calzones. THAT’S HOWYOUDOIT! I’m def a fan. whoops the other place might have some competition…

I really wish this place was good. I only have been ordering here because it is close to my house. The pizza they deliver has twice been so under cooked the crust is still dough. Easily fixed by baking it in my oven, but still. It should arrive properly prepared. Even after baking in my own over, the quality is only marginally better than a frozen pizza. Also, they can be complete jerks. This latest time I called to get a delivery, and the guy who answered the phone told me that they had closed already. Unilocal listed them as open, so I thought it would be nice to let them know that Unilocal listed them as open. His response: «Yelp is wrong.» As if I didn’t already know that. This place will do in a pinch, but if you have options do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have been a patron at the 1465 Chattahoochee Ave NW #Atlanta, GA location for almost a year, because it is close to my place of employment. However, on Monday, October 06, 2014 I took a group of client’s from the treatment facility I work at to receive a self-defense class at a neighboring business. One of my clients got emotional, during the class and we sat on the steps of the plaza to speak privately. A stout man with a gray goatee came down the stairs behind us and demanded that we get off of the steps. His voice was cross, harsh, and disrespectful. My client and I advised the man that we would relocate off the steps, he replied(yelling as if we were children) «Gone and get off my steps now! We are getting ready to open, paying customers are coming». I advised him again, that we were getting ready to move. He stared at us, using obscene language, until we moved. My client, being in treatment, stated that she wanted to curse him back out. I advised her to use her coping skills, because there are rude and nasty people in the world; and you can’t just curse everyone out. Being with my client, the entire conversation, I knew she took my advice and was quiet on the situation. The rude man then proceeded to lie to the self-defense trainer, stating that my client cursed him for no reason. It was a blatant lie on my client. I have never been so disrespected to my face by anyone before this. I remained calm, because I love my job, and to show my group of client’s the correct way to handle a complete moron. As a result, I will NEVER patronize this business again. Change your management, owner, or whoever that was… and realize that just because we aren’t inside of the actual business, doesn’t mean we aren’t customers. Customer service extends beyond lunch time.

So, I didn’t even bother to take a pic, but I am able to do this review with great detail. I’ve been to the Johnny’s New York Style Pizza before, but have NEVER had the experience that I had this last visit. It was NOT a busy evening. It was raining for one, so it seemed that people weren’t getting out. We go to seat ourselves(hubby, son, and I) and we patiently wait for our server. People are coming in after us and another server is taking care of them. Still waiting for our server. She eventually came and took our drink orders. We ordered WATERAND A FREAKINGCOKE. She goes and does only God knows what but was gone for over 5 minutes. Again, it was not busy. She finally came back after we complained and took our order. We made sure that we knew what we wanted to order because we didn’t know when she’d be back. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. People were coming in after us and being served by the other server and they were getting their food and wrapping up to leave. We ordered 10 hot wings, and they came out before our pizza. They must’ve ran out of wings and had the audacity to bring us 9 wings and said that they’d bring us back 1 more when they cook it. NOWAIN’T THAT A «BLIMP»?! One wing? You all couldn’t compensate us for an incomplete order and give us 5 more or something. So, I ask our server, why is it that the tables around us are getting their orders and they came after us. She so nonchalantly say to me, I DON’T KNOWSINCE I’M NOTSERVINGTHEM. Well what she did know is that she didn’t know what she was doing and must not’ve gotten our order in like she’d said. I asked to speak to a manager and complained about the service. The MANAGER said«I was working in the kitchen on your wings and I didn’t have enough to give you». To me that was beyond unprofessional and bad business. We were hungry and didn’t leave because we have a small baby and didn’t want to keep getting him in and out of the car to find quality service. We were compensated for the calzone, but I will NEVEREVEREVER return.

Love the wings here. Have not had anything else, but I’m looking forward to exploring the menu. My 4 stars is based solely on the wings, atmosphere, and service.

I used to like Johnny’s but after today I’m not going back. I’ve had 2 consecutive bad experience a few months ago(once a thick black hair was on the pizza). Today I was in a rush, it was close and I gave it a third and final chance. The almost non-existent dough was soggy, there was WAY too much cheese, and there was barely any sauce– it seemed like they sprinkled canned diced tomatoes in the pizza. Also the slices had clearly been sitting for a few hours and reheated for my order. I’m all about giving second chances, but three consecutive bad experiences and I’m done. Fellini’s and Davinci’s going forward for me.

Johnny’s is easily my favorite pizza in Atlanta. While the atmosphere is underwhelming, the pizza more than makes up for that. My favorite pizza here would be the banana peppers and feta. So delicious. I’ve never had a pizza with that combo that tasted so good. I might be a Chicago gal, but while I was in Atlanta my favorite pizza was New York Style from Johnny’s.

I’ve been to two other Johnny’s NY Style Pizza restaurants, Douglasville & Lithia Springs, and this is my favorite. Although I prefer the thinner crust and the greasier taste of the Douglasville restaurant, this Johnny’s is my absolute favorite overall. The Midtown Johnny’s has consistently friendly servers, and the restaurant is waaaay more cleaner than the Douglasville & Lithia Spring locations. They also have free trivia every Wednesday, and $ 3.25 well drinks every day. As far as the food, yeah it may be more than your local fast food pizza joint but the pizza is always fresh and made to order. You can definitely taste the pizza was made with a little bit of love and freshness. Yep, I’m a fan!

I drive by this place on my way home from work every day. It is always busy. Recently I noticed a sign outside advertising $ 1 cheese slices on Mondays from 4pm-7pm. So I decided to check it out. I don’t like the pizza at this JNYSP location. I sat at the bar and ordered a pint of Miller Lite. I opted to add toppings to my $ 1 slices(mushroom on one and pepperoni on the other). The two slices came out piping hot but were smallish in size(compared to the JNYSP location near my office) and oddly oblong, stretched and distended in shape. The oddly warped oblong shape of my slices was a little disconcerting. It seemed like they feel like that it is okay to sell you weirdly shaped pizza slices(since you are only paying $ 1 for them — not cool). One of the slices(or perhaps both) tasted like they were near(or on top of) a burnt piece of plastic or burnt cellophane. The burnt plastic aftertaste can ruin a meal(much less a pizza slice). I have never had that happen with slices I have gotten from the other JNYSP location near my office. I surmised this awful anomaly was likely a fluke or isolated instance; however, I cannot forgive this. I will probably not return to this location because it literally(no pun intended) left a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps this place really deserves 2.5 stars but, on this occasion, I will go with two.

I found this place around the corner from where we live and a nice find it is, the food is better than good and the service is friendly too . There are specials on most week days, this location has delivery service available and Dos XX by the pitcher for $ 10.00 .
Pizzas have a medium crust that is chewy and at times a bit crusty and the slices are big enough to fold. Riding home with one of these in the passenger seat is just short of a tease, you pray for no red lights on the way to keep you from reaching your hand inside of the box and peeling a «little somthin off the top«. You can also make your own slice or choose one of the specialty’s Johnny’s has already created. They have sandwiches cold or toasted, salads are fresh and the garlic knots are Yum . Tonight had the Johnny’s Italian Special Calzone Holly Mother of God it was HUGE this thing will feed two people ! I was not disappointed the Calzone is awesome.
